This is my Summer layout | DLS Design DT

Hey everyone! How are you doing this morning? It's actually getting cool here but I'm going to keep doing summer layouts! lol Do you scrap seasonally? Only summer in summer and winter in winter? Well I wanted to share a layout I made for DLS design, I have a process video for it as well and will add that link towards the bottom.
I pulled out some of the stencils, sime of my distress oxides from my stash and went to town on the background. It still suprises me from time to time that it really doesn't take to much time to play with a little mixed media. I added a little water to the edges so that they wouldnt be clena and perfect, well i guess you'll see that in the video lol
But I had fun playing with the stamps ontop of the stencilling, and moved on to cutting and layering papers. Ok I'll stop talking now and you can just watch the video lol. Hope you enjoy!

I love Mew kitty cards | Cut Cardstock DT

Good morning everyone, how ya doing?? Maybe saw my previous post? Lol Well I wanted to pop on this morning and share a 2nd project, but this one is for the Cut Cardstock design team.
I made these two cat/love theme cards and I really tried to use everything, even if I just cut something out of it or scraps. So, starting, I used a piece of white cardstock, ran it through my sizzix with a hear die. I decided I wanted to use the part that would be the full card front. I pulled out my bin that I keep all my cut Cardstock off cuts, I realized I had a bit of each color, so I decided to make the heart be a rainbow. I love rainbow pretty much anything, so how could I not? Lol I got the cardstock in the order I wanted them, Grape Jelly, Hydrangea Purple, Aqua, Surf, Galax, Light Yellow, Wild Salmon, Shimmer Fruit Punch and Pink Tutu. I adhered them all from the back, flipped it over and grabbed my kitties I had stamped and colored previously. I played with them till I decided on one of the cute little kitties. I added some adhesive foam to the back of it and stuck it down. I pulled out my I knead you stamp set from My favorite things and stamped my sentiment, added my outlining to it and then to the rest of the card, popped a little mouse on top of my sentiment and call this one done. But I wanted to use the heart that was left over, so I started another card.
I added a little removable adhesive to the back of the heart and stickit down onto a scrap piece of paper, place my stencil over the top where I wanted it, used some washi to keep it where I wanted and started to blend my blues out. I grabbed another piece of white cardstock that I ran through my sizzix in a small, dotted embosser, I added some adhesive foam to the back of the heart and stuck it down. I had already stamped a second saying when I stamped the one for my last card, so I cut it and had It ready to stick to my card. I went through my pile of kitties I had stamped and chose a little orange cat and a ball of yarn and placed it to the left side of the heart and then added my sentiment and another cute little mouse. I thought it was a little too much white on the background, so I decided to add some blue splatters and called these done!

This must be the place | Clique kits

Good morning everyone!! I shared this layout on my instagram the other day and thought I'd pop on and share it here too.
This whole layout started with this little photo of one of my littles and here dog in the backseat of my car. We went on a ride one day and they both just fell asleep lol. So, I knew what photo I was using and then, this fabulous kit, the Some days kit, I had from Clique kits made the rest really easy. That cute little pocket was what set the tune for the whole layout. The colors were great. I went through the kit and pulled different items that went along with the colors in that pocket.
I pulled a stencil from a past kit from Clique kits and grabbed a distressed oxide, another goodie from Clique kits lol. Yeah, I have a lot of goodies from Clique kits. Well, I added that to the background, along with some splatters and then went to layering all the lovely bits and pieces till I got them where I was happy with them.
I loved all the journaling pieces there were in this kit, in the Pinkfresh loveliness! And yes, I did actually journal on them, but not till I finished the layout and took pics. I don’t like my hand writing, I share enough of my hand writing in my memory planning lol.
I made sure to pull out some of those cute floral ephemera pieces and puff stickers and tucked them in here and there. Then finished it off with a few enamel dots. I love those things, I use to hoard them but I’m always trying to find a way to put them in now lol. Well I hope you liked my layout and make sure to head over to the Clique kits website and check out all the beautiful kits and check out the blog at all the amazing inspiration!
