Waving Hi card | Cut Cardstock DT
Good morning everyone! I hope you're having a good week, it's almost the weekend!! Well this is my last post for Cut Cardstock and I thought I would share a cute polar bear card with you guys I made.
Seriously, I think these little guys are so cute! This stamp is the BB Polar Bear Pals from My Favorite things, so I used those and I went with a blue and white color scheme for the whole card, as you can tell. lol. I used Cougar White Smooth CardStock for the base of my card as I normally do. Then I grabbed a piece of Surf. I cut it slightly smaller than the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base and ran it though my sizzix with a 3E embosser.
I cut a 4x5 1/4 piece of white to have as my background, cut a few hills and then pulled out my cloud stencil. I Grabbed my tumbled glass distress oxide for my clouds. When that was done I went to stamping my bears, their fish bucket and my sentiment on another sheet of Cougar White Smooth CardStock.
I pulled out my Tri Blend alcohol markers by Spectrum noir, adding some color to the polar bears scarfs, a little shading to their bodies and of course a little color to their feet. I also colored in the bucket of fish.
At this point all there was left to do was to add everything to the card. I placed the hills where I wanted them and then decided where I wanted mhy Polar bears and their bucket of fish. I had my sentimit, but I thought with it being on white that it blended in to much. So I grabbed my tumbled glass distress oxide again and inked up the edges. Popped it up on some foam and placed it at the bottom left of my card and call it done!
I hope you enjoyed this card and the cute little polar bears!!! I hope you have a great rest of your week!!

Hedgehog Slimline cards | CutCardstock DT
Hey everyone! I hope your week has started off pretty good!
Well today I wanted to share these two cute little fall cards with Hedgehogs on them! I think they are just too cute!
I created the base of my cards out of Cougar White Smooth CardStock, like normal. I also did all of my stamping on the same cardsrtock. This is my normal, I like the way the paper takes the different inks. Not just stamping but distressed oxide too, as you can see I made a background piece with distress oxide and a cloud stencil.
I colored all of my little hedgehogs,(these are My Favorite Things, Happy Hedgehogs), with my alcohol markers and a little white gel pen. I ran some patterned paper through my sizzix and created the scalloped edge and then ran Gingersnap cardstock through my sizzix as well with the dies to cut out the holes. I had to have somewhere for the cute little hedgehogs to go!
Once I had places all the hedgehogs, their logs, mushrooms and othere little things down I added some 3D foam to the back of the solid cardsotck and stuck it down.
On the green casrds I had chosen to use Gumdrop Green, I pulled out a few distress oxides from my stash and inked around the edges and stamped my sentiments and call these cards done!
I hope you enjoyed these cards and I hope you come back to see what else everyone comes up with!

One Fine Day layout | Cut Cardstock DT
Good morning everyone!! Are you happy its Friday?!? I am! lol I'm ready for the weekend and some fun outdoors!
Today I'm here to share a cardstock heavy layout!! And I love it! I ran 7 different cardstocks; Stardream Metallic Copper, Textured Pink Carnation, Canvas Textured Wild Salmon, Textured Flame Tree Orange, Orange Zest, Canvas Textured Rubber Ducky Yellow and Canvas Textured Galax Olive Green, through my sizzix using a fringe die. I ran a piece of the Cougar White Smooth CardStock through my silhouette and cut out a bunch of leaves. I saved the ones I cut out but I actually wanted to use the other part as my background.
I grabbed a random piece of paper from my stash and laid my fringe pieces out on it so that I knew I had enough pieces and that it was in the order I wanted. I also checked to make sure that my top piece would sit correctly. I added 3d foam adhesive to the back of the cutfile and placed it over the top, after I had gotten all the fringe pieces stuck down.
I pulled out the stash kit I've been working with. I added a few paper layers behind my photo and stuck it down, then moved on to adding embellishments and finding a title.
I thought this sticker that said One fine day, was perfect! This day had been fantastic and the kiddos had had so much fun, it worked! I pulled the leafy bits from the sticker sheet and added those in a few places. Along with a few other stickers that I layered in the bottom left corner, the left side of my photo and up at the top as well.
I pulled some older supplies from my kit and added some of the shiny rhinestone wooden buttons here and there, decided I wanted white splatters and that ended this layout!
Hope you enjoyed this layout!

Halloween coffee Panda cards | Cut Cardstock DT
Good mornig everyone!! How are you doing and are you ready for fall or haloween?? I sure am and have been. But here where I live we keep getting teased with fall but it keeps getting hot again :(.
Well this morning I wanted to share with you two cards that I made and ones a shaker!!
I used my normal base for my cards, Cougar Smooth White cardstock, I pulled the Halloween American crafts paper pad I got from Cut cardstock and matched some of the cardstock to it.
I ended up pulling Wedding cake, Gunmetal, and Orange Zest.
Once I had everything picked out and matched, things came together quite easily. I ran some of the Halloween paper throught my sizzix to cut out the coffee cups, the first one I turned into a shaker with some cute little punkins I had in my stash. I had stamped out some cute little pandas in the beging and I added one to the center of my shaker.
once I had the shaker put together I added a piece of patterned paper to the front of my card base and moved on to my other card.
This one wasn't a shaker, so it came together even faster. I went ahead and cut another coffee cup out, inked my panda with some distress oxide and drew some little stitches on him like Frankenstein. I inked the edges of my coffee cup pieces, glued everything together. Stamped boo on the coffee cup sleeves and call these cards done! I hope you enjoyed these cards and if youd like to see a bit more you can watch a quick video here on my Tiktok.

My first Slimline cards | Cut Cardstock DT
Hello crafty people!! How are you this morning?? I hope your day is going well and I hope your up for checking out some new cards I made, My 1st Slimline cards actually.... and I'm pretty happy with them, if I do say so myself.
I started with one card. I had never done one of these and of course I would choose one that has soooo may things you have to pop out and then layer back in. But it was totally worth it!!
I started with Cougar White Smooth cardstock for the base of my card and then I thought I would also use it for the front portion of this card. I ran it through my sizzix, popped everything out and then moved on to cutting the next few layering parts out too. I wanted to go with a coral color and a pretty teal/blue color. So I chose Pearl canvas texture Aquarium, Wild Salmon and Beetle Black. I used these colors for both cards with a little different look in the end.
I started with black as the farthest back on this card. I then cut the salmon color and then the blue. Once I layered them, I found some little gems in my stash and added them on the end. Pulled two distress oxides out of my stash, one to match the blue and the coral colors I used, so that I could add them to the background on the base of my card. For the white card I used Saltwater taffy on the edges, glued everything down, placed the little black pieces in the latticing. Finished it off with my sentiment and moved on to the next card.
With this one, I started with a black base and black for the base of the front of my card too. I did all the same exact steps on this card, but with a different color order and salvaged patina distress oxide. Along with a different sentiment and colored jewels.
I hope you enjoyed these two cards, I have to say I really enjoyed making them and was so happy with the way they turned out, especially being my first Slimline cards I have made!

Pineapple Cards | Cut Cardstock Dt
Good morning everyone!! How are you this monday? I hope your week is starting good!
I wanted to hop on this morning to share a few new cards with you that I did. I couldn't help but use this cute pineapple stamp from Concord & 9th. I loved the fact that I could add so much color to it! And I did just that!
I chose the Cougar Smooth White cardstock for my card bases along with what I chose to stamp on. This paper just seems to be able to take the ink from the stamp, along with alcohol markers and distress oxides too.
I stamped both pineapples and thought I would try something different with each of them. The one that ended up on the yellow was done with distress oxide inks and I love the way the colors turned out, kind of a bit fall-ish looking, to me at least. To finish that cards I grabbed some of my Light Yellow cardstock, ran it through my sizzix with a embossing folder and then rubbed one of my distress oxides across the raised parts and then cut an circle in it large enough pop my pineapple up in and added my hello sentiment banner and moved on to my next card.
I figured with the first card, it looking fall-ish that I would continue on with that on this card but in different colors. So, I pulled out my alcohol markers and went to coloring in pretty light pinks, purples and some maroons and a bit of a different green too. Since I had went this route with it, I had the perfect purple in my stash to use. I grabbed my Hydrangea purple, ran it through my sizzix as well, cut a circle in it and popped up my pineapple, added my sentiment and called them done!
I hope you enjoyed these cards and I hope you come back to get some more crafty insperation!

I'm grumpy when you're not here card | Cut Cardstock DT
Good morning everyone!! How are you today? I'm doing pretty good! I wanted to share a few more cat cards I made. I couldn't help it, these cats are just too cute!
I started with the I'm grumpy when you're not here card. I grabbed my mermaid lagoon distress oxide with my Surf cardstock and blended some of that from the top down until I liked it. I had already decided I was going to use this sleeping cat on the shelf, so I kind of wanted it to look a little like night time. Once I did that I ran it through my sizzix with my heart die. I added 3D foam to the back and was fixing to put it on a white base, but decided to add some shimmery white splatters and then added it to the base. I had already stamped my sayings so I added a little 3D foam to it, just in the center where it would be over the heart. I added the shelf inside the heart and popped the cat up and then added the cute little mouse down in the corner and moved on to the next card.
I took the heart that came from the out-cut of my last card and covered it with a strip of a bunch of colors; Grape Jelly, Hydrangea Purple, Aqua, Surf, Galax, Light Yellow, Wild Salmon, Shimmer Fruit Punch, and Pink Tutu. I also decided to add a border to this card and I did that with some Aqua cardstock. I popped it up with some 3D foam and splattered a bunch of gold splatters on the card base and border and then added my rainbow heart.
I popped my cute little fuzzy guy up on 3D foam, added a little ball of yarn to him and a little saying. I thought I was done but decided to add a little speech bubble with a cut little fish and called this one done!

Happy Birthday dimensional flower card | Cut Cardstock DT
Good morning everyone!! How are you?? Well I wanted to share a quick but oh so pretty card with you today that I made for Cut Cardstock. I wasn't sure where I was going with this card at first, or that it was even going to be a card. I had pulled some flower dies and wanted to play with them so I did. I wasnt sure what I was going to do, like i said, so I cut the flowers out with white cardstock, man I was confused with it too to be honest lol. I stacked it together and found out how it was supposed to stack and then marked on the backs of each piece.
I pulled out my saltwater taffy distress oxide and started blending on the floral pieces from the outside in. After I got the flower pieces the way i liked, I added a little green to the leafs and a but of 2 different yellows to the center and went to using my roller tool to make the sides stick up some.
I grabbed some white cardstock and cut it down to a 4x5 1/4, ran it through my sizzix with an embossing folder, then again with a circle die to cut a place out for my flower. Once I had that, everything was ready except I needed a card base. So I ran through all the colors I had and thought the Surf cardstock looked great. There was a great contrast and it made the flower pop.

I love Mew kitty cards | Cut Cardstock DT
Good morning everyone, how ya doing?? Maybe saw my previous post? Lol Well I wanted to pop on this morning and share a 2nd project, but this one is for the Cut Cardstock design team.
I made these two cat/love theme cards and I really tried to use everything, even if I just cut something out of it or scraps. So, starting, I used a piece of white cardstock, ran it through my sizzix with a hear die. I decided I wanted to use the part that would be the full card front.
I pulled out my bin that I keep all my cut Cardstock off cuts, I realized I had a bit of each color, so I decided to make the heart be a rainbow. I love rainbow pretty much anything, so how could I not? Lol I got the cardstock in the order I wanted them, Grape Jelly, Hydrangea Purple, Aqua, Surf, Galax, Light Yellow, Wild Salmon, Shimmer Fruit Punch and Pink Tutu. I adhered them all from the back, flipped it over and grabbed my kitties I had stamped and colored previously. I played with them till I decided on one of the cute little kitties. I added some adhesive foam to the back of it and stuck it down. I pulled out my I knead you stamp set from My favorite things and stamped my sentiment, added my outlining to it and then to the rest of the card, popped a little mouse on top of my sentiment and call this one done. But I wanted to use the heart that was left over, so I started another card.
I added a little removable adhesive to the back of the heart and stickit down onto a scrap piece of paper, place my stencil over the top where I wanted it, used some washi to keep it where I wanted and started to blend my blues out. I grabbed another piece of white cardstock that I ran through my sizzix in a small, dotted embosser, I added some adhesive foam to the back of the heart and stuck it down. I had already stamped a second saying when I stamped the one for my last card, so I cut it and had It ready to stick to my card. I went through my pile of kitties I had stamped and chose a little orange cat and a ball of yarn and placed it to the left side of the heart and then added my sentiment and another cute little mouse. I thought it was a little too much white on the background, so I decided to add some blue splatters and called these done!

Birthday Cards using stamps, stencils and distressed oxides | Cut Cardstock DT
Hi crafty people!! How ya been doing? Well today I wanted to pop in and share a few cards I made using cardstock from CutCardstock, distressed oxides from my stash, a few number stencils and a great background stamp from Hero Arts.
I started my cards with white cardstock, I cut both pieces down to 4x5 ¼ so that when I put them on a card base, the color from the card would show as a boarder. I put the white paper into my Misti with a little removable adhesive on the back and then I laid my stencil over the top with a little adhesive on it as well so that I could blend my distressed oxides over the top without having the stencil move.
When it comes to the #7 card, I decided to use darker colored inks to stamp over the top of everything with the hero arts background stamp. Once I had the background stamped, I decided that the seven didn't stand out well enough, so I attempted to go around it with a white gel pin and didn't quite like the looks of it, so I went ahead and grabbed my black Micron out and went around the seven and then the outside portion of the card as well.
When I moved to the 13 card, I had put the stencil down for the one and I had the portion from the inside of the three and added some adhesive and tape it down on top of the one so that it would overlay it some. I went ahead and blended the colors on the one so that it would leave the space where the three was blank. I remove both the three and the one stencil and then grab the three stencil that had the inside taken out and put it back over the three and add it in just a light pink the spun sugar distressed oxide. I did the background stamp on this one as well, but I decided to flip the colors. I added gold splatters to both and stamped two different happy birthday sentiments on some black cardstock cut them out and added them to the front of the cards and adhere the 7 and 13 to two different colors of blue card stock from cutcardstock.
On the #7 card I chose to use surf and on the number 13 I chose to use Aqua. I made sure to add 3D foam behind the card fronts and added them onto the card bases I also popped up the happy birthday tags with a little 3D foam as well and called both done.

Crazy Girl Layout for CutCardstock DT
Good morning everyone!! How is your week so far? Well I wanted to pop in here and share a new layout I made using beautiful cardstock from CutCardstock and Echo Park Teen Spirit collection.
Starting my layout, I went with the Cougar Smooth White Cardstock for my base. I already had my photos, cut them apart and matted them on different cardstocks, Hydrangea Purple, Aqua, and then Shimmer Fruit Punch. I matted each photo on a different color and sat them to the side.
I went through the papers in the collection I was going to use and pulled a few that I knew matched and would go great with the cardstock options I had already picked. I cut a thick strip of the one with fun emojis on it and then a little pink with white sprinkles. I layered them and added my photos on top but I wanted more. So I went through with cutting out some more circles and making some more embellishments.
I had used my circle punches to pop out a few circles from things from the collection and others from cardstock. I like purple and my daughter thought this layout could do with more purple so, I cut out a larger circle for the top side of my layout. I tucked it behind the paper strips I already had and tucked a little tag back there, a word sticker and a few little circles I'd popped out.
I like the way my layout was looking, but as always for me, I wanted there to be something more at the bottom. I pulled the same papers from the top and cut some strips and layered them at the bottom, tucking some cardstock circles in there and there, along with a few emoji faces. I added my journaling and title, a few more cut out circles and called this layout good!

You're My Favorite Friendosaurus card | Cut Cardstock DT
Good morning everyone, Sarah here this morning to share another Dinosaur card with you. I know I'm sorry, but I really like these little guys, but this might be the last one on the blog for a while, since I have some other things I wanted to play with. Now on my instagram, I can't promise lol.
As with most of my cards, I started with a base using Cougar White Smooth Cardstock. I had cut another piece of the same white cardstock down to a 4x5 1/4, this way my card would have a little white border. I laid it down on my desk, pulled a stencil from my stash and placed it where I wanted and secured it with low tack tape. Then I went to blending my Tumbled Glass distressed oxide and my Spun Sugar distressed oxide until I liked the way it looked.
I pulled out a die from my stash and cut one in the same white cardstock and another in Aqua, this way there would be another border between the patterned area and the dino itself. I wanted a little shading to the Aqua piece, so I grabbed my Tumbled glass distress oxide and blended some in on the sides.
I layered all my pieces up, really I thought I wanted the arches layered and coming from the bottom, but I changed my mind and decided I wanted them coming from the left side. Once I had those in place, I decided where I wanted my dino, ( My dinos were all stamped out on the same white cardstock). Then I stamped my sentiment, added some 3d foam behind my dino and stuck it down, then added a few little dots from my stash and called this one done!

Play layout with Fringe! | CutCardstock DT
Good morning everyone!! How are you this morning?? I hope all if well where you are. Well today I wanted to share a new layout with yall. I decided to play with diecuts and fringe!! I had so much fun with this!!
My mom came up to hang out and we decided to sit and play with some dies she had got, that I didnt have and I loved the Tim Holtz, Funky Insects dies and thought I would try and play with them. I pulled two purple(Hydrangea Purple, Grape Jelly) cardstocks, two pinks (Shimmer Fruit Punch,Strawberry Cream), a yellow (Light yellow), blue (Surf) and of course white(Cougar Smooth Cardstick) for my base and some die cuts.
When I went to assembling the diecut buggies lol, I pulled out some of my distressed oxides and added a little color to the edges, adheared them together lightly and then ran them through my sewing machine.
When I was making my bugs, I had went through my scrap bucket and pulled some patterned papers that went along with my cardstock colors. I cut some little pieces out for my bugs and then made sure I had enough to make long and short fringe with. I cut my fringe and started to play with where I wanted it on the layout. When I figured that out, I started adhering it down. I cut another scrap, white woodgrain, popped it up on foam adhesive and added it to the top of my fringe so that it had a more finished look and a little shelf for my photo to sit, along with my title.
I added a little paper behind my photo and popped it up on some foam adhesive too and placed it to the top right of my layout, sitting on that little shelf. I added my title, plain and simple, Play. Then came the fun!! I got to start tucking my little bugs in here and there. Sticking out from under the fringe and up by my photo.
This was a fun layout and I love the way that the cardstock takes the ink and can be played with.
Make sure to head over to the CutCardstock shop and check out all the beautiful papers, regular cardstock, shimmer cardstock and more.

Happy Easter Cards | Cut Cardstock Design Team
Hello everyone!! Sarah here today, with my first post for the Cut Cardstock team. I have to be honest, as soon as I got my DT package I started to play with everything! I wanted to see how the cardstock did with stamping, die cutting and with my oxide inks.
I started with stamping on the Cougar Smooth Cardstock in white. I played with Archival ink first, it stamped so good and didn't even go through the paper. I liked that. I kind of went a little overboard stamping, along with die cutting things out lol.
I stamped all my little bunnies with the Archival ink, then thought I would color them in using my distressed oxides. Really, this is probably my favorite way to add some color to my stamps. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the cardstock took the amount of water and the amount of times I went over it. At this point I knew I was going to be making some cute little easter cards so I cut more of the Cougar smooth cardstock down and made my card bases. I splattered cold paint on some, stamped with other inks and just had fun with it.
This card, I cut an oval frame out of the same cardstock as my card bases, popped it up with some dimensional adhesive and started playing with the flowers I had cut out.
I used Pink Tutu, Shimmer Fruit Punch, Hydrangea Purple, Grape Jelly, Jelly Bean Green, Galax Olive Green and light yellow on just this card. I used all these on this card and the rest of the cards I made, along with Surf and Aqua added in as well.
Before I started to put all of my flowers together after die cutting them out, I grabbed distressed oxides from my stash the went along with the cardstock colors I was using and inked the edges to add some depth to the flowers. I sat here and did this forever. I don't know about you, but there are times I just love to die cut and ink. Its relaxing for me. I tucked my little bunny in and started placing my flowers and leaves here and there, until I I was happy with the way the card looked. And to finish it I added the Hello to the top.
I did pretty much the same thing here on this card, except that I decided to add a background stamp and gold splatters. I decided to use a few different colored flowers in this one and had my bunny sit on the edge of the frame too. I also decided to add Happy Easter to the top of this one.
Now this one I decided not to add a frame, I played with the flowers a bit more and ended up having them hang off the edge of the card, then I trimmed the overhang off. I also thought I would add 2 bunnies, instead of one. Along with the gold splatters and my Happy easter on the top.
On my last card, I decided to emboss a piece of the white cardstock and place it on half of my card, add a strip of pink where the embossed piece and smooth cardstock met. I then cut out a circle for my bunny to sit on and had the flowers radiating out from around it. I placed my Hello below my bunny and that was it for these cards.
I hope you enjoyed these and you can always head over to the Cut Cardstock Facebook page and the new Creating with cardstock group.
