Hedgehog Slimline cards | CutCardstock DT
Hey everyone! I hope your week has started off pretty good!
Well today I wanted to share these two cute little fall cards with Hedgehogs on them! I think they are just too cute!
I created the base of my cards out of Cougar White Smooth CardStock, like normal. I also did all of my stamping on the same cardsrtock. This is my normal, I like the way the paper takes the different inks. Not just stamping but distressed oxide too, as you can see I made a background piece with distress oxide and a cloud stencil.
I colored all of my little hedgehogs,(these are My Favorite Things, Happy Hedgehogs), with my alcohol markers and a little white gel pen. I ran some patterned paper through my sizzix and created the scalloped edge and then ran Gingersnap cardstock through my sizzix as well with the dies to cut out the holes. I had to have somewhere for the cute little hedgehogs to go!
Once I had places all the hedgehogs, their logs, mushrooms and othere little things down I added some 3D foam to the back of the solid cardsotck and stuck it down.
On the green casrds I had chosen to use Gumdrop Green, I pulled out a few distress oxides from my stash and inked around the edges and stamped my sentiments and call these cards done!
I hope you enjoyed these cards and I hope you come back to see what else everyone comes up with!

I'm grumpy when you're not here card | Cut Cardstock DT
Good morning everyone!! How are you today? I'm doing pretty good! I wanted to share a few more cat cards I made. I couldn't help it, these cats are just too cute!
I started with the I'm grumpy when you're not here card. I grabbed my mermaid lagoon distress oxide with my Surf cardstock and blended some of that from the top down until I liked it. I had already decided I was going to use this sleeping cat on the shelf, so I kind of wanted it to look a little like night time. Once I did that I ran it through my sizzix with my heart die. I added 3D foam to the back and was fixing to put it on a white base, but decided to add some shimmery white splatters and then added it to the base. I had already stamped my sayings so I added a little 3D foam to it, just in the center where it would be over the heart. I added the shelf inside the heart and popped the cat up and then added the cute little mouse down in the corner and moved on to the next card.
I took the heart that came from the out-cut of my last card and covered it with a strip of a bunch of colors; Grape Jelly, Hydrangea Purple, Aqua, Surf, Galax, Light Yellow, Wild Salmon, Shimmer Fruit Punch, and Pink Tutu. I also decided to add a border to this card and I did that with some Aqua cardstock. I popped it up with some 3D foam and splattered a bunch of gold splatters on the card base and border and then added my rainbow heart.
I popped my cute little fuzzy guy up on 3D foam, added a little ball of yarn to him and a little saying. I thought I was done but decided to add a little speech bubble with a cut little fish and called this one done!

Happy Birthday dimensional flower card | Cut Cardstock DT
Good morning everyone!! How are you?? Well I wanted to share a quick but oh so pretty card with you today that I made for Cut Cardstock. I wasn't sure where I was going with this card at first, or that it was even going to be a card. I had pulled some flower dies and wanted to play with them so I did. I wasnt sure what I was going to do, like i said, so I cut the flowers out with white cardstock, man I was confused with it too to be honest lol. I stacked it together and found out how it was supposed to stack and then marked on the backs of each piece.
I pulled out my saltwater taffy distress oxide and started blending on the floral pieces from the outside in. After I got the flower pieces the way i liked, I added a little green to the leafs and a but of 2 different yellows to the center and went to using my roller tool to make the sides stick up some.
I grabbed some white cardstock and cut it down to a 4x5 1/4, ran it through my sizzix with an embossing folder, then again with a circle die to cut a place out for my flower. Once I had that, everything was ready except I needed a card base. So I ran through all the colors I had and thought the Surf cardstock looked great. There was a great contrast and it made the flower pop.

Crazy Girl Layout for CutCardstock DT
Good morning everyone!! How is your week so far? Well I wanted to pop in here and share a new layout I made using beautiful cardstock from CutCardstock and Echo Park Teen Spirit collection.
Starting my layout, I went with the Cougar Smooth White Cardstock for my base. I already had my photos, cut them apart and matted them on different cardstocks, Hydrangea Purple, Aqua, and then Shimmer Fruit Punch. I matted each photo on a different color and sat them to the side.
I went through the papers in the collection I was going to use and pulled a few that I knew matched and would go great with the cardstock options I had already picked. I cut a thick strip of the one with fun emojis on it and then a little pink with white sprinkles. I layered them and added my photos on top but I wanted more. So I went through with cutting out some more circles and making some more embellishments.
I had used my circle punches to pop out a few circles from things from the collection and others from cardstock. I like purple and my daughter thought this layout could do with more purple so, I cut out a larger circle for the top side of my layout. I tucked it behind the paper strips I already had and tucked a little tag back there, a word sticker and a few little circles I'd popped out.
I like the way my layout was looking, but as always for me, I wanted there to be something more at the bottom. I pulled the same papers from the top and cut some strips and layered them at the bottom, tucking some cardstock circles in there and there, along with a few emoji faces. I added my journaling and title, a few more cut out circles and called this layout good!

You're My Favorite Friendosaurus card | Cut Cardstock DT
Good morning everyone, Sarah here this morning to share another Dinosaur card with you. I know I'm sorry, but I really like these little guys, but this might be the last one on the blog for a while, since I have some other things I wanted to play with. Now on my instagram, I can't promise lol.
As with most of my cards, I started with a base using Cougar White Smooth Cardstock. I had cut another piece of the same white cardstock down to a 4x5 1/4, this way my card would have a little white border. I laid it down on my desk, pulled a stencil from my stash and placed it where I wanted and secured it with low tack tape. Then I went to blending my Tumbled Glass distressed oxide and my Spun Sugar distressed oxide until I liked the way it looked.
I pulled out a die from my stash and cut one in the same white cardstock and another in Aqua, this way there would be another border between the patterned area and the dino itself. I wanted a little shading to the Aqua piece, so I grabbed my Tumbled glass distress oxide and blended some in on the sides.
I layered all my pieces up, really I thought I wanted the arches layered and coming from the bottom, but I changed my mind and decided I wanted them coming from the left side. Once I had those in place, I decided where I wanted my dino, ( My dinos were all stamped out on the same white cardstock). Then I stamped my sentiment, added some 3d foam behind my dino and stuck it down, then added a few little dots from my stash and called this one done!

Happy Easter Cards | Cut Cardstock Design Team
Hello everyone!! Sarah here today, with my first post for the Cut Cardstock team. I have to be honest, as soon as I got my DT package I started to play with everything! I wanted to see how the cardstock did with stamping, die cutting and with my oxide inks.
I started with stamping on the Cougar Smooth Cardstock in white. I played with Archival ink first, it stamped so good and didn't even go through the paper. I liked that. I kind of went a little overboard stamping, along with die cutting things out lol.
I stamped all my little bunnies with the Archival ink, then thought I would color them in using my distressed oxides. Really, this is probably my favorite way to add some color to my stamps. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the cardstock took the amount of water and the amount of times I went over it. At this point I knew I was going to be making some cute little easter cards so I cut more of the Cougar smooth cardstock down and made my card bases. I splattered cold paint on some, stamped with other inks and just had fun with it.
This card, I cut an oval frame out of the same cardstock as my card bases, popped it up with some dimensional adhesive and started playing with the flowers I had cut out.
I used Pink Tutu, Shimmer Fruit Punch, Hydrangea Purple, Grape Jelly, Jelly Bean Green, Galax Olive Green and light yellow on just this card. I used all these on this card and the rest of the cards I made, along with Surf and Aqua added in as well.
Before I started to put all of my flowers together after die cutting them out, I grabbed distressed oxides from my stash the went along with the cardstock colors I was using and inked the edges to add some depth to the flowers. I sat here and did this forever. I don't know about you, but there are times I just love to die cut and ink. Its relaxing for me. I tucked my little bunny in and started placing my flowers and leaves here and there, until I I was happy with the way the card looked. And to finish it I added the Hello to the top.
I did pretty much the same thing here on this card, except that I decided to add a background stamp and gold splatters. I decided to use a few different colored flowers in this one and had my bunny sit on the edge of the frame too. I also decided to add Happy Easter to the top of this one.
Now this one I decided not to add a frame, I played with the flowers a bit more and ended up having them hang off the edge of the card, then I trimmed the overhang off. I also thought I would add 2 bunnies, instead of one. Along with the gold splatters and my Happy easter on the top.
On my last card, I decided to emboss a piece of the white cardstock and place it on half of my card, add a strip of pink where the embossed piece and smooth cardstock met. I then cut out a circle for my bunny to sit on and had the flowers radiating out from around it. I placed my Hello below my bunny and that was it for these cards.
I hope you enjoyed these and you can always head over to the Cut Cardstock Facebook page and the new Creating with cardstock group.

Today's Stories layout | Clique Kits DT
Good morning everyone! I took a break for a bit and didnt make any blog posts, but I thought I would go ahead and start up agian. Why now? I have no idea, especilly since we have been having such bad weather and there is more to come tonight abd I am not looking foeward to it at all. But my scrapping makes me happy and helps keep me distracted from the weather a bit.
But I'm here today to share a layout I made with the Limited Edition Level Up kit. I really like this kit and I already have another layout to share, but that will come later. I like this kit so much becuase you can make complelty different looking layouts with the one kit.
This layout, I used mostley the papers in the kit from Asuko Studios.
I liked thecolors and I wanted to go outside the gamer papers. I started this layout with my picuter and then pulled on eofthe papers, the one that looks like it has sun rays on it. I cut it in half and adheared it to the top of my page. I wanted more to it though. I thought it looked to plain, so I pulled a few other papers and cut some strips form a few differnt papers.
I have this thing, I like to add some texture I guess you can say, really I like to distress the edges of my papers. So, of course I did that to this layout too.
I knew I wanted my photo of my son on the lower left side of my layout, becuase of the way he's looking in the picture. So I decided to start adding some papers behind the photo and pop them up on some adhesive foam. I placed that down and started pulling all kinds of embellishments out from the kit. But first I had to add my black splatters on my layout.
Once I took a little snack break while my splatters were drying, I decided it was time to go a head and start adding my embellishments. In the kit there is a pack of Pinkfresh studio cardstock stickers and puffy stickers and thats where my embellishments came from. I started tucking lables and little pennents and puffy stickers here and there along the strips of paper I had placed down. I popped a puffy sticker up at the top of my photo. Today's Stories, I placed that for my title.
I grabbed my type writer and tryped up my journaling, cut it into strips and added ti to my layout and called this one done.
I hope you liked this layout. Have you seen all the new goodies in the Cliqu kits shop?? I mean if you havent, you need to go check out the shop, so much goodness in there right now!
The kit I used for this layout is there, along with an add on to go with it.

Fur Baby | Clique kits Design team
Good morning, everyone! Summer is still in full swing here and we are spending a lot of time outside. When the kids are busy playing sometimes, I like to sit back in my hammock and read. Well, the day I scrapbooked about one of my dogs decided to be my shadow. He wouldn't leave my side lol, so I had to snap some pictures and scrap them.
I love this collection by the way lol. The kit I chose to work with was the good Stuff sampler kit.The colors are so bright and fun, one of the reasons I picked it! I started off matting my photos into a photo strip and then running the dark blue paper with criss-crosses on it, through my sizzix. I loved all the non-perfect circles and the fact that I could use this color and not make it seem to dark. My pup was looking off to the right so I thought I would put my photo strip to the left of the layout and move on with my layout from there.
I went through the papers and pulled different ones I thought I might want to use and set those aside and pulled a few that I wanted to fussy cut a few things out of too. I pulled the rainbow striped paper out and decided to use it across the bottom of my layout, but I didn’t want that to be the only paper I used so I cut a strip of peachy pink paper too. I used a punch from my stash and ran it along one edge of that and slid it under the striped paper.
I went through and started pulling ephemera out and playing with where I wanted it on my layout, along with a few of the items I had fussy cut out earlier. I had thought I was going to use just the 3 labels I had cut out for my journaling and realized I had more I wanted to document, so I decided to make the patterned papers I added to my layout a pocket. This way I could hid a little more journaling n my layout and not make it overwhelming.
When I was done sticking all my stickers and labels and stuff down, I thought there was too much white space at the top. I saw that cute sun in the ephemera pack and thought it would work great on the top of my layout, so I cut out a few clouds by hand and laid them on my layout but thought I would take it a step further and run it through my sewing machine too. Lol. That finished this layout off.

Celebrate | Bramble Fox DT
Hi everyone!!! How's your monday going?? Well I am here today to share another layout with you using the Celebrate Perspextive, I also had some of the Hooray collection by Crate paper left over and thought they would be perfect paired together with this layout about my daughters birthday.
I went through the pieces I still had from Hooray and pulled everything I thought I might use, this way I knew what colors I was looking at. I wanted splatters or sprinkles as my daughter likes to call them, on her layout.
I stuck my pictures together with my tape runner, in a wonky photo strip. Then I started to tuck pieces of paper here and there, distressing the sides as I went.
I still had a few of the puffy stickers left and really they were too cute not to use so I popped the bear off to the left of the photos and the cute little cat over to the lower right. I slid a few tags in under the layers behind the photos so that my celebrate perspextive would have a good place to sit, nestled in next to the photos.
I knew that there was a little too much white space on the left side of the layout so I tucked bits and pieces over there too. Once I figured out where I wanted everything and before I stuck it all down, I grabbed a few of my distressed oxides and let my daughter help me make "sprinkles" as she calls them around the layout. Once those dired, I adhered everything down.
I love this Celebrate perspextive, for me, they work perfect as titles and then with the smaller bits they are perfect for embellishing pretty much anything! This one was another that as soon as I saw it, I knew exactly what picture it went with and that it would work perfectly! I added a few puffy stickers from the Hooray collection and a few enamel dots and that was it for this layout. I hope you enjoyed this layout and I hope you come back to see more of what I have fun making. Make sure to head over to the Bramble Fox site and check out all the new perspextives, stencils and dies. Everything is amazing! And check out the fox box too!

Smile | Bramble Fox
Good morning everyone!! I want to share another layout I made featuring a beautiful Perspextives from Bramble Fox. I love these Perspextives, they make it so easy to create a title or embellish your you/ project.
I started my layout with my picture and Perspextives. Thats what set the whole thing up for me. I saw this Perspextives and knew it went perfect for my picture of my little miss. I grabbed one of my past kits from Clique kits, pulled out some of the scrap papers i had and started layering them behind my photo.
I knew with the title/Perspextives being in blue, that I wanted some kind of blue here and there in my layout. I layered little bits of paper I had behind my photo and then grabbed a few tabs as well and added those.
After I got the photo layers the way I wanted them I moved on to the left of my layout. I knew I wanted everything else to be on the left since she was looking that way.
I actually caught this little miss looking out the window watching the squirrels play in the yard when I snapped this one. She was getting a kick out of them running about in the yard.
In the kit I was using I had that pretty vellum with rainbows on it and had to use it. I also pulled that big butterfly out of my stash and wanted to use it too.
I tucked bits and pieces here and there until I got it how I liked. I tied some thin twine around the Perspextives and had them hang from there onto the layout and I was happy and thought I was ready to adhere everything down but then I decided to do a little mixed media on the background. I grabbed my tattered rose distressed oxide and did some splatters. It matched some of the colors in my papers perfectly and then I was happy. I adhered everything down, typed my journaling up on my typewriter and placed that to the left of the dangling tags and was done.
I hope you enjoyed the layout I created! Make sure to go check out the Bramble Fox shop and go check out the new April fox box!!

December lits | Clique kits International design team
Hello everyone! I don't know about you, but I love to make lists. I make them all the time, everyday, but I make ones every month too. Sometimes they are just a reminder to pull out my camera and take some pictures, or something to push me a little further. Make me think outside the box. And I like this because sometimes it sends us on little adventures. December was a little different, we had a ton going on, family and health issues, so no real big adventures, but still Christmas fun, so I thought I would share my list and the way I decided to dress it up.
Usually I start out with my list and that's it, btu this past year I have been playing around a little more with how I do things. Why not dress it up and make it pretty? So I do that. I got the beautiful Holiday magic Seasonal kit and oh man was I looking forward to it! I love Pinkfresh Studio and this Christmas/Holiday collection was fantastic! I started by pulling some washi from my stash and running it across the top where I was going to put my title, then pulling the alphas from the kit and putting my title down. As you can see I started writing my list right down the left hand side of my page and then realized I didn't have to do that, I could lay a little with it if I wanted. So, I stopped what I was doing and started digging through the ephemer that came in the kit.
I pulled out everything I thought I would use, well really I pulled out everything lol. I started to layer pieces and play with how I wanted things laid out on my pages and started sticking them down. I distressed the edges and layered paper on paper, along with puffy stickers. And then I went back to writing my list. I'm not big on sharing my handwriting, not a fan of it or the mess ups I make but hey its part of it alot of the time right?
At this point this page was done and I could have left it at that but I wanted to still play with all the pretty thing and I had already taken some pictures of some of my decorations, so I decided to play on the next page too and add a little journaling.
So I moved to the next page, layed my pictures where I wanted them and started digging through my ephemera again. I wanted to have the washi on both pages, another something to bring them together so I pulled that back out and put it on the top and bottom of my page. Once I was done with that, I thought that the washi had made a great anchor for those cute little houses, so I distressed them too and stuck them down. I finished everything off by adding some of the gorgeous sequins that come in the kit and that was it.
This really didn't take me long to make and I like how it turned out. I don't know about you, but sometimes I need to do something that is like a slate cleaner. Something that doesn't take much thought and you can just do freely. This, making my lists and decorating them, is one of those things for me. Is fun and relaxing and seems to rejuvenate me for scrapping when I'm having a block. Sometimes it's getting messy with mixed media that helps, other times its making my lists and making them pretty. What about you? What do you do when you have scrappy block?
