How are you doing today? Were halfway through the week, woot, woot!!
Well, I thought I’d share a layout with you really quick that I made using the joy kit from Mercy Tiara kits club. This kit is beautiful and there are links below where you can go and grab it too.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmBWaJlBHWeGvujR5Zl_6-ii7LFPuWRBcUJ7LTEhraf7iClVwlfjqam8BEEAYznmMJj3WhQ9uO4MkZYRaSusDAGMaeujgU0IAhpPJgINIlH4DqID2Uc5wd6tJby01rcena6eNJE6Hiuce9p0aD-KeaYcTsJryGEWdNSnYYf4zLIWBANhPgHU0cq2pGmG_W/s2951/BFE3F3E7-9744-47C4-8120-FD25CC5ABADF.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="2951" data-original-width="2951" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmBWaJlBHWeGvujR5Zl_6-ii7LFPuWRBcUJ7LTEhraf7iClVwlfjqam8BEEAYznmMJj3WhQ9uO4MkZYRaSusDAGMaeujgU0IAhpPJgINIlH4DqID2Uc5wd6tJby01rcena6eNJE6Hiuce9p0aD-KeaYcTsJryGEWdNSnYYf4zLIWBANhPgHU0cq2pGmG_W/s600/BFE3F3E7-9744-47C4-8120-FD25CC5ABADF.JPEG"/></a></div>
I did a little different with this layout and pulled mostly blues, whites and a little bit of wood grain too. I had fun with a little bit of mixed media, a stencil and a bit of layering!

I hope you're having a good week, it's almost the weekend!! Well this is my last post for Cut Cardstock and I thought I would share a cute polar bear card with you guys I made.

Seriously, I think these little guys are so cute! This stamp is the BB Polar Bear Pals from My Favorite things, so I used those and I went with a blue and white color scheme for the whole card, as you can tell. lol. I used Cougar White Smooth CardStock for the base of my card as I normally do. Then I grabbed a piece of Surf. I cut it slightly smaller than the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base and ran it though my sizzix with a 3E embosser.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJvY9z7PiEX6Wbxdvp22pbKrWZaPjw_gV3iWr8N-gbfd-h3TpVPVujoblkAQcciRjHmaI8vdPSY5Wl_Ywhz97UnGUopHgvch5VB51W3RP84ST1ZsYHY-1VEMwHnrsfJ5nCQsz8zQKNajMrfNXnLLk9xCmXuA1_uaxVUdmLDxhaCfpuhp3AnEavfky5HM-J/s3024/D6113AE9-D147-40E0-95B7-FFBB3F9737A1.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJvY9z7PiEX6Wbxdvp22pbKrWZaPjw_gV3iWr8N-gbfd-h3TpVPVujoblkAQcciRjHmaI8vdPSY5Wl_Ywhz97UnGUopHgvch5VB51W3RP84ST1ZsYHY-1VEMwHnrsfJ5nCQsz8zQKNajMrfNXnLLk9xCmXuA1_uaxVUdmLDxhaCfpuhp3AnEavfky5HM-J/s600/D6113AE9-D147-40E0-95B7-FFBB3F9737A1.JPEG"/></a></div>
I cut a 4x5 1/4 piece of white to have as my background, cut a few hills and then pulled out my cloud stencil. I Grabbed my tumbled glass distress oxide for my clouds. When that was done I went to stamping my bears, their fish bucket and my sentiment on another sheet of Cougar White Smooth CardStock.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhx5Qym7STXbaYhyifWiQmxZ1SZuffQ9XGQgbBDp5VFKxO5dUPkaoo-tk-y6_vbzVKqaJXTGSxuJb3FXAE8A7rJo8gc_DjpCwliAyUjX39tgkmTkxlLeOzUGJr0z7j2M1PUvAh38Zvotm3z5e56_WvKkKHDPOBLepOHIRTTYtogUT6rPo-ryITMAJNRFy2K/s3024/A1E6C0A4-821C-47B9-9F42-93FB70507177.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhx5Qym7STXbaYhyifWiQmxZ1SZuffQ9XGQgbBDp5VFKxO5dUPkaoo-tk-y6_vbzVKqaJXTGSxuJb3FXAE8A7rJo8gc_DjpCwliAyUjX39tgkmTkxlLeOzUGJr0z7j2M1PUvAh38Zvotm3z5e56_WvKkKHDPOBLepOHIRTTYtogUT6rPo-ryITMAJNRFy2K/s600/A1E6C0A4-821C-47B9-9F42-93FB70507177.JPEG"/></a></div>
I pulled out my Tri Blend alcohol markers by Spectrum noir, adding some color to the polar bears scarfs, a little shading to their bodies and of course a little color to their feet. I also colored in the bucket of fish.
At this point all there was left to do was to add everything to the card. I placed the hills where I wanted them and then decided where I wanted mhy Polar bears and their bucket of fish. I had my sentimit, but I thought with it being on white that it blended in to much. So I grabbed my tumbled glass distress oxide again and inked up the edges. Popped it up on some foam and placed it at the bottom left of my card and call it done!
I hope you enjoyed this card and the cute little polar bears!!! I hope you have a great rest of your week!!Sarah Wyleshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00175944180069658915noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1383274353277885044.post-88022569878798506822023-11-14T06:00:00.004-08:002023-11-14T06:00:00.150-08:00Hedgehog Slimline cards | CutCardstock DTHey everyone! I hope your week has started off pretty good!
Well today I wanted to share these two cute little fall cards with Hedgehogs on them! I think they are just too cute!
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiM3r5GsbaQS5k6Ve0yXAhr3z35woXfl7ilkUkxbJ5h4Q8-DHmmLZ-BhqNcilGTmrbbCcG9fJySXcPIdy3ITQ9RbefwfFuENuunkIsu1-Cp2zw2H7MgQ0trt4jMDJsF10mobKdK2zH09K2hixmbla5L9HocDmkkOHmqzNnC6KOijZl4EQAhCv0jwZIKK3eu/s3024/9EDE7CBC-D9DB-4959-B578-B9F710F5A7D2.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiM3r5GsbaQS5k6Ve0yXAhr3z35woXfl7ilkUkxbJ5h4Q8-DHmmLZ-BhqNcilGTmrbbCcG9fJySXcPIdy3ITQ9RbefwfFuENuunkIsu1-Cp2zw2H7MgQ0trt4jMDJsF10mobKdK2zH09K2hixmbla5L9HocDmkkOHmqzNnC6KOijZl4EQAhCv0jwZIKK3eu/s600/9EDE7CBC-D9DB-4959-B578-B9F710F5A7D2.JPEG"/></a></div>
I created the base of my cards out of <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/white-card-stock/products/cougar-white-discount-card-stock" target="_blank">Cougar White Smooth CardStock</a>, like normal. I also did all of my stamping on the same cardsrtock. This is my normal, I like the way the paper takes the different inks. Not just stamping but distressed oxide too, as you can see I made a background piece with distress oxide and a cloud stencil.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaSfyZl8_SktYixzQJ8n9ZmU7Ca-7RZNjGvwBeHhv6vFzjLjxrKgjj6YW7F60THaijxsFltVRikyqqc_me81tuT9JmqykBRxqdVcSEI18g4S2Mp6Smxyb443HZqehhU7F74gTZSPxQzW6LQ8LgkSwSHdYKAXMwxm7Ybx6lTl0tTmAmrtuSZpqFVa2aboL4/s3024/22D43687-52FA-4D49-80DA-E4121720EA0B.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaSfyZl8_SktYixzQJ8n9ZmU7Ca-7RZNjGvwBeHhv6vFzjLjxrKgjj6YW7F60THaijxsFltVRikyqqc_me81tuT9JmqykBRxqdVcSEI18g4S2Mp6Smxyb443HZqehhU7F74gTZSPxQzW6LQ8LgkSwSHdYKAXMwxm7Ybx6lTl0tTmAmrtuSZpqFVa2aboL4/s600/22D43687-52FA-4D49-80DA-E4121720EA0B.JPEG"/></a></div>

I colored all of my little hedgehogs,(these are My Favorite Things, Happy Hedgehogs), with my alcohol markers and a little white gel pen. I ran some patterned paper through my sizzix and created the scalloped edge and then ran <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/products/ginger-linen-12x12-cardstock" target="_blank">Gingersnap</a> cardstock through my sizzix as well with the dies to cut out the holes. I had to have somewhere for the cute little hedgehogs to go!

Once I had places all the hedgehogs, their logs, mushrooms and othere little things down I added some 3D foam to the back of the solid cardsotck and stuck it down.
On the green casrds I had chosen to use <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/products/gumdrop-green-discount-card-stock" target="_blank">Gumdrop Green</a>, I pulled out a few distress oxides from my stash and inked around the edges and stamped my sentiments and call these cards done!
I hope you enjoyed these cards and I hope you come back to see what else everyone comes up with!

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7ihrWNFYmPZmn6qgJvTBaLHPF0AyTLXDu_eAgVP1PHaXvLIaRlMGbAwNV5CBzG6M8FNQJMBUoCYMgvzwCPJbjJ_e1cawTB3OgVXkxtrInUyyj6Ig9_o3QL6gP1WrX9nJCm8if1VujDsswV5HzyL5ywvmd0wZ5dgk06_AbyIVa-KUTer9vscmu9H7bSTd-/s1080/C615B274-AB56-4BD8-A0A6-B7F2E835A2B4.JPG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7ihrWNFYmPZmn6qgJvTBaLHPF0AyTLXDu_eAgVP1PHaXvLIaRlMGbAwNV5CBzG6M8FNQJMBUoCYMgvzwCPJbjJ_e1cawTB3OgVXkxtrInUyyj6Ig9_o3QL6gP1WrX9nJCm8if1VujDsswV5HzyL5ywvmd0wZ5dgk06_AbyIVa-KUTer9vscmu9H7bSTd-/s600/C615B274-AB56-4BD8-A0A6-B7F2E835A2B4.JPG"/></a></div>
I pulled out some of the stencils, sime of my distress oxides from my stash and went to town on the background. It still suprises me from time to time that it really doesn't take to much time to play with a little mixed media. I added a little water to the edges so that they wouldnt be clena and perfect, well i guess you'll see that in the video lol

But I had fun playing with the stamps ontop of the stencilling, and moved on to cutting and layering papers. Ok I'll stop talking now and you can just watch the video lol. Hope you enjoy!

Are you happy its Friday?!? I am! lol I'm ready for the weekend and some fun outdoors!
Today I'm here to share a cardstock heavy layout!! And I love it! I ran 7 different cardstocks; Stardream Metallic Copper, Textured Pink Carnation, Canvas Textured Wild Salmon, Textured Flame Tree Orange, Orange Zest, Canvas Textured Rubber Ducky Yellow and Canvas Textured Galax Olive Green, through my sizzix using a fringe die. I ran a piece of the Cougar White Smooth CardStock through my silhouette and cut out a bunch of leaves. I saved the ones I cut out but I actually wanted to use the other part as my background.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEnCa0GK3GnqfrNwwtwZ6pwfY1IhZKFl5Id_PlKbhIv-dM0Tgtfc92vbQK1K_O9tBRJnOqbjDfwFNR5ui3WFb-R2s3rzo30LGeZjTHPMzoJzLh_8LM3DfXNtZBphbv4N-XD0QFZWSUtuxlWP4_mtU8OAztK33t-WQE1l15IfcXcG-LV2GlSTssmnK_332d/s3550/BB30AEA2-8702-4719-93D9-64022F7301F2.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" height="600" data-original-height="3550" data-original-width="2662" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEnCa0GK3GnqfrNwwtwZ6pwfY1IhZKFl5Id_PlKbhIv-dM0Tgtfc92vbQK1K_O9tBRJnOqbjDfwFNR5ui3WFb-R2s3rzo30LGeZjTHPMzoJzLh_8LM3DfXNtZBphbv4N-XD0QFZWSUtuxlWP4_mtU8OAztK33t-WQE1l15IfcXcG-LV2GlSTssmnK_332d/s600/BB30AEA2-8702-4719-93D9-64022F7301F2.JPEG"/></a></div>
I grabbed a random piece of paper from my stash and laid my fringe pieces out on it so that I knew I had enough pieces and that it was in the order I wanted. I also checked to make sure that my top piece would sit correctly. I added 3d foam adhesive to the back of the cutfile and placed it over the top, after I had gotten all the fringe pieces stuck down.

I pulled out the stash kit I've been working with. I added a few paper layers behind my photo and stuck it down, then moved on to adding embellishments and finding a title.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUMkt8KWfAQjLBnsnIl7_cgCb8OO0kxlVwEFCxiVVTwibCy8D6ozxzvaT1zEkSfAGoA2ln6ZP2ItTNgfWmfL46Ng6kXL5YJXsXIlvXdJeZz_oUku0BThBL0EJzqPhuTE7lwSevip4kroezc0hdZubucKG3dlMSu2Bn3P37U03gqbHJUByj64g5aGDwkx02/s3500/EBDD3837-006E-4C1B-A4CA-E20CDD834D2F.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" height="600" data-original-height="3500" data-original-width="2625" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUMkt8KWfAQjLBnsnIl7_cgCb8OO0kxlVwEFCxiVVTwibCy8D6ozxzvaT1zEkSfAGoA2ln6ZP2ItTNgfWmfL46Ng6kXL5YJXsXIlvXdJeZz_oUku0BThBL0EJzqPhuTE7lwSevip4kroezc0hdZubucKG3dlMSu2Bn3P37U03gqbHJUByj64g5aGDwkx02/s600/EBDD3837-006E-4C1B-A4CA-E20CDD834D2F.JPEG"/></a></div>
I thought this sticker that said One fine day, was perfect! This day had been fantastic and the kiddos had had so much fun, it worked! I pulled the leafy bits from the sticker sheet and added those in a few places. Along with a few other stickers that I layered in the bottom left corner, the left side of my photo and up at the top as well.

I pulled some older supplies from my kit and added some of the shiny rhinestone wooden buttons here and there, decided I wanted white splatters and that ended this layout!
Hope you enjoyed this layout!Sarah Wyleshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00175944180069658915noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1383274353277885044.post-5772428058386901292023-09-29T04:00:00.041-07:002023-09-29T04:00:00.147-07:00Halloween coffee Panda cards | Cut Cardstock DTGood mornig everyone!! How are you doing and are you ready for fall or haloween?? I sure am and have been. But here where I live we keep getting teased with fall but it keeps getting hot again :(.
Well this morning I wanted to share with you two cards that I made and ones a shaker!!
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcasxnMrdln1tPudcTeeog6tC-Ist0mePgDlWG9WSFCwZKajV_cgJEZCGyncfdv96o0mUQMi69B_TUMzxw3aHP7VwwV5yKlM8EgRnK3aAIYvTjfxw-WMOtzsUolh8RwSGyWzoUXK4V5rZjIAtk1DSCstZo7yYgq-SrP3tevnVvggN-6Y1V4JdgvYrXwW4g/s2441/0BE9B9BC-2FDE-43F8-940D-B89E29BF02FF.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="2441" data-original-width="2441" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcasxnMrdln1tPudcTeeog6tC-Ist0mePgDlWG9WSFCwZKajV_cgJEZCGyncfdv96o0mUQMi69B_TUMzxw3aHP7VwwV5yKlM8EgRnK3aAIYvTjfxw-WMOtzsUolh8RwSGyWzoUXK4V5rZjIAtk1DSCstZo7yYgq-SrP3tevnVvggN-6Y1V4JdgvYrXwW4g/s600/0BE9B9BC-2FDE-43F8-940D-B89E29BF02FF.JPEG"/></a></div>
I used my normal base for my cards, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/cougar-white-discount-card-stock" target="_blank">Cougar Smooth White cardstock</a>, I pulled the <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/halloween-6x6-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Halloween American crafts paper pad</a> I got from Cut cardstock and matched some of the cardstock to it.
I ended up pulling <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/canvas-textured-shimmery-white-card-stock" target="_blank">Wedding cake</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/shimmer-black-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Gunmetal</a>, and <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/orange-zest-discount-12x12-cardstock" target="_blank">Orange Zest</a>.

Once I had everything picked out and matched, things came together quite easily. I ran some of the Halloween paper throught my sizzix to cut out the coffee cups, the first one I turned into a shaker with some cute little punkins I had in my stash. I had stamped out some cute little pandas in the beging and I added one to the center of my shaker.
once I had the shaker put together I added a piece of patterned paper to the front of my card base and moved on to my other card.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyy2VbZNvthJIHo8t1j5DHedG1fzOQhm7dMJM4LXE3htX-0VIDFyKvlscgYH8iv_bZU9bZOHThq9ulotG7CF2muHjceJoO_tLXAML8w7eK-vfAms4_Vo4LJQtEjf7QLhLiNXz29MJrVzMAhUO-2IZOa9e3kAzezqlVgNgqLyaealSmy8XkagdYjbQQzzau/s3021/C530BDDB-D92C-4F0F-B25F-67C2D5DA3F63.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3021" data-original-width="3021" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyy2VbZNvthJIHo8t1j5DHedG1fzOQhm7dMJM4LXE3htX-0VIDFyKvlscgYH8iv_bZU9bZOHThq9ulotG7CF2muHjceJoO_tLXAML8w7eK-vfAms4_Vo4LJQtEjf7QLhLiNXz29MJrVzMAhUO-2IZOa9e3kAzezqlVgNgqLyaealSmy8XkagdYjbQQzzau/s600/C530BDDB-D92C-4F0F-B25F-67C2D5DA3F63.JPEG"/></a></div>
This one wasn't a shaker, so it came together even faster. I went ahead and cut another coffee cup out, inked my panda with some distress oxide and drew some little stitches on him like Frankenstein. I inked the edges of my coffee cup pieces, glued everything together. Stamped boo on the coffee cup sleeves and call these cards done! I hope you enjoyed these cards and if youd like to see a bit more you can watch a quick video here on my <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@sarahwscrappin" target="_blank">Tiktok</a>.Sarah Wyleshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00175944180069658915noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1383274353277885044.post-67151044413091643582023-09-27T06:00:00.001-07:002023-09-27T21:14:50.772-07:00Life is sweet layout | Mercy Tiara Kit Club | Take me home kitGood morning everyone!! I got my September kit from Mercy Tiara kits last night and I had to dive right in!
I made a quick unboxing, you can find that on my youtube channel, along with a process video for this layout too, just a heads up lol.
But I really had to dive right in and make a layout, I have other layouts with Augusts kit still, but I wanted to play. So here is my first layout with this kit.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjj7cqDXfsmkRj3fteAZ7foV-gKC-fLwaEx36RwmY-DmXxWEye-Izc6ngXgGb_shnkzQNPiJ2YHpdo8f-s-TB27q7zjVLDfaQCFjRfMBEJq7LlJBQB3WRNTqGW1FC4b2DE87LGOaixrkEj39WvvlibzF4AKZVCk3OXsu4o-kb93wdzbYAqkuj_1qMJuMw1h/s2967/34E2572F-9270-4E4C-A6C4-A939B2B6226A.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" height="600" data-original-height="2967" data-original-width="2964" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjj7cqDXfsmkRj3fteAZ7foV-gKC-fLwaEx36RwmY-DmXxWEye-Izc6ngXgGb_shnkzQNPiJ2YHpdo8f-s-TB27q7zjVLDfaQCFjRfMBEJq7LlJBQB3WRNTqGW1FC4b2DE87LGOaixrkEj39WvvlibzF4AKZVCk3OXsu4o-kb93wdzbYAqkuj_1qMJuMw1h/s600/34E2572F-9270-4E4C-A6C4-A939B2B6226A.JPEG"/></a></div>
I knew what pictures I wanted to scrap, these sweet ones of one of my daughters and this sweet horse that she loves to feed, brush, and talk to. This is probably one of her favorite things right now. I didn't want a white background so I went for the Bazzil mint cardstock with the cute little dots on it. I added a little TCW shimmery goodness out of my stash, jutst to add some shimmer to the layout.

I cut little strips from one of the Simple stories papers and a strip from one of the Fancy pants papers and added them to the top and bottom of the layout.

I'm not patient, so I started to add layers behind my pictures, tuck things here and there. Add my foam adhesivce and cut some more strips to comeout to the left of my layout.

I added my title at the bottom, added a few more of those rubons, I love them by the way! They work so well!! The I pulled those sweet, beautiful sequins and started plavcing them all over my layout until I was happy and then I called this lauyout done!

I used the Cougar Smooth White Cardstock for my card base, along with the portion with the cutouts and for my stamping of my polar bears too. I love this cardstock because I can stamp on it, use my alcohol markers and it stays nice and smooth! And the other color I used is Pop-tone Sour Apple cardstock.

I used my Slim card Basics, creative cuts from Mama Elephant to cut my card out the way I wanted. I popped the white portion with the cutouts up so I could add some dimension and I wanted to make sure the clouds I inked on showed through too.

I added one of my little polar bears to the top hole and one to the bottom. Then I added a banner with my sentiment to the center one and called this card done. I really liked that this was a simple card, but cute!
I hope you liked this card and I hope you have a great rest of your week!!Sarah Wyleshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00175944180069658915noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1383274353277885044.post-39377423381750660292023-08-29T05:00:00.002-07:002023-08-29T05:00:00.151-07:00My first Slimline cards | Cut Cardstock DTHello crafty people!! I hope your day is going well and I hope your up for checking out some new cards I made, My 1st Slimline cards actually.... and I'm pretty happy with them, if I do say so myself.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSsH__U69gFWD7CdYSpI0ztg4Ar-2WAzfKgqdHySkZgasX2A7V7sLDLxX6bH5jQbm5kELMnw96rPLvd5crfiEd-FV7Ysa0oLwvoUml9-RxMZMp1Mb9ybQ2b7JA3WpOuUZbdiJbLbHzm9wbRZL88Ahpz6wTI-0KzkAZiIPz7jE5TufjrG6kNXcqd3bguDgh/s3024/9B3B2AE7-4B12-465D-B04A-E0A8E5699003.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSsH__U69gFWD7CdYSpI0ztg4Ar-2WAzfKgqdHySkZgasX2A7V7sLDLxX6bH5jQbm5kELMnw96rPLvd5crfiEd-FV7Ysa0oLwvoUml9-RxMZMp1Mb9ybQ2b7JA3WpOuUZbdiJbLbHzm9wbRZL88Ahpz6wTI-0KzkAZiIPz7jE5TufjrG6kNXcqd3bguDgh/s600/9B3B2AE7-4B12-465D-B04A-E0A8E5699003.JPEG"/></a></div>
I started with one card. I had never done one of these and of course I would choose one that has soooo may things you have to pop out and then layer back in. But it was totally worth it!!
I started with Cougar White Smooth cardstock for the base of my card and then I thought I would also use it for the front portion of this card. I ran it through my sizzix, popped everything out and then moved on to cutting the next few layering parts out too. I wanted to go with a coral color and a pretty teal/blue color. So I chose Pearl canvas texture Aquarium, Wild Salmon and Beetle Black. I used these colors for both cards with a little different look in the end.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZ_1L_q6Qd5xP4vp3IhbubEkKouILb63TUcI84W0nUreGJgaL17x0Fl0XfFcEgt8u6cGMj7i0z1vMSujJGzIjt8jVyp4anC_Y6J5Ex8N7aEEL-tUXO7G9l_rzUpi8X1HZsyZJUVJ06vrTT9CYiG18nT8eEX-kVckFHxr1BAWzd1PKHvlXcc7a1aRExnZ_W/s3024/9E4C4C35-0409-485C-93BB-3C5B163848A1.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZ_1L_q6Qd5xP4vp3IhbubEkKouILb63TUcI84W0nUreGJgaL17x0Fl0XfFcEgt8u6cGMj7i0z1vMSujJGzIjt8jVyp4anC_Y6J5Ex8N7aEEL-tUXO7G9l_rzUpi8X1HZsyZJUVJ06vrTT9CYiG18nT8eEX-kVckFHxr1BAWzd1PKHvlXcc7a1aRExnZ_W/s600/9E4C4C35-0409-485C-93BB-3C5B163848A1.JPEG"/></a></div>
I started with black as the farthest back on this card. I then cut the salmon color and then the blue. Once I layered them, I found some little gems in my stash and added them on the end. Pulled two distress oxides out of my stash, one to match the blue and the coral colors I used, so that I could add them to the background on the base of my card. For the white card I used Saltwater taffy on the edges, glued everything down, placed the little black pieces in the latticing. Finished it off with my sentiment and moved on to the next card.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBUQpSYBTZvKMgyY7c7cqrzwYTbltspcxT52CWyNPFASVJzlpllB71FRkWcEKUj3a7Yo1rr7CMTDes3Q7iHDtFJXX1oxRJtFLv1m76_kjwEROKft6Z1Mn8HmAKONVvmgTmuGQuZoO6iuwXc5m7k6yQydXbUfQ0MrC5MDqlP0e8ZINcS068-xGqZ4z5ki9e/s3024/4B9BE369-1F3B-43E3-A8C7-03270112B836.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBUQpSYBTZvKMgyY7c7cqrzwYTbltspcxT52CWyNPFASVJzlpllB71FRkWcEKUj3a7Yo1rr7CMTDes3Q7iHDtFJXX1oxRJtFLv1m76_kjwEROKft6Z1Mn8HmAKONVvmgTmuGQuZoO6iuwXc5m7k6yQydXbUfQ0MrC5MDqlP0e8ZINcS068-xGqZ4z5ki9e/s600/4B9BE369-1F3B-43E3-A8C7-03270112B836.JPEG"/></a></div>
With this one, I started with a black base and black for the base of the front of my card too. I did all the same exact steps on this card, but with a different color order and salvaged patina distress oxide. Along with a different sentiment and colored jewels.
I hope you enjoyed these two cards, I have to say I really enjoyed making them and was so happy with the way they turned out, especially being my first Slimline cards I have made!Sarah Wyleshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00175944180069658915noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1383274353277885044.post-15052690144736665722023-08-14T05:00:00.001-07:002023-08-14T05:00:00.144-07:00Pineapple Cards | Cut Cardstock DtGood morning everyone!! How are you this monday? I hope your week is starting good!
I wanted to hop on this morning to share a few new cards with you that I did. I couldn't help but use this cute pineapple stamp from Concord & 9th. I loved the fact that I could add so much color to it! And I did just that!
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNTp0zfyxbNmekJMcbFi9DR7VUlZHo3SnSgyKEj61UCmqulnMq2o7zzVlWyjiNTakBlVye_PgeQBRvwW6eRkkIZbAzIZ5eBgF89EzPiooYuXxbRvYVCFmigjQCIlHT1qqEU_7rtiGvIjiBln4EUiNbLdE99U4TxjkkA3AjfS6iyx5doD3AunHnsBaT2WL1/s2766/5EFAB3EA-F031-4609-8CDC-5A7B66DAABAA.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="2766" data-original-width="2766" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNTp0zfyxbNmekJMcbFi9DR7VUlZHo3SnSgyKEj61UCmqulnMq2o7zzVlWyjiNTakBlVye_PgeQBRvwW6eRkkIZbAzIZ5eBgF89EzPiooYuXxbRvYVCFmigjQCIlHT1qqEU_7rtiGvIjiBln4EUiNbLdE99U4TxjkkA3AjfS6iyx5doD3AunHnsBaT2WL1/s600/5EFAB3EA-F031-4609-8CDC-5A7B66DAABAA.JPEG"/></a></div>
I chose the Cougar Smooth White cardstock for my card bases along with what I chose to stamp on. This paper just seems to be able to take the ink from the stamp, along with alcohol markers and distress oxides too.
I stamped both pineapples and thought I would try something different with each of them. The one that ended up on the yellow was done with distress oxide inks and I love the way the colors turned out, kind of a bit fall-ish looking, to me at least. To finish that cards I grabbed some of my Light Yellow cardstock, ran it through my sizzix with a embossing folder and then rubbed one of my distress oxides across the raised parts and then cut an circle in it large enough pop my pineapple up in and added my hello sentiment banner and moved on to my next card.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzU1AdBPWJikzT1UlrSysszyIRLcF0asAvPqRsK4zkSyvnjkvHq6Vd0bG-H8ln8S-XIKA1CigUU7UqO1Wo80HjTTESfvkL1nwkSX7KhMlfY98-avLTfv-RKCTs7_n-PR3zYGDk4p_dc1-KDDk8cHFsGZk5vN99CUwjuiPrhoZ8ArPNxjGf-8eq3ELqV-AG/s3024/AFA8747D-3C2F-4094-9F68-39941164973E.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzU1AdBPWJikzT1UlrSysszyIRLcF0asAvPqRsK4zkSyvnjkvHq6Vd0bG-H8ln8S-XIKA1CigUU7UqO1Wo80HjTTESfvkL1nwkSX7KhMlfY98-avLTfv-RKCTs7_n-PR3zYGDk4p_dc1-KDDk8cHFsGZk5vN99CUwjuiPrhoZ8ArPNxjGf-8eq3ELqV-AG/s600/AFA8747D-3C2F-4094-9F68-39941164973E.JPEG"/></a></div>
I figured with the first card, it looking fall-ish that I would continue on with that on this card but in different colors. So, I pulled out my alcohol markers and went to coloring in pretty light pinks, purples and some maroons and a bit of a different green too. Since I had went this route with it, I had the perfect purple in my stash to use. I grabbed my Hydrangea purple, ran it through my sizzix as well, cut a circle in it and popped up my pineapple, added my sentiment and called them done!

I started with the I'm grumpy when you're not here card. I grabbed my mermaid lagoon distress oxide with my <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/products/surf-12x12-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Surf cardstock</a> and blended some of that from the top down until I liked it. I had already decided I was going to use this sleeping cat on the shelf, so I kind of wanted it to look a little like night time. Once I did that I ran it through my sizzix with my heart die. I added 3D foam to the back and was fixing to put it on a <a href="I%20started%20with%20the%20I%27m%20grumpy%20when%20you%27re%20not%20here%20card.%20I%20grabbed%20my%20mermaid%20lagoon%20distress%20oxide%20with%20my%20Surf%20cardstock%20and%20blended%20some%20of%20that%20from%20the%20top%20down%20until%20I%20liked%20it.%20I%20had%20already%20decided%20I%20was%20going%20to%20use%20this%20sleeping%20cat%20on%20the%20shelf,%20so%20I%20kind%20of%20wanted%20it%20to%20look%20a%20little%20like%20night%20time.%20Once%20I%20did%20that%20I%20ran%20it%20through%20my%20sizzix%20with%20my%20heart%20die.%20I%20added%203D%20foam%20to%20the%20back%20and%20was%20fixing%20to%20put%20it%20on%20a%20white%20base,%20but%20decided%20to%20add%20some%20shimmery%20white%20splatters%20and%20then%20added%20it%20to%20the%20base.%20I%20had%20already%20stamped%20my%20sayings%20so%20I%20added%20a%20little%203D%20foam%20to%20it,%20just%20in%20the%20center%20where%20it%20would%20be%20over%20the%20heart.%20I%20added%20the%20shelf%20inside%20the%20heart%20and%20popped%20the%20cat%20up%20and%20then%20added%20the%20cute%20little%20mouse%20down%20in%20the%20corner%20and%20moved%20on%20to%20the%20next%20card." target="_blank">white base</a>, but decided to add some shimmery white splatters and then added it to the base. I had already stamped my sayings so I added a little 3D foam to it, just in the center where it would be over the heart. I added the shelf inside the heart and popped the cat up and then added the cute little mouse down in the corner and moved on to the next card.

I took the heart that came from the out-cut of my last card and covered it with a strip of a bunch of colors; <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/products/pop-tone-purple-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Grape Jelly</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/lavender-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Hydrangea Purple</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/aqua-12x12-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Aqua</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/surf-12x12-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Surf</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/olive-green-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Galax</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/light-yellow-12x12-cardstock" target="_blank">Light Yellow</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/coral-12x12-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Wild Salmon</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/discount-card-stock-pearlized-textured-fruit-punch-pink" target="_blank">Shimmer Fruit Punch</a>, and <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/canvas-textured-pink-cardstock" target="_blank">Pink Tutu</a>. I also decided to add a border to this card and I did that with some Aqua cardstock. I popped it up with some 3D foam and splattered a bunch of gold splatters on the card base and border and then added my rainbow heart.

I popped my cute little fuzzy guy up on 3D foam, added a little ball of yarn to him and a little saying. I thought I was done but decided to add a little speech bubble with a cut little fish and called this one done!Sarah Wyleshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00175944180069658915noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1383274353277885044.post-23033718206818424992023-07-19T06:00:00.016-07:002023-07-19T06:00:00.141-07:00So Cool Layout | Mercy Tiara Kit Club DTGood morning, everyone!! How are you doing today?? The week is halfway over, are you happy or is it going to slow?? Well for me, scrapbooking helps a little bit with the wishing that the weekend was here already lol and having a new kit to play with, helps even more!!
So today I am sharing my first layout with the June kit, <a href="https://mercytiarakits.com/products/summer-vibes-monthly-main-kit" target="_blank">Summer Vibes</a>, from Mercy Tiara kit club. And oh man is this kit soooooo worth it! I went outside of what I normally do, no white background!! I think the only white on this layout is the mat for my photos!
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNNUhKo-giR9c8XI4D_1uZ3_e-GddEcIGr2-XiRXmo8kW2q92Zg8FDhKCS_hdNfqPJS9tAXD9YEmlCoGMOfmrtP0rffDqY7ktJBpAzqncIzpmOXHm48-wPIvKWU1CAMRYJoaBEQNcU4D-HhSv7eumGiy6bLHbjlp2SFfKncGfbrHYzMRXpcTr-aYeW5RTc/s3024/687B5501-3067-4C59-8A0B-8AF54483184F.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNNUhKo-giR9c8XI4D_1uZ3_e-GddEcIGr2-XiRXmo8kW2q92Zg8FDhKCS_hdNfqPJS9tAXD9YEmlCoGMOfmrtP0rffDqY7ktJBpAzqncIzpmOXHm48-wPIvKWU1CAMRYJoaBEQNcU4D-HhSv7eumGiy6bLHbjlp2SFfKncGfbrHYzMRXpcTr-aYeW5RTc/s600/687B5501-3067-4C59-8A0B-8AF54483184F.JPEG"/></a></div>
I knew what photos I wanted to use, and that Pinkfresh Studio paper, Sun and Sand just yelled at me!! I wanted to use it as soon as I saw it. So, I grabbed it and started cutting it up. Right into the strips that were on the paper but taking out the white bits. I also love the Patina Bazill cardstock so I figured I would combine them. Honestly the most aggravating thing about this layout was my sewing machine! I ran out of thread in the middle of a line I was sewing and didn’t realize it at first, so I had to try and make sure to hit the same holes when I went back over it! Lol That was completely on me!!

Once I had that all under control, I ruffed up the edges of the paper with my nails and moved on to adding my photos. I pulled out the Simple Stories Retro summer bits and pieces along with Pinkfresh Studios floral ephemera and started to add those pieces as layers behind my pictures.

I added my title after that. This was an easy one and after making it a priority with last months kit to use the foam stickers, it was easy to do with this one too. I thought So Cool worked great for this little miss and the color was perfect too! After the title I added a few word strips and of course those beautiful sequins and called this layout done!

How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good, had to deal with some weather again so that sucked but were all here and that’s all that matters.
I am still playing with the Mercy Tiara June kit, <a href="https://mercytiarakits.com/products/monthly-main-kit-and-add-ons-june-2023" target="_blank">Brighter Days</a>. I have been absolutely loving this kit!! I also thought I would use another one of the cutfiles you get when you get your kits too.

I decided to go with quite a few photos for this layout, 8 actually. Lol I went ahead and made them into photo strips so I could stack them a little and make sure to get them all on my layout without it being to over whelming.
I sent my white cardstock through my silhouette, added a LOT of foam adhesive to the back of it and then backed it with that beautiful Pinkfresh studio, Spring Vibes, Soak it up patterned paper. I love this paper!! I rotated the paper so that the yellow part looked like it was coming out from behind where I wanted my photos to go.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYpZSW3XCfg6vQMzFaepbn3G1fpEnmLnWIOPjIQ_sc4IvAGrJ02okvt9SuRsLM9Mi-TEDjYLwrNII7cr3QfrhYs2TWssP5KT5k1wcSeon2Z85lFc09LlhlLG0j5Z41JHaxvQnUspWkDvRIL9DS1BKRBvnS6xOf7N3nQJU9qbKO5gWXRxnd9hBwsct1x0hQ/s3023/IMG_1970.heic" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3023" data-original-width="3023" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYpZSW3XCfg6vQMzFaepbn3G1fpEnmLnWIOPjIQ_sc4IvAGrJ02okvt9SuRsLM9Mi-TEDjYLwrNII7cr3QfrhYs2TWssP5KT5k1wcSeon2Z85lFc09LlhlLG0j5Z41JHaxvQnUspWkDvRIL9DS1BKRBvnS6xOf7N3nQJU9qbKO5gWXRxnd9hBwsct1x0hQ/s600/IMG_1970.heic"/></a></div>
I added that to the right side of my layout and then went to working on my photos and the clusters that I was going to put around them lol

I pulled bits and pieces from pretty much every ephemera pack or sticker sheet there was in the kit and ephemera add on. I had fun cutting things in half and sliding them here and there, layering other bits on top. I added foam behind the photos that were on the left and then added some foam stickers there too.

Once I had everything where I wanted, I pulled out my typewriter and did my journaling. I cut that all down and added it to the left side of my layout and then decided I wanted to add some of the enamel dots and then I called this layout done!

How are you?? Well I wanted to share a quick but oh so pretty card with you today that I made for Cut Cardstock. I wasn't sure where I was going with this card at first, or that it was even going to be a card. I had pulled some flower dies and wanted to play with them so I did. I wasnt sure what I was going to do, like i said, so I cut the flowers out with <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/cougar-white-discount-card-stock" target="_blank">white cardstock</a>, man I was confused with it too to be honest lol. I stacked it together and found out how it was supposed to stack and then marked on the backs of each piece.

I pulled out my saltwater taffy distress oxide and started blending on the floral pieces from the outside in. After I got the flower pieces the way i liked, I added a little green to the leafs and a but of 2 different yellows to the center and went to using my roller tool to make the sides stick up some.

I grabbed some white cardstock and cut it down to a 4x5 1/4, ran it through my sizzix with an embossing folder, then again with a circle die to cut a place out for my flower. Once I had that, everything was ready except I needed a card base. So I ran through all the colors I had and thought the <a href="I%20grabbed%20some%20white%20cardstock%20and%20cut%20it%20down%20to%20a%204x5%201/4,%20ran%20it%20through%20my%20sizzix%20with%20an%20embossing%20folder,%20then%20again%20with%20a%20circle%20die%20to%20cut%20a%20place%20out%20for%20my%20flower.%20Once%20I%20had%20that,%20everything%20was%20ready%20except%20I%20needed%20a%20card%20base.%20So%20I%20ran%20through%20all%20the%20colors%20I%20had%20and%20thought%20the%20Surf%20cardstock%20looked%20great.%20There%20was%20a%20great%20contrast%20and%20it%20made%20the%20flower%20pop." target="_blank">Surf cardstock</a> looked great. There was a great contrast and it made the flower pop.

There is so much in them!! I can’t believe after 7 layouts I still have so much left! I decided I was going to go a little different route with this layout. I started with the pictures and one of the foam sticker titles and that’s it. I liked the color if the title so I thought I would go with pinky/ coral colors and yellows. So, I went through the kit and started to pull things in those colors. When I was done with that, I had quite a bit!
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIGSkywyJYBLUf2WetjhIf5KA3CLXmEkGBQGw0yiAlKhyOvI2907NmKmnkOFp_SNq922pEu6paKrGp-uDGdta52ZKIctSZglaq9gd3P8AHikr-yNjJkHd-OF4KAq5c2DmxTx7EHPySKOr_jU6d8HQ1VykxxwrRU9p_hAHm21h7rocy4HpBRr6IpWPhMmlf/s3024/95A0F5AF-E961-4321-9D9A-96A844E8598D.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIGSkywyJYBLUf2WetjhIf5KA3CLXmEkGBQGw0yiAlKhyOvI2907NmKmnkOFp_SNq922pEu6paKrGp-uDGdta52ZKIctSZglaq9gd3P8AHikr-yNjJkHd-OF4KAq5c2DmxTx7EHPySKOr_jU6d8HQ1VykxxwrRU9p_hAHm21h7rocy4HpBRr6IpWPhMmlf/s600/95A0F5AF-E961-4321-9D9A-96A844E8598D.JPEG"/></a></div>
I added a little glue to the backs of my photos when I got them the way I liked and then started to play with layering behind them. Before I started sticking any of that down I decided that I wanted to add a little mixed media to the background. My saltwater taffy was a little too pink so I added a little crackling campfire to it and it worked just fine.

While that was drying, I started to glue the layers together behind my photos. I added 3d foam to the back of my photos before adding some of the paper layers and ruffing up the edges. I got a couple layers in and decided to add more 3d foam for some more dimension. This way I could tuck a little more in there and there too.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjM4v809XvAEDfCYnDVjAWukEXc7QP2XHTvUMLsU2cRM8Hd4MESzikrMMmIdfyW0pYIxEl9VvKOfra1pPRcwFeAKMuCl2tNLwUE7pql9nr-Gg18DwPb0yj7XU3O3I0OW7nGvsOxNiNzfqSd4A_0MIUXfIVFgKZvP0o2FMGMV-lj90wjn-g3MGyFctA7pRWw/s3024/57901397-FAD6-45D1-9459-C16B63E75DDD.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjM4v809XvAEDfCYnDVjAWukEXc7QP2XHTvUMLsU2cRM8Hd4MESzikrMMmIdfyW0pYIxEl9VvKOfra1pPRcwFeAKMuCl2tNLwUE7pql9nr-Gg18DwPb0yj7XU3O3I0OW7nGvsOxNiNzfqSd4A_0MIUXfIVFgKZvP0o2FMGMV-lj90wjn-g3MGyFctA7pRWw/s600/57901397-FAD6-45D1-9459-C16B63E75DDD.JPEG"/></a></div>
I played with the different pieces I had pulled. I loved the little moths! I added a little foam to them too and popped them on here and there. I tucked a label in towards the top, little word stickers that made me think of my little miss and then I moved on to the title and my journaling.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXzvBk0sGKEZJGmqtkEm3NIElWVBRpsxbLdYvNHQkOE8CDIeCGmXb5eSWYeS6ZyWxbaVAPspKFkqDUOBmkrwVVOlDOzOOgZDcppHkrRbe9-cBOIdY3N8yHtULVKiHos9iXn6_Mxn1IgHzMvpvi0DFhh7KHOkNEuARNN-mtQ9jBNoJNMbAlCCnwIX-qPfkH/s3024/2976DC26-2D06-46CA-B54F-3894BA608F05.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXzvBk0sGKEZJGmqtkEm3NIElWVBRpsxbLdYvNHQkOE8CDIeCGmXb5eSWYeS6ZyWxbaVAPspKFkqDUOBmkrwVVOlDOzOOgZDcppHkrRbe9-cBOIdY3N8yHtULVKiHos9iXn6_Mxn1IgHzMvpvi0DFhh7KHOkNEuARNN-mtQ9jBNoJNMbAlCCnwIX-qPfkH/s600/2976DC26-2D06-46CA-B54F-3894BA608F05.JPEG"/></a></div>
To finish the layout off, I had already added some mixed media to the bottom right side too, so that I could add another cluster of pretties. So, I went to layering some of the labels, tucking a happy days chipboard piece, adding some dimension and tucking a glower in, popping up a moth and then adding a few enamel dots around the layout and I was done!

I’m here this morning to share another new layout with you using the Mercy Tiara Brighter days kit. This kit just keeps giving and giving! I have been having so much fun playing with it, and I still have more projects to share!!
This layout is about me, and all the journaling is hidden, but I have been trying to be better about writing down the story, even if everyone else can’t read it.
I really started this layout with the picture, the foam sticker title and a piece of white cardstock.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimV8PD21BtUeLX9KBVxJGmm63nDlhwC1efEnk80q_99XoimgbJ6c5SrcJVpOZVY8I7XNQ5oNP__a82UiH7SfrZJ-RTGGnzakrool_D24Uvc9QKn7ewu9WO6USVQow4bmOBUUTuCytxsgB11X_GMbwm6AiwMZZx3Ajdl2TBSZmyYHlx5efLsN-o0qmzHQ/s2823/Discover.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="2823" data-original-width="2823" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimV8PD21BtUeLX9KBVxJGmm63nDlhwC1efEnk80q_99XoimgbJ6c5SrcJVpOZVY8I7XNQ5oNP__a82UiH7SfrZJ-RTGGnzakrool_D24Uvc9QKn7ewu9WO6USVQow4bmOBUUTuCytxsgB11X_GMbwm6AiwMZZx3Ajdl2TBSZmyYHlx5efLsN-o0qmzHQ/s600/Discover.JPEG"/></a></div>
I cut multiple flowers out from the cut files you get when you purchase your kit, I thought since I was doing a layout about me, I could use the pretty flower cut files and flower paper too lol.
I pulled the floral paper, it’s from the Flea Market collection from Simple Stories, You’re my fave paper. I knew I wanted to use that, come on its soooo pretty!! Then I pulled different papers that I thought would go with it, some other patterned papers and some that I considered plain or can be used as one for me at least.

I added layers behind my photo, after adding a white boarder of course. I added adhesive foam for dimension and played with the papers till I got them just how I wanted them. I ran some of them threw my sewing machine, added more 3d adhesive and ruffed up the edges. I tucked the pretty flower cut file behind my layers there so that some of it would be sticking out and showing. At this point I hadn’t adhered down my photo and its layers.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9_p74LVYPtAdoghHjg2aX5FqkK_mBidkTRpxhmEy5-JKo4sg83uWwnUAWSffjYU0x6A51x1m-JbdeawyJ-253jW-kul97q6Lb_gAyXyr9KgBQlXaicFmqIwaZQsMNYK6pe-9Nlu3fZ9uFiYomWxWZyACgcm1r4_c_HFr11cvlRW4eonT4ZMfYFc2_ug/s3024/CF415AE4-290D-4DE9-A731-4115B4AB090C.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9_p74LVYPtAdoghHjg2aX5FqkK_mBidkTRpxhmEy5-JKo4sg83uWwnUAWSffjYU0x6A51x1m-JbdeawyJ-253jW-kul97q6Lb_gAyXyr9KgBQlXaicFmqIwaZQsMNYK6pe-9Nlu3fZ9uFiYomWxWZyACgcm1r4_c_HFr11cvlRW4eonT4ZMfYFc2_ug/s600/CF415AE4-290D-4DE9-A731-4115B4AB090C.JPEG"/></a></div>
I cut a 3-inch strip of that beautiful floral paper and added it to the bottom of my layout and ran it through my sewing machine. I played with the same papers form the ones I used behind my photo; I used the same ones on the bottom. But I didn’t stick them down right away. I decided I wanted to play with a little mixed media and get a bit more of that darker teal color on the page. So, I did. I added a “puddle” behind my photo and its layers and hidden journaling, then I added some to the bottom of the layout where I had picked my title to go.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZJ8bOWWc_-hWe18U2DJ5GoflJ_RM03uD4CAvUK1s5FtGXkjo5D3tWLyL3zvaW6S6S_w_byPKPi43qrVxw6DDWGHixNLlLcs5YpfTzKxQY-F4DJjoDGD1VAKKncJzGTmEq8ujWesH42y--nmKVgW7OfTmG7Jj6o1B_qlFyc9GJrRfSlambHD3V6lNjzA/s3024/FF031B5B-A45A-4385-96E9-1C01A767CC68.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZJ8bOWWc_-hWe18U2DJ5GoflJ_RM03uD4CAvUK1s5FtGXkjo5D3tWLyL3zvaW6S6S_w_byPKPi43qrVxw6DDWGHixNLlLcs5YpfTzKxQY-F4DJjoDGD1VAKKncJzGTmEq8ujWesH42y--nmKVgW7OfTmG7Jj6o1B_qlFyc9GJrRfSlambHD3V6lNjzA/s600/FF031B5B-A45A-4385-96E9-1C01A767CC68.JPEG"/></a></div>
I added some splatter around the layout too, waited for everything to dry and then stated adhering things down! I tucked some labels behind my title and in those layers I had already made, I slid some foam florals in up by my photo and a cute little camera too!
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFYl7YPUkLjzwfVgprtmHhGCkdDyBzcbdut860H2H5gEqUNIZbMpWkYAybxBg1EYvBu4JCcDehIEds3rplQmGuBNKPT7Z2N-BFUzuvSxk_NlGie2_eFOmKyOiKgCS3a6qtwNHYm51LpsbqYlYK0-P1DB8veR6Jg50ssbZopf8_xEKG2OYrmN1J2henGQ/s3024/E0DA8862-30AF-453A-B624-2D6E36946F3C.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFYl7YPUkLjzwfVgprtmHhGCkdDyBzcbdut860H2H5gEqUNIZbMpWkYAybxBg1EYvBu4JCcDehIEds3rplQmGuBNKPT7Z2N-BFUzuvSxk_NlGie2_eFOmKyOiKgCS3a6qtwNHYm51LpsbqYlYK0-P1DB8veR6Jg50ssbZopf8_xEKG2OYrmN1J2henGQ/s600/E0DA8862-30AF-453A-B624-2D6E36946F3C.JPEG"/></a></div>
I tucked in some of the pretty vellum leaves, a life is beautiful banner to the right of my photo, and I decided I was done with layout.
I have a question?? Do you show all your journaling where everyone can see it, or do you hide some of yours too? When it’s something personal?
I hope you enjoyed this layout, and I hope you come back to check out more!! How are you this morning? I’m doing pretty good, getting crafty lol
I wanted to share another layout with y’all using the <a href="https://mercytiarakits.com/products/monthly-main-kit-and-add-ons-june-2023" target="_blank">Brighter Days kit</a> by Mercy Tiara Kits. I am seriously loving this kit!! There are two papers now that I have completely cut up, but having the paper add on made it easier for me to do!
I knew exactly what picture I was scrapping for this layout so grabbing papers was where I needed to start. And I wanted bright colors, so no white background this time.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7IAelMr54jaJrQ5FpsX_rSvn15C-P1WfN_p_dHgpYyb31CU-HqyZyucvKvqarEvIPEEB8gVGSYLvFpwSut3lJ-qvABOEkwm9gK_9Xo9FshCP18WE_jrJEzkoMItOZZcB8o6l-ZUJk-1DRof9pWzZ1u_xSNT9Qz6JGOOtFAQnJuUVlOKflCyXUpskOd83x/s2859/5E3A3827-AB87-454F-8FFB-DCC7300067F9.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="2859" data-original-width="2859" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7IAelMr54jaJrQ5FpsX_rSvn15C-P1WfN_p_dHgpYyb31CU-HqyZyucvKvqarEvIPEEB8gVGSYLvFpwSut3lJ-qvABOEkwm9gK_9Xo9FshCP18WE_jrJEzkoMItOZZcB8o6l-ZUJk-1DRof9pWzZ1u_xSNT9Qz6JGOOtFAQnJuUVlOKflCyXUpskOd83x/s600/5E3A3827-AB87-454F-8FFB-DCC7300067F9.JPEG"/></a></div>
I had a hard time with this one, I love all the papers in the kit, but I finally decided on the Tell the story paper. I though the light pink would be nice, and I could use bolder paper on top without it being TOO busy.
I have had a problem cutting up the flower paper, Your my fave, but I decided to go with it and ripped it down! I have an issue with wasting stuff, so I flipped over the extra piece and slid it under the flower paper and loved the way it looked so I cut another piece down and slid it under the bottom side too.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGOx4jE8Bk49ycfc_kmO4pk4MOvvc6qgie05Sbx3mPs21y--24vH1A8KSV_XWsgO9PQ0075815SWs0wHWO_HnyEJpjQ0T6oDmgaH8hvDsxgSyFRJFQHTB-Aj2N5iD1tmoyIRKmUNzvotkv4lTX5JX96GA5oamxtrBdzNA9aMIkJr2wZSL2rNo7A7jji7xl/s3024/4D980690-E1E4-4C23-8AA0-A4E543A0D07B.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGOx4jE8Bk49ycfc_kmO4pk4MOvvc6qgie05Sbx3mPs21y--24vH1A8KSV_XWsgO9PQ0075815SWs0wHWO_HnyEJpjQ0T6oDmgaH8hvDsxgSyFRJFQHTB-Aj2N5iD1tmoyIRKmUNzvotkv4lTX5JX96GA5oamxtrBdzNA9aMIkJr2wZSL2rNo7A7jji7xl/s600/4D980690-E1E4-4C23-8AA0-A4E543A0D07B.JPEG"/></a></div>
So, for me the main part of this layout was done. I knew where my photo was going and that left everywhere else to put my title, journaling and all my pretties!
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjtYP_nBdbCvkpsVenagISS9O-scuwUFZ2PMa43b_EajIzBKcRTerBwmJakKMcKzr16ON2obtAMT-mA5i5iHvCTq2Fa4jEW40FNjnRH5HI8lv30OZ5JmGCb6A56JomHSL4gg406dphvyYOBwk--EZOy3dKAUVTFiXDq1sae8xbyG1J0_HPpQNN9gAeGG7r/s2964/409845EF-E2F0-4D69-B7E1-D417E0831607.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="2964" data-original-width="2964" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjtYP_nBdbCvkpsVenagISS9O-scuwUFZ2PMa43b_EajIzBKcRTerBwmJakKMcKzr16ON2obtAMT-mA5i5iHvCTq2Fa4jEW40FNjnRH5HI8lv30OZ5JmGCb6A56JomHSL4gg406dphvyYOBwk--EZOy3dKAUVTFiXDq1sae8xbyG1J0_HPpQNN9gAeGG7r/s600/409845EF-E2F0-4D69-B7E1-D417E0831607.JPEG"/></a></div>
I pulled out the container that I put all my fussy cut Woodland Grove gold foiled paper and started sliding the florals behind different layers, behind my photo and then at the bottom right end too. I pulled out my typewriter and did my journaling, this way I knew how much journaling I had and where I needed to put it so I could add more to my layout.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv9-zCGxPcp6Ox0puZHWzj7-J1YLqDIzM8syKpyzhCz9j2eVQq72Krn4sMy-0UxHEFXS7wCqKT2zsp_580vwyN16pc2TqO9BMfOK-ar4UyJPTju-axwrmItFYbNz5TC5YtfHvRwOYPcH-MuSDTLDFSlt6Wmg0JD_tdVsuGzfsKYiuAmYE-tbbYx0f8KV12/s3024/7E71A795-3D05-4B46-9785-1B676E032A1C.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv9-zCGxPcp6Ox0puZHWzj7-J1YLqDIzM8syKpyzhCz9j2eVQq72Krn4sMy-0UxHEFXS7wCqKT2zsp_580vwyN16pc2TqO9BMfOK-ar4UyJPTju-axwrmItFYbNz5TC5YtfHvRwOYPcH-MuSDTLDFSlt6Wmg0JD_tdVsuGzfsKYiuAmYE-tbbYx0f8KV12/s600/7E71A795-3D05-4B46-9785-1B676E032A1C.JPEG"/></a></div>
I have been trying to finish off the foam sticker sheet cause they are usually hard for me to use, so I had picked that to be something I was shooting to finish completely with this kit. So, I picked my title and placed it. There was a good area for it and the white around it made it stand out a bit.
I popped my photo up and slid a few more flowers under it, part of a frame and a cute little word ephemera piece and moved on to tucking things here and there.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRjwjNtVkVbGMf7uR-EJJA5MD8fT0wH41MCgQL2j4a4InY9T8zD5UvZ4uTq4nTxovU9obsOqEaQ9_GgV64wMzneTmK4a9GPytjFY-YiHdkrcwETVngF2jv6noTQO3rxCo-4K92J9AAVwljofsqXX6ltgcB6mHOKhYwRUmj-pIl55SWT_JiJvLEexrwbwDA/s3024/67281880-1884-4A1E-8808-296A045C3CAA.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRjwjNtVkVbGMf7uR-EJJA5MD8fT0wH41MCgQL2j4a4InY9T8zD5UvZ4uTq4nTxovU9obsOqEaQ9_GgV64wMzneTmK4a9GPytjFY-YiHdkrcwETVngF2jv6noTQO3rxCo-4K92J9AAVwljofsqXX6ltgcB6mHOKhYwRUmj-pIl55SWT_JiJvLEexrwbwDA/s600/67281880-1884-4A1E-8808-296A045C3CAA.JPEG"/></a></div>
I didn’t fully glue down my flowers that I’d fussy cut cause I wanted them to stick up a bit and I also still wanted the option to slide a few things under them or in them too. The Pinkfresh vellum pieces were too cute so those are a few of the things I slid in with my fussy cut florals. I added some word stickers here and there that when with my layout and that was it for this layout!
I hope you enjoyed this layout and I hope you come back for more inspiration! Make sure to check out the <a href="https://mercytiarakits.com/" target="_blank">Mercy Tiara kit club site</a> too so you see the past kits, what’s still available and what the new kit is!!

Maybe saw my previous post? Lol Well I wanted to pop on this morning and share a 2nd project, but this one is for the Cut Cardstock design team.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsFdVprR4i2kQT3gaoJabikNbDVd_56muos6ZP1bvz_5X33tz41lT05HtLN9BLwnZQkcUZSHIm_cZL1RVRcFBOR6K0NJEsqLCYr9u-LinidJQI9cuzxPvvSHpJamRxYlaiKb3iBghPbgRSQWtNVot8yh9Y9ywHGi5URhduNV6YJS5YSpHV9AKPBPNewypi/s2865/9E0E6E48-A5A9-419B-80F8-CFA64BFBBF06.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="2865" data-original-width="2865" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsFdVprR4i2kQT3gaoJabikNbDVd_56muos6ZP1bvz_5X33tz41lT05HtLN9BLwnZQkcUZSHIm_cZL1RVRcFBOR6K0NJEsqLCYr9u-LinidJQI9cuzxPvvSHpJamRxYlaiKb3iBghPbgRSQWtNVot8yh9Y9ywHGi5URhduNV6YJS5YSpHV9AKPBPNewypi/s600/9E0E6E48-A5A9-419B-80F8-CFA64BFBBF06.JPEG"/></a></div>
I made these two cat/love theme cards and I really tried to use everything, even if I just cut something out of it or scraps. So, starting, I used a piece of <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/products/cougar-white-discount-card-stock" target="_blank">white cardstock</a>, ran it through my sizzix with a hear die. I decided I wanted to use the part that would be the full card front.
I pulled out my bin that I keep all my cut Cardstock off cuts, I realized I had a bit of each color, so I decided to make the heart be a rainbow. I love rainbow pretty much anything, so how could I not? Lol I got the cardstock in the order I wanted them, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/products/pop-tone-purple-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Grape Jelly</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/lavender-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Hydrangea Purple</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/aqua-12x12-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Aqua</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/products/surf-12x12-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Surf</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/olive-green-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Galax</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/light-yellow-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Light Yellow</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/coral-12x12-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Wild Salmon</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/discount-card-stock-pearlized-textured-fruit-punch-pink" target="_blank">Shimmer Fruit Punch</a> and <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/canvas-textured-pink-cardstock" target="_blank">Pink Tutu</a>. I adhered them all from the back, flipped it over and grabbed my kitties I had stamped and colored previously. I played with them till I decided on one of the cute little kitties. I added some adhesive foam to the back of it and stuck it down. I pulled out my I knead you stamp set from My favorite things and stamped my sentiment, added my outlining to it and then to the rest of the card, popped a little mouse on top of my sentiment and call this one done. But I wanted to use the heart that was left over, so I started another card.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhx4Y3AmqlVV8_tGcHPl7mfiEEhomLKzBZKLEA8E96IRr6COGyGgrX8MGE9QVcrc5bD1DLN_MBYuHqYRAMwkWjx5j-5wgwOHV0tDboedXPGAT5z_ieIMjALs6RMnrUAWoH7vugDxMqDMu4_bFSDBdjxpMKqlRba7OJwyQgSSLsQR4mMCOb0g3ok2LbZLgYn/s3024/E26B15AD-7F99-4413-A804-56FF82C4A6B7.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhx4Y3AmqlVV8_tGcHPl7mfiEEhomLKzBZKLEA8E96IRr6COGyGgrX8MGE9QVcrc5bD1DLN_MBYuHqYRAMwkWjx5j-5wgwOHV0tDboedXPGAT5z_ieIMjALs6RMnrUAWoH7vugDxMqDMu4_bFSDBdjxpMKqlRba7OJwyQgSSLsQR4mMCOb0g3ok2LbZLgYn/s600/E26B15AD-7F99-4413-A804-56FF82C4A6B7.JPEG"/></a></div>
I added a little removable adhesive to the back of the heart and stickit down onto a scrap piece of paper, place my stencil over the top where I wanted it, used some washi to keep it where I wanted and started to blend my blues out. I grabbed another piece of white cardstock that I ran through my sizzix in a small, dotted embosser, I added some adhesive foam to the back of the heart and stuck it down. I had already stamped a second saying when I stamped the one for my last card, so I cut it and had It ready to stick to my card. I went through my pile of kitties I had stamped and chose a little orange cat and a ball of yarn and placed it to the left side of the heart and then added my sentiment and another cute little mouse. I thought it was a little too much white on the background, so I decided to add some blue splatters and called these done!

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7O7g7VTxPuLwnaWE0oKhAB6H-dZX2xpvBaVpZNHtiD1pJaIMnHRM3Kw8IQZsUEtkOuzVSRB3DZSbVK12Zo9EaxSvRg7jI8Q8qNVf59rxfCqaFDZFIYDLHLHlf8-HdPs5bCsD0IDP1LGrmJArhr4WYgbEINPSoPSRLkSge5rWENRp-z_06rREWHL2_SA/s2790/YesPlease.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="2790" data-original-width="2790" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7O7g7VTxPuLwnaWE0oKhAB6H-dZX2xpvBaVpZNHtiD1pJaIMnHRM3Kw8IQZsUEtkOuzVSRB3DZSbVK12Zo9EaxSvRg7jI8Q8qNVf59rxfCqaFDZFIYDLHLHlf8-HdPs5bCsD0IDP1LGrmJArhr4WYgbEINPSoPSRLkSge5rWENRp-z_06rREWHL2_SA/s600/YesPlease.JPEG"/></a></div>
I started this layout with my pictures I chose, my white cardstock background and the plaid for my boarder. I decided up front I wanted a boarder on this one, I trimmed my white cardstock down and added the boarder up front. I knew I wanted to use the Pinkfresh Studio paper from the delightful collection called Full Color. It’s so bright and pretty, kind of reminds me of Q-bert lol, showing my age! But I didn’t want to use to much cause it’s so bright, I’ll get there!! I pulled other papers that I thought I would use.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-_Bm-In9e72pURsOqYs0N5ai89uzayIBnmqeGY9CRPaEzW0Zi5-6_JdBgr9jySEvTINK_Z-DAjxw-gXOd4ROlpv96Oxs1cMPXChi1r9-mnatoXRiadnfDZBM609v9dbR6FsCqN3J9qQIChZu59WRwhs8HLZOji0JrXmKrUw2BgReFChhGy0PMhzszVQ/s3024/599E438C-6D64-4478-8F8B-A8CCF809017D.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-_Bm-In9e72pURsOqYs0N5ai89uzayIBnmqeGY9CRPaEzW0Zi5-6_JdBgr9jySEvTINK_Z-DAjxw-gXOd4ROlpv96Oxs1cMPXChi1r9-mnatoXRiadnfDZBM609v9dbR6FsCqN3J9qQIChZu59WRwhs8HLZOji0JrXmKrUw2BgReFChhGy0PMhzszVQ/s600/599E438C-6D64-4478-8F8B-A8CCF809017D.JPEG"/></a></div>
I backed my photos with more white cardstock, decided I didn’t want a bunch of layers behind my photos, so I started to cut strips. Fussy cutting the edges of the Full Color paper, putting another strip through a punch from my stash and then added a few more and making sure I had some for the bottom of my layout too, so I could make a cluster there too.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-MJfupPZkaoLIsbvcKocEde6PE6fjf09aKwn_Z50L95faW67M4WBfVJ-bl4OUiLZ-C-8szEx7OC4nbJfgDDq_KzFuWraPezB49RyphFHY2QdHJkU2gOjwjmeyAnM40QM5SDnqNHWI_fTNA2inP1r28JbBSXt_v4XGidPr5fCG2FYqmCn7XQwdH67Krw/s3024/BA33D2C9-01F6-49AE-89B9-4C01A129CF64.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-MJfupPZkaoLIsbvcKocEde6PE6fjf09aKwn_Z50L95faW67M4WBfVJ-bl4OUiLZ-C-8szEx7OC4nbJfgDDq_KzFuWraPezB49RyphFHY2QdHJkU2gOjwjmeyAnM40QM5SDnqNHWI_fTNA2inP1r28JbBSXt_v4XGidPr5fCG2FYqmCn7XQwdH67Krw/s600/BA33D2C9-01F6-49AE-89B9-4C01A129CF64.JPEG"/></a></div>
Like I had said, I’m really trying to use the foam titles from the kit, so I had pulled the Yes, Please and used that for my title. I placed it to the left of my layout, on the picture of my girls after I had figured out how I wanted my little paper strips.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhf6Pwj_5dyEuZtK6U4Add4MfRmO4tGDG8v-9kmKtpFakixLm6Hya731vm3GoR-jhQTfFktxjlPKfq7CHLSkBztS_-JC2-Hn7VHB5-4jevi3lcvG5VJzkJtuQdOemfUluVigMTikJDFve76QfDkr5gTS7vyqTNXVgiuU0o3niOUQrb4H6bxRg7BNhGng/s3024/B1F02968-0D42-4BC0-9BCE-F10434ADED61.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhf6Pwj_5dyEuZtK6U4Add4MfRmO4tGDG8v-9kmKtpFakixLm6Hya731vm3GoR-jhQTfFktxjlPKfq7CHLSkBztS_-JC2-Hn7VHB5-4jevi3lcvG5VJzkJtuQdOemfUluVigMTikJDFve76QfDkr5gTS7vyqTNXVgiuU0o3niOUQrb4H6bxRg7BNhGng/s600/B1F02968-0D42-4BC0-9BCE-F10434ADED61.JPEG"/></a></div>
Then I pulled out the embellishments from the main kit and the ephemera add on and started pulling things I thought I would use. I have to say, I also did some fussy cutting from 2 papers in the kit. I ended up with quite a few round pieces I can use and a whole page of labels!! And I love labels!! Lol I slid a few of the circles, plates lol, behind a tag that said this, tucked a label in with my strip layers and moved onto the bottom right corner for my cluster.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqdBve5uF3fZPaNXmRDsqdMU9FvnzieQvBKqWxyBtrFwci-uGu8lgo7xMEUX8tAJY89K5xU8ICaXUlKUcleW5Jr8wYPp1s_4V1Y59ukCeRkCZPdtCk-OjASRCXAGWb81GV0b_D8LjYt81Js3fES3yiAfgE6xC7nPfTCuEV0_TAAYxSBQne4HJkqOX1Ng/s3024/42D8D99D-62F4-469A-B30E-90C432F95366.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqdBve5uF3fZPaNXmRDsqdMU9FvnzieQvBKqWxyBtrFwci-uGu8lgo7xMEUX8tAJY89K5xU8ICaXUlKUcleW5Jr8wYPp1s_4V1Y59ukCeRkCZPdtCk-OjASRCXAGWb81GV0b_D8LjYt81Js3fES3yiAfgE6xC7nPfTCuEV0_TAAYxSBQne4HJkqOX1Ng/s600/42D8D99D-62F4-469A-B30E-90C432F95366.JPEG"/></a></div>
I added pap-er strips to the bottom right, along with some circle stickers, labels, and a few other ephemera pieces. I decided I wanted to add some of those pretty gold butterflies and sequins. I added those, splattered some HeidiShine and called this layout good!

I'm back again this weeek to share another layout made with the Brighter Days kit form the Mercy Tiara Kit Club!!.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvELzkki94V13KjUVIcqf5VYe4WJIgFr6wCM7kO4p1neorKfZed3s5lJqM29_neytGS97GIW4p1boH7rcYbzgXE-eSBwsBg1e_tfakZ6LcYR8h6bnwqJmk12TEQl-ThKG5Wc56_H5j6-cJqcIr9fPJ9NSbcHCqPAkqTLzYQFWfjyEWztJYZOldYywQPA/s2736/AmazingGirls.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="2736" data-original-width="2736" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvELzkki94V13KjUVIcqf5VYe4WJIgFr6wCM7kO4p1neorKfZed3s5lJqM29_neytGS97GIW4p1boH7rcYbzgXE-eSBwsBg1e_tfakZ6LcYR8h6bnwqJmk12TEQl-ThKG5Wc56_H5j6-cJqcIr9fPJ9NSbcHCqPAkqTLzYQFWfjyEWztJYZOldYywQPA/s600/AmazingGirls.JPEG"/></a></div>
I started this layout by picking my photos. I knew what ones I wanted to use, so I grabbed them. I pulled papers from the kit and started to back my photos anf get them in the configuration I knew I wanted and then remembered I had these beautiful cutfiles I could use!! Soooo, of course I pulled out my cutty machine, added the papers I wanted to use, patterned paper and some white cardstock and let it cut the rainbow and flower out.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir-KNjEWcvCf4r3FiVYJD-po2P32w59oQoD7hQbezInM7qkmXJoSoWN_N8uIUMV0jCxGK6HFM5ISqcsUaFE89bTVxC3mWpSs6W3xvhcoZ_jXlC69bNsx7I7y2pNLDd2wo60azQeEUx6TLbsZ9yHd5Vx1-5yN3dhSHlDaif-03hUb5t-uMX10SXCojrNQ/s3024/F5E256B2-5059-482E-9F14-3E3BB9B39207.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir-KNjEWcvCf4r3FiVYJD-po2P32w59oQoD7hQbezInM7qkmXJoSoWN_N8uIUMV0jCxGK6HFM5ISqcsUaFE89bTVxC3mWpSs6W3xvhcoZ_jXlC69bNsx7I7y2pNLDd2wo60azQeEUx6TLbsZ9yHd5Vx1-5yN3dhSHlDaif-03hUb5t-uMX10SXCojrNQ/s600/F5E256B2-5059-482E-9F14-3E3BB9B39207.JPEG"/></a></div>
I decided to put the rainbow on the left side of my layout and everything towards the top because of the way the girls were looking. It just seemed to fit for me. So I added the rainbos down, and then added the flower behind my photos to just add a little more dimension and I thought it looked nice too.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnIIfYQjD2LgHFYw52Fc3u31Zm8dHvOSXjhqWKPqR8d55aIz9yLlWbBgBjnk7I_dJ5TggV42VLlaWr2sI9nwFQWK2--r3JBij9UjEuYRfd8ubBes1YUA_M6rBpofZsAIsC5VnGf0fdI0HtiqaGznrE8uWGzZHOXuH21ZPuk6fElEz1vYNrGce4NLoMKQ/s3024/24884249-7460-4492-8B2A-987DFEF11523.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnIIfYQjD2LgHFYw52Fc3u31Zm8dHvOSXjhqWKPqR8d55aIz9yLlWbBgBjnk7I_dJ5TggV42VLlaWr2sI9nwFQWK2--r3JBij9UjEuYRfd8ubBes1YUA_M6rBpofZsAIsC5VnGf0fdI0HtiqaGznrE8uWGzZHOXuH21ZPuk6fElEz1vYNrGce4NLoMKQ/s600/24884249-7460-4492-8B2A-987DFEF11523.JPEG"/></a></div>
Once I had the area around my photos the way I wanted, I added my title, one of the large fome stickers from the Flea Market collection, I dont tend to use these but this year I have been trying to make my self step out of my own box. But it worked perfect for my title, along with some of the amazing thickers in the kit too!! I love these Eclair foam thickers!! I layered some of the little bits and bobs form the embellishment under my title and I thought I was done, but I decided to cut my layout down and add a boarder for some more color. I'm glad I did, I like it so much better. I also decided to run the edges of my white Cardstock threw my sewing machine and the rainbow too.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmaoP48a-DvR3YdpdBQvxfUxoqFoG6vLpLTCA5JaanHn-35xTAuxQVN0wwNDocwLSMuGdlvGng-9EJidR3kENekJ-6jHc3B8FHSz6o9x0e6kna0OXUCpr4n_8IQaAGBPkIL0c7HUBelYXf74IBmYcoVxbqMBfXzxH5A44kiSZTpAhIhhaBEwq5tsnJ7Q/s3024/2D99083E-9EDC-47FA-B4CC-9AD6C5CDB327.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmaoP48a-DvR3YdpdBQvxfUxoqFoG6vLpLTCA5JaanHn-35xTAuxQVN0wwNDocwLSMuGdlvGng-9EJidR3kENekJ-6jHc3B8FHSz6o9x0e6kna0OXUCpr4n_8IQaAGBPkIL0c7HUBelYXf74IBmYcoVxbqMBfXzxH5A44kiSZTpAhIhhaBEwq5tsnJ7Q/s600/2D99083E-9EDC-47FA-B4CC-9AD6C5CDB327.JPEG"/></a></div>
I popped up a few of the stars from the cut file and then added some Heidi Swapp gold color shine from my stash, added some of the beautiful exclusive sequins here and there. Pulled out my typewriter, typed up my journaling, added it to my layout and called this one good!!
I hope you enjoyed this layout, and I hope you come back to check out more!! How ya been doing? Well today I wanted to pop in and share a few cards I made using cardstock from CutCardstock, distressed oxides from my stash, a few number stencils and a great background stamp from Hero Arts.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibv1bvYE7p9ZukjLQyWJeriyxQ28_44BThL9YGeftGkgzrCncGsRtrAYL-UQQVfwGRisCYHvCTjRkebF0Dsym5G5IIW_8DnZUujYC2glj0dO33lKBtasdhjVXFrWOyYPkT1K6jMZ6yRErCILUnazgmnWMUa1lYgU3yqSfVtsMoATPnKnXzyDyvsLWDbso9/s2691/66BA6FD0-50DD-4E27-B947-88868B319C26.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" height="600" data-original-height="2691" data-original-width="2688" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibv1bvYE7p9ZukjLQyWJeriyxQ28_44BThL9YGeftGkgzrCncGsRtrAYL-UQQVfwGRisCYHvCTjRkebF0Dsym5G5IIW_8DnZUujYC2glj0dO33lKBtasdhjVXFrWOyYPkT1K6jMZ6yRErCILUnazgmnWMUa1lYgU3yqSfVtsMoATPnKnXzyDyvsLWDbso9/s600/66BA6FD0-50DD-4E27-B947-88868B319C26.JPEG"/></a></div>
I started my cards with <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/cougar-white-discount-card-stock" target="_blank">white cardstock</a>, I cut both pieces down to 4x5 ¼ so that when I put them on a card base, the color from the card would show as a boarder. I put the white paper into my Misti with a little removable adhesive on the back and then I laid my stencil over the top with a little adhesive on it as well so that I could blend my distressed oxides over the top without having the stencil move.
When it comes to the #7 card, I decided to use darker colored inks to stamp over the top of everything with the hero arts background stamp. Once I had the background stamped, I decided that the seven didn't stand out well enough, so I attempted to go around it with a white gel pin and didn't quite like the looks of it, so I went ahead and grabbed my black Micron out and went around the seven and then the outside portion of the card as well.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFuQSVGnKVS8Lg4o4cOg8vCLM9kqdSh-ZG8_Q_WvlH00WbNQxgvAolyW6ByM8EbgUNxF6zdaqEYtvIM1gB1-C3TyC6x8Xiy24Y2HC4Z8Aok5BAMLgv7kXYgsugF572VTInj2hgJxNWla_cj-dzo9JoeAZpVTIzdqZcom78GLF6KK0L4N1QwKiaPFU35JLu/s3024/BA28E775-A5F5-481D-84EB-BA4A56F361F1.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFuQSVGnKVS8Lg4o4cOg8vCLM9kqdSh-ZG8_Q_WvlH00WbNQxgvAolyW6ByM8EbgUNxF6zdaqEYtvIM1gB1-C3TyC6x8Xiy24Y2HC4Z8Aok5BAMLgv7kXYgsugF572VTInj2hgJxNWla_cj-dzo9JoeAZpVTIzdqZcom78GLF6KK0L4N1QwKiaPFU35JLu/s600/BA28E775-A5F5-481D-84EB-BA4A56F361F1.JPEG"/></a></div>
When I moved to the 13 card, I had put the stencil down for the one and I had the portion from the inside of the three and added some adhesive and tape it down on top of the one so that it would overlay it some. I went ahead and blended the colors on the one so that it would leave the space where the three was blank. I remove both the three and the one stencil and then grab the three stencil that had the inside taken out and put it back over the three and add it in just a light pink the spun sugar distressed oxide. I did the background stamp on this one as well, but I decided to flip the colors. I added gold splatters to both and stamped two different happy birthday sentiments on some black cardstock cut them out and added them to the front of the cards and adhere the 7 and 13 to two different colors of blue card stock from cutcardstock.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWxm_pxf4_Y3Xwx06F1hBiN7pkMh3Zl5hxbNhxx29K0fM0ehIobHifUF-lQxFGkvyesN39D0e3DLXV3cY1apmbeY-aP8pr3PC7R2siV4K7q3ZTh0jBaZsxip-oYHtCYF9xS_dQ_b-AxENnWP4aEZXD1hdIVNBDYZTHieFFTpZhRlY3Q2Ic4Kgc6OnMKq4_/s3024/012C6BEF-DBB7-45E5-9044-BB07E961245B.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWxm_pxf4_Y3Xwx06F1hBiN7pkMh3Zl5hxbNhxx29K0fM0ehIobHifUF-lQxFGkvyesN39D0e3DLXV3cY1apmbeY-aP8pr3PC7R2siV4K7q3ZTh0jBaZsxip-oYHtCYF9xS_dQ_b-AxENnWP4aEZXD1hdIVNBDYZTHieFFTpZhRlY3Q2Ic4Kgc6OnMKq4_/s600/012C6BEF-DBB7-45E5-9044-BB07E961245B.JPEG"/></a></div>
On the #7 card I chose to use <a href="cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/surf-12x12-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">surf</a> and on the number 13 I chose to use <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/aqua-12x12-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Aqua</a>. I made sure to add 3D foam behind the card fronts and added them onto the card bases I also popped up the happy birthday tags with a little 3D foam as well and called both done.

Today is kind of bitter sweet. I am sharing my last layout for Clique kits today. I've been part of the Clique kits family for over 3 years now and I am going to miss it! The online shop will stay open through August and there are great sales going on, when the store opens back up. Gia is away for a little bit and the store will be back open, with the great sales before to long.
Ok, well now onto my last layout.....
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJozuBDycFPZP3CRJcnMRXcRCneyaYiweote97k_gZndFdU5MMvq9mI8BU7vBWXBqmrDTvAnY3PJURQjSqNWjIWdA6lurhFQCRZh0NFFGMQJbA1cOrQ-nNFaYo1PDJvUbyVEN-cX0309gKWnwkZOHvBS77TbfzQId0GwI0GSzvSNAKO7_vNjB9fobq-Q/s3024/CE3D11CF-ADE7-4756-9B4E-DF215DA73AFE.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJozuBDycFPZP3CRJcnMRXcRCneyaYiweote97k_gZndFdU5MMvq9mI8BU7vBWXBqmrDTvAnY3PJURQjSqNWjIWdA6lurhFQCRZh0NFFGMQJbA1cOrQ-nNFaYo1PDJvUbyVEN-cX0309gKWnwkZOHvBS77TbfzQId0GwI0GSzvSNAKO7_vNjB9fobq-Q/s600/CE3D11CF-ADE7-4756-9B4E-DF215DA73AFE.JPEG"/></a></div>
I started this layout with white cardstock and the Summer Groove kit. I also pulled a sketch from 30 Days of sketches with Christy's Beautiful life. Here the sketch I played with.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjz4BiQO5IkyJ1o4dvYV-jady3FRy48gHRXdcXZEXNK2sVrTWCIKgkg-ktwLeWyQJj9aZGoTHMQ6kDDJr0hQzkoTUvtRd73LYWPAAZXpf9l5f2FAgh6CGWN0DiOIyJ5RDG5SkhUrt0y42A29ii1-BqtWr0VfQDj9X3wGE8rJ9ds4oFdLxcZ3e3y0FixHg/s634/Screenshot%202023-06-18%20at%2012.00.47%20PM.png" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" height="600" data-original-height="634" data-original-width="586" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjz4BiQO5IkyJ1o4dvYV-jady3FRy48gHRXdcXZEXNK2sVrTWCIKgkg-ktwLeWyQJj9aZGoTHMQ6kDDJr0hQzkoTUvtRd73LYWPAAZXpf9l5f2FAgh6CGWN0DiOIyJ5RDG5SkhUrt0y42A29ii1-BqtWr0VfQDj9X3wGE8rJ9ds4oFdLxcZ3e3y0FixHg/s600/Screenshot%202023-06-18%20at%2012.00.47%20PM.png"/></a></div>
I wasnr sure what I was going to do with the background at first, so I decided to play with the photos I picked and adding a few photo mats to them and getting them positioned how I wanted them.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLR-o29HzRM3JCRU7QcxMy_mngUFLtiu2_yeeRLRROlfIovoZeLa6TjMkvoWcjTwsEwSSwlPngB0tcqrctITEk002lC3F9Z3XMKcxE_qhk08P7nQ_po553pjZnUIyRgjSWAAKWF55xDg98YPVxmW6eXUwaU3ejFJq9WnvdijM7LWFWqiLQbwfd4o2Iag/s3024/2E67A4AC-E6E3-40E0-A616-414CA92A2B9F.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLR-o29HzRM3JCRU7QcxMy_mngUFLtiu2_yeeRLRROlfIovoZeLa6TjMkvoWcjTwsEwSSwlPngB0tcqrctITEk002lC3F9Z3XMKcxE_qhk08P7nQ_po553pjZnUIyRgjSWAAKWF55xDg98YPVxmW6eXUwaU3ejFJq9WnvdijM7LWFWqiLQbwfd4o2Iag/s600/2E67A4AC-E6E3-40E0-A616-414CA92A2B9F.JPEG"/></a></div>
I went through the kit and pulled different embellishments that I thought I might want to use on this layout and put them to the side.
I went through my stash of clique kits stuff and found this piece of cardstock. Its an old Bazzil, Blossom. I decided to cut it into strips and use it as my background and for the strips in the sketch.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1GafQBnVEwwcj0JY-adOf5eaalLUlOMRVDQSIYLG5NIScAJ9JVRnB8uoyWuFz2TIRFjy5eJGDPKyr8f5hnd5HyA_sAjATx1sYiSHrRw9xSGE9SJVv0XcpUMTuZoQ7tkhyxw13nco9FWhnutQOPy661-v2eMIrExpLPyppXyRIWiyyhVoXOEi21_HARA/s3024/7F1C8079-8F70-4BB3-9955-3AD2D360759C.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1GafQBnVEwwcj0JY-adOf5eaalLUlOMRVDQSIYLG5NIScAJ9JVRnB8uoyWuFz2TIRFjy5eJGDPKyr8f5hnd5HyA_sAjATx1sYiSHrRw9xSGE9SJVv0XcpUMTuZoQ7tkhyxw13nco9FWhnutQOPy661-v2eMIrExpLPyppXyRIWiyyhVoXOEi21_HARA/s600/7F1C8079-8F70-4BB3-9955-3AD2D360759C.JPEG"/></a></div>
I added them to my background, ran them threw my sewing machine and ruffed up the sides and decided to start placing my photos and adding embellishments.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNkwG4_FmltZCZjIUnTd24Llf4_swK9isy1WeJv1PaiJHCQHJUn7F8Af90iOx_zY3bFSqo3P8WTjJrghK7BmGrIyRdWkaSPqda3T-IckLYV7zjIvjmQZHqnHYrS_BZyGVHNnaUERUEU-Re-D3NEWHNP9w4lfnCwOoPieHn1xGebL7grwP50rHl4CDE5Q/s3024/3BC495F1-7BA9-4407-B6BE-66F2091121D8.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNkwG4_FmltZCZjIUnTd24Llf4_swK9isy1WeJv1PaiJHCQHJUn7F8Af90iOx_zY3bFSqo3P8WTjJrghK7BmGrIyRdWkaSPqda3T-IckLYV7zjIvjmQZHqnHYrS_BZyGVHNnaUERUEU-Re-D3NEWHNP9w4lfnCwOoPieHn1xGebL7grwP50rHl4CDE5Q/s600/3BC495F1-7BA9-4407-B6BE-66F2091121D8.JPEG"/></a></div>
I tucked flowers here and there behind my pictures, I popped one of the pictures in the lower right corner up on 3D foam, to add some dimension. This was really a quick and easy layout. In the end I decided to pull another paper from the kit and fussy cut that bottom scallop at the bottm, I added some Heidi Swapp color shine in gold from my stash and called this layout good.
I hope you liked this layout and I hope you continue to follow along, even though I will no longer be posting for Clique Kits. I have more scrappy fun coming and make sure to check out my <a href="https://www.facebook.com/scrappinmylittleroyals" target="_blank">Facebook group</a>, <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@sarahwscrappin" target="_blank">TikTok</a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc1_TUM_Z90Uy97kvXIPJwA?view_as=subscriber" target="_blank">youtube</a> and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/mother0froyalty/?hl=en" target="_blank">Instagram</a> for more insperation!

How is your week so far? Well I wanted to pop in here and share a new layout I made using beautiful cardstock from CutCardstock and Echo Park Teen Spirit collection.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrU5a4yEMG20bE-xrp9q420Lb7U3j_9L7rd182rhh9iKMZKJllkhvkpAJc0hTg-sB2vtyKwm_NvfxAAKm78mAYvwNy0KBD9lME89S2ovVRmMqeJuSL96fpLJLDwJvpoPvk8qJ-qsn2JnMhIuV0ikX7xfX3DM-n14G62TOSV7upVOF8sDQf9sYYNrNLtw/s2658/8AF4E37C-971B-4CD6-B1E6-C754573C37C8.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="2658" data-original-width="2658" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrU5a4yEMG20bE-xrp9q420Lb7U3j_9L7rd182rhh9iKMZKJllkhvkpAJc0hTg-sB2vtyKwm_NvfxAAKm78mAYvwNy0KBD9lME89S2ovVRmMqeJuSL96fpLJLDwJvpoPvk8qJ-qsn2JnMhIuV0ikX7xfX3DM-n14G62TOSV7upVOF8sDQf9sYYNrNLtw/s600/8AF4E37C-971B-4CD6-B1E6-C754573C37C8.JPEG"/></a></div>
Starting my layout, I went with the <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/products/cougar-white-discount-card-stock" target="_blank">Cougar Smooth White Cardstock</a> for my base. I already had my photos, cut them apart and matted them on different cardstocks, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/lavender-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Hydrangea Purple</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/products/aqua-12x12-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Aqua</a>, and then <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/products/discount-card-stock-pearlized-textured-fruit-punch-pink" target="_blank">Shimmer Fruit Punch</a>. I matted each photo on a different color and sat them to the side.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirrlhiblKBazqzDZCPuAmDhkY2XtdfPt-1TG775awXpcaGBAL6KA4_Z6cwYCMsXCI0JdKwFJWjfZ6zY-Eh6mdOKFmhWjpaOEyVMrDA9Yrubx1Seycdfef4N1otj8mKX4wknm-TKX43dvGfkic4oUHhpoKkoqeBgRIvPLgYgDIFfS1fOSBi9GWCAzmRVQ/s3024/64F07BB6-AE97-42A8-A3C3-161D0ADAC7AE.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirrlhiblKBazqzDZCPuAmDhkY2XtdfPt-1TG775awXpcaGBAL6KA4_Z6cwYCMsXCI0JdKwFJWjfZ6zY-Eh6mdOKFmhWjpaOEyVMrDA9Yrubx1Seycdfef4N1otj8mKX4wknm-TKX43dvGfkic4oUHhpoKkoqeBgRIvPLgYgDIFfS1fOSBi9GWCAzmRVQ/s600/64F07BB6-AE97-42A8-A3C3-161D0ADAC7AE.JPEG"/></a></div>
I went through the papers in the collection I was going to use and pulled a few that I knew matched and would go great with the cardstock options I had already picked. I cut a thick strip of the one with fun emojis on it and then a little pink with white sprinkles. I layered them and added my photos on top but I wanted more. So I went through with cutting out some more circles and making some more embellishments.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhc8twxFbXtm47ZGTCwiqTCbDAOzqBK-S_HHa1fqCiaXhosPc8kRdmy80cKiZ5slwbWK2CRAN6qxP3j88Yeao9C2W9X1WEWkPfO326U7gt5Ba8NKybs4e1IUiBoibDqR8UOFbi4De1lUeo0gfohX-navxk08-XEWKu2Nk_rKamRVLULsGg69AZpKXe-DQ/s3024/2F709110-BAF3-4556-9664-FB729A4303AD.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhc8twxFbXtm47ZGTCwiqTCbDAOzqBK-S_HHa1fqCiaXhosPc8kRdmy80cKiZ5slwbWK2CRAN6qxP3j88Yeao9C2W9X1WEWkPfO326U7gt5Ba8NKybs4e1IUiBoibDqR8UOFbi4De1lUeo0gfohX-navxk08-XEWKu2Nk_rKamRVLULsGg69AZpKXe-DQ/s600/2F709110-BAF3-4556-9664-FB729A4303AD.JPEG"/></a></div>
I had used my circle punches to pop out a few circles from things from the collection and others from cardstock. I like purple and my daughter thought this layout could do with more purple so, I cut out a larger circle for the top side of my layout. I tucked it behind the paper strips I already had and tucked a little tag back there, a word sticker and a few little circles I'd popped out.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgukU16XAvnoV6LZCdcJRhFYlW-5NfQYoKVwTuP36mDdVJdVU-nNeu-OsH73mEB80s9lnbbzqhMXhxdjQVpSJm0-xqW66Tgj5Fn1NTxwpViJwZ8lWfrlYtr6JcSiecRCmN45BCshz_AelAIMy4dF7uzTh5guSgSUNhqe75PW_HVs3afZABtTVOlG76VNQ/s3021/F3F21768-42F1-4EF9-B0AD-A3260CDFBF10.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="3021" data-original-width="3021" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgukU16XAvnoV6LZCdcJRhFYlW-5NfQYoKVwTuP36mDdVJdVU-nNeu-OsH73mEB80s9lnbbzqhMXhxdjQVpSJm0-xqW66Tgj5Fn1NTxwpViJwZ8lWfrlYtr6JcSiecRCmN45BCshz_AelAIMy4dF7uzTh5guSgSUNhqe75PW_HVs3afZABtTVOlG76VNQ/s600/F3F21768-42F1-4EF9-B0AD-A3260CDFBF10.JPEG"/></a></div>
I like the way my layout was looking, but as always for me, I wanted there to be something more at the bottom. I pulled the same papers from the top and cut some strips and layered them at the bottom, tucking some cardstock circles in there and there, along with a few emoji faces. I added my journaling and title, a few more cut out circles and called this layout good!Sarah Wyleshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00175944180069658915noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1383274353277885044.post-31375396865318987032023-05-29T04:00:00.001-07:002023-05-29T04:00:00.142-07:00You're My Favorite Friendosaurus card | Cut Cardstock DTGood morning everyone, Sarah here this morning to share another Dinosaur card with you. I know I'm sorry, but I really like these little guys, but this might be the last one on the blog for a while, since I have some other things I wanted to play with. Now on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/mother0froyalty/" target="_blank">my instagram</a>, I can't promise lol.

As with most of my cards, I started with a base using <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/cougar-white-discount-card-stock" target="_blank">Cougar White Smooth Cardstock</a>. I had cut another piece of the same white cardstock down to a 4x5 1/4, this way my card would have a little white border. I laid it down on my desk, pulled a stencil from my stash and placed it where I wanted and secured it with low tack tape. Then I went to blending my Tumbled Glass distressed oxide and my Spun Sugar distressed oxide until I liked the way it looked.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEeklVonrIswEAjuNkLFMmwCB18NPing-qviXyKUX9YIY_x8ZmsSTgcEZQlQr7u7wahx4pepaUmgDOrYHIX8rpL15MgDXR2kzIoUxixEhYPGHOpqWF_680FKnAOLZXuHw5oCI_IKpuSFolTOiOyAr1qtB8wLhcDiDQ5O55ItZMiByM1IchyKNwBNmafw/s2682/C7D1BCD2-2D55-4463-ABE5-46A6077E43A9.JPEG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="600" data-original-height="2682" data-original-width="2682" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEeklVonrIswEAjuNkLFMmwCB18NPing-qviXyKUX9YIY_x8ZmsSTgcEZQlQr7u7wahx4pepaUmgDOrYHIX8rpL15MgDXR2kzIoUxixEhYPGHOpqWF_680FKnAOLZXuHw5oCI_IKpuSFolTOiOyAr1qtB8wLhcDiDQ5O55ItZMiByM1IchyKNwBNmafw/s600/C7D1BCD2-2D55-4463-ABE5-46A6077E43A9.JPEG"/></a></div>
I pulled out a die from my stash and cut one in the same white cardstock and another in <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/products/aqua-12x12-discount-cardstock" target="_blank">Aqua</a>, this way there would be another border between the patterned area and the dino itself. I wanted a little shading to the Aqua piece, so I grabbed my Tumbled glass distress oxide and blended some in on the sides.

I layered all my pieces up, really I thought I wanted the arches layered and coming from the bottom, but I changed my mind and decided I wanted them coming from the left side. Once I had those in place, I decided where I wanted my dino, ( My dinos were all stamped out on the same white cardstock). Then I stamped my sentiment, added some 3d foam behind my dino and stuck it down, then added a few little dots from my stash and called this one done!
