Together | Clique kits international
Good morning everyone, Sarah here today to share with you a layout that was inspired by some stories my little ones have been telling me. We went running around outside, playing in the leaves and when we got in they went to telling me stories about their adventures, so I wanted to make sure to scrap a shot I got of them out there.
I used the Attitude of Gratitude base kit for this layout and it was perfect! I wanted leaves on this layout, being they had played in them all afternoon and all their stories were about their adventures in them too, so I went for a leaf cut-file on patterned paper and opted into a color cardstock background again. I wanted there to be a little lightness to the background, not just plain dark blue, so I dry brushed some white around where the cut-file was going to be, along with some splatters and added my cut-file on top.
From there it was pretty easy to finish up my layout, it was all about adding layers behind my photo and then the pretty, pretty embellishments.
I added a few layers and tags behind my photo and then went crazy on tucking flowers and leaves here and there in a few clusters on the layout. To finish it off I grabbed those oh so pretty Nordica sticker dots and tucked them in and under some of the cut-file and a few other places and that was it for this one.
I hope you enjoyed this layout and I hope we can see more of what y'all create with the Clique kits!

I love it when the coffee kicks in....| Clique Kits International
Good morning everyone! I wanted to share a fun layout that I made with the beautiful September Song kit.
I wanted to play with a patterned backgound again, I keep trying to branch out lol. I had made a cut file so I could use it on the background for my title, but accidents happen. Well really, my daughters saw it and decided to color on it. So instead of making another one, I decided to use it as a stencil.
I started this layout with the title, it being so big, I knew where I had space to put my photo and any embellishments that I wanted to add.
ILike I said, I used the cutfile as a stencil, just dabbed white paint over it. I figured it would show up pretty good on the background. I had to wait for that to dry, so I started to play with layers behind my photo. Just a good little pic I took on snapchat with my coffee. My my time in the mornings, before the kids get up, before school starts, before the crazy starts lol.
I chose some of the pretty bright colors from the patterned papers to add a pop behind the photo. Then I was like, hey this layout is about my coffee, so why not make a coffee cut to go with it. I sketched one out and cut if from different papers from the kit. I added a little sewing for texture and tucked it in under the side of my photo.
At this point my title was dry, I traced around it with a black pen thinking it might make it pop a little more. In person it doee. lol. Since the title was dry, I added a strip under the title for some seperation and to highlight it and then started to go through my ephemera and pull things I wanted to layer together. I added little bits here and there around the layout. A bit of yellow at the top and bottom. Really just because I liked the color and wanted to add it to my layout. And that was it, my fun little layout was done.
I hope you enjoyed me being a bit goofy with this layout. I had fun with it and I enjoy using goofy pictures as well. Mine, my kids and my pups lol. Come back and see what eles I have put together. I have a few other projects to share really soon, so I hope you come back by. Make sure to head over to Clique Kits and check out all the beautiful kits and all the amazing work the other ladies do. They are a great bunch and they all have so much talent!

Jan17 Designer challenge with Cocoa Daisy
Good morning everyone!! Are you up for a little challenge?? Well if so come and play along with us over at the Cocoa Daisy forums and the Cocoa Daisy challenge group! You have a chance to win a store gift card if you win!
So this month the challenge is centered around a mood board and oh man is it pretty, right?
I love the color combo for one, and those flowers are beautiful! I also love the water color look, ok ok its just all so pretty!! lol
This was what I created with that mood board in mind. I kept it soft, I kept it soft. I know there was some navy in the mood board along with some black, but I went with the lighter colors. This picture was just something sweet I caught. My oldest loves his little brothers and sisters, but he loves to sit and talk to the baby and thats what I caught here. So my oldest and my youngest, I just thought it was so sweet!
I used a heart cut file, tone on tone, so that it wasn't to distracting, but I loved the hearts in the background. I layered a little behind the photo and did some fussy cutting with those gorgeous flowers! I added a few little angled strips of the Cocoa Daisy exclusive papers across the bottom and top to frame it in some and add more color, but not to much, for me at least.
I added a few little embellishments here and there, some were punched out of one of the pink paislee papers and some from the exclusive. I added in a few of the floral sprigs and that was it for this one.

12x12 layout / Yeah Yeah Yeah.....
Morning everyone! Its cold here, what about where you are?
Well I thought I would do a little scrapping to pass the time and stay cozy here at home. This is a picture we took with our youngest daughter (at the time) to kind of announce we were having another baby. she was super excited, if you cant tell, lol
Well I thought I would do a little scrapping to pass the time and stay cozy here at home. This is a picture we took with our youngest daughter (at the time) to kind of announce we were having another baby. she was super excited, if you cant tell, lol
I started off with a white background and then used a Hip Kit club cut-file that said yeah yeah yeah repeatedly. After that I started doing my layering behind my photo. Different odds and endes from a Maggie Holmes collection.
I loved the bright colors and the teal in the collection went well with her cloths, but we didn't know what we were having at the time, so it worked with the mix of everything.
I added the ephemera pieces, flowers, frames, bows and then added a few enamel dots and word stickers, a strip across the bottom with a few embellishments and that was about it for this one. I did a little journaling on the back, about how everyone reacted to the text with the picture and how excited she was.It was a really simple layout, I think I managed to get it done in about 42 min. and only had to stop once or twice to grab a juice box or snack lol
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my layout today and I hope you come back again. If you want tot make sure to not miss anything, feel free to hit that fallow button and you wont miss out on anything anymore.

The sweetest thing / 12x12 layout Cocoa Daisy DT
Good morning everyone!! How is your Sunday going?? Mine is pretty good. Got up and it had frosted outside!! So excited for winter!! Everything is back to normal now, and it should be in the high 60's today but its starting!! lol So after I noticed that, I grabbed me a cup of coffee while everyone but the youngest was down and drank my 1st cup in quite, except for a bit of cooing, lol Kiddos got up and we had a yummy breakfast and now there all off to chores, baby is asleep and I'm here, still drinking coffee!! lol
Anyways.....lol back to scrapping.....
Anyways.....lol back to scrapping.....
So this precious little one is my newest addition to the family and here in this picture she was sick :( An upper respiratory infection and nothing they could give her for it since she was only right over a month old, so sad. But she looked so precious, I still had to scrap it and OMG this months Cocoa Daisy Scrapbook Kit, Sprinkles, the DITL kit and paper add on, Glazed are all so pretty and an amazing combination of products!
I used an old cut file and used that for most of the background. I liked the white on white and the sewing on top of that. I grabbed that pretty Maggie Holmes bird paper for the bottom and that was the base for my layout. After that I started the layering behind my photo. I used bits and pieces of scraps and a DITL card tucked in there.
I punched out a circle and used a few of the exclusive stickers/cut outs and that oh so sweet wood veneer.
I did pop in a little doily from my stash, I love the soft look of them! I finished it all off by adding a few hearts from the Dear Lizzy thickers set and then my journaling about my sweet little girl.
I'm loving my kits and have so much more to share!! These kits just keep going and I'm loving it!!
Thanks for stopping by to check out what I created today and I hope you come back by to see what else I do. If you dont want to miss anything, feel free to hit that follow button and make sure to head to the Cocoa Daisy site and grab your kits before there gone!!

Be Creative / Stash scrapping
Morning everyone! How has your weekend going so far??
Are you ready for Halloween?? We are ready now, still not to sure I really wanna get out with the kids this year with all the crazy going on, but the kids want to go so bad, so I guess its just being extremely careful.
I miss when I was a kid and you didn't have to worry about the crazy like you do now. Anyways....

This another layout that I did playing along with an online crop earlier this month and thought I'd share. I dont do a lot of mixed media anymore, I use to, I use to A LOT! But I like my layouts to be more clean, but I'm starting (very tentatively) to get back into playing with mixed media.
To be honest, I love the out let. Scrapbooking is so relaxing, but like I said I like mine to be more clean. But sometimes I really want to just get messy!! So maybe some more pretty messes in my future!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Hello / 12x12 layout
Good morning everyone!!
This is my newest little one here. Shes cuddling with my hubby, pre-hair cut lol, and I thought it was sweet that she just kept staring up at him. So I wanted to capture that. She would just sit there and stare at him, still dose now that shes a few months old, but now she jabbers more and simles, LOVE that!! lol.
Well I used my September Hip kit to make this layout. I had made it when I was still on the design team, but never shared it. I was in my craft room cleaning up and found it, so I thought Id share it. I love the nice soft colors that are mixed in with the new Maggie Holmes Gather collection, but I also like the yellow and blues!
Here are a few close ups for you to check out!

My loot Crate baby/ 12x12 scrapping my stash
Hey everyone! I am out running around today but I wanted to share a layout I created playing with stuff that's been in my stash for a few years.
Me and my hubby are our own kind of nerds lol and proud of it! Well he started getting his loot crates last year and loves them!! They always come with cool shirts, sometimes socks, collectabl toys and all kinds of stuff. It made him really happy when this showed up on our door step, I guess it's his equivalent to me getting my scrappy mail lol so I decided I wanted to document it.

I had fun playing with the cut files and mix of patterned papers. Ashley Horton created this cut file for Hip Kit Club for the month of August2016. And this was another layout that I created playing along with some of the prompts from a Victoria Marie online crop.
I really did like the fact that I dove into my stash with this one and used old Crate paper, old I believe American crafts paper, some Basic Grey and Pink Paislee Memorandum. I really did have fun. I definitely say you need to join the Victoria Marie facebook group, everyone is amazing there, lots of crafty talk, fun and goofyness and just plain fun!!
Well thanks for stopping by, I hope you come back to see more!

XOXO / 12X12 Stash scrapping
Hello everyone!! Happy Saturday! I'm a bit late in the day posting this, but I thought I'd share it anyhow.
This is my 2 youngest daughters. Older loves to spend time with her little sister, any time she gets! Baby was getting tummy time and older was sitting there talking to her and playing with her. I thought they looked cute so I snapped a few pics and this was my favorite.
I used some of what was left from the last kit I got from Hip Kits when I was on the design team to make this layout. I love all the Maggie Holmes, Gather collection. Everything I used was on the soft side. I wanted it that way because of the photo I used.
I added a few close up pictures for you to take a look at
Thanks so much for you coming by and checking out what I made, if you dont want to miss any of my posts, feel free to follow me.

PLS Thursday tips/ 12x12 layout Summer Fun
Good morning everyone! I'm here this morning to share my 1st layout using one of Pretty Little Studios new collection created by Ashley Horton, Oakley Avenue!! I love this collection and am so happy to get to play with it! The colors are so bright and vibrant, great for summer, fall and all sorts of other things!
This layout is about my 2 boys this past summer. We had took all the kids to a park to play and run out some energy. They had gotten hot so the decided to chill out in the slides cause they were under the trees, a little bit of shade, cooling off a little.
So the collection it self is Amazing as I already said lol, but the packaging is awesome too. All the collection you can use the packaging, but I loved the grid/notebook paper looking packaging and used it as layers here in the layout. I mean I had plenty to play with but I liked how it looked and I also used the brown paper bag that some of the products were in when I got my DT package.
Here are a few up close pictures of how I used some of the packaging, adding them as other layers in my layout.
Pretty little Studio Products used:
Oakley Avenue collection: 8x8 paper pack, Hello Fall cut a parts, Cinnamon Stick cut apart , Feelin Fallish die cuts, Changing colors paper, Fall words stickers, Wood grain tabs,

Sleepy Little Love / stash scrappin
Hello everyone!! How are you doing?? Pretty good here, everyone is getting over being sick, and with so many of us in a house the colds tend to stick around for a bit longer then normal. lol I guess its just something that happens when you have a big family
This is actually a picture from a few weeks ago. My little girl was not feeling to good and just wanted to climb up in my lap, cuddle and go to sleep, so I let her. This doesn't last long, I get I have 5 kids, but shes the 2nd to youngest and the older ones don't cuddle as much, as to be expected lol, but I miss it and love that the little ones still like to.But I also like to be there when there not feeling good to comfort them. But I snapped a little selfie of us and just set in to relax and chill out with her.
A few little close ups of some of the layering and playing that I did, hope you like them

This is a great story
Hey everyone, popping in today to share another quick layout with y'all. This is my new beautiful little daughter. Excuse the bragging!! But she is amazing! And how she came into this world was crazy! That's what this layout is actually about.
You'll see here that all the layers and mats behind her picture are actually made on a hinge so that I can hide all the writing I wanted to do. I'm never big on writing on my layouts cause I'm always worried I'll mess the layout up. I'm working on it though! But this was very personal, but a story that I wanted her to know when she got older. I wrote about everything that happend that morning leading up to having her.
I had fun finding a way to to keep the layout simple, light, airy and still getting all the journaling in.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my layout, If you don't want to miss any of my post feel free to click the follow button and you wont miss anything anymore!

Lets go explore / Pretty Little Studio DT
Morning everyone!! Sarah here to share another layout made with some awesome Pretty little Studio collections. I've been on a bit of a kick creating boy layouts lately. I love my pretty little girl ones with flowers, pink and all but I enjoy the change up.
With this layout I'm featuring stickers.
I played with my stickers in a few different ways, well I used them like you would any other sticker, by just sticking them to the page, lol, I made a little epoxy flair with one of the gold camera stickers and I used a whole sheet of the mini Alphas for a layer in my layout. And on top of that I ended up layering part of my title, that was a sticker lol, over the sheet of them.
I started on the left side of my layout with the cute cloud paper, Seattle, I started layering behind my photo, added some tags, labels and it still was missing something so thats when I decided to add the sheet of stickers behind my photo. I loved the way it looked, its a pretty color and I love the little letters as another layer. After that I added a few cut-files from the cut shoppe, a few more stickers and cut out a few of the clouds from the Seattle paper, added some thread behind the lovely flair.
Pretty Little Studio products used:
Lets go travel collection: Let's Go 8x8 paper pack, Seattle 8x8, Yellowstone 8x8, Cheyenne Shipping tags, Tiny ABC Ocean Blue, Weekend Gold Metallic vellum stickers, Fresno Flair, Anchorage 8x8, Chicago 8x8 , London 8x8, France Frames

So the adventure begins/ 12x12 layout Hip Kit DT
Hello everyone, Im sharing a layout today that I created for the Hip Kit Club Design team with the August 2016 kits and cut-files.
My kids have great minds and I love how they show it. My daughter is 3, we were helping my parents pack up their house and she commandeered this box. She drew on it some and then informed us that she was going to the zoo to see the giraffes, So I loved that that was in this months kit!! lol Anyways, she also told us that she was going to the movies and to Alaska to visit her aunt and a few other places.
I cut the cut-file out on a piece of American Crafts white cardstock and added pop dots on the back of it after I had chose all the paper strips I wanted to use, a mix of Dear Lizzy, Amy tangerine and Crate paper all from the main kit. I used my water colors and painted some of the cool little flower cut-files and layered them with flowers ad stickers.
I'm working on my issues, but I dont like having my journaling on my layouts, not showing at least. So I made a little pocket up to the left of the photo and journaled on a tag and stuck it in there. It was either that or on the back and I was happy with it here, lol. I see so many people journal on there layouts and it looks fantastic and then I do it and its like, oh did she let her kid do the journaling for her? lol I mean I guess my handwriting isnt that bad but I'm working on it lol.
I hope you enjoyed my layout and I hope you come back and check out more of what I create! make sure to head over to the Hip Kit blog and check out what all those lovely ladies are coming up with and make sure to grab your kits while you can!!
