Embrace - 12x12 layout/ Bella BLVD DT

Good morning everyone!!

I am here today and I wanted to share a new layout with you. Is anyone else ready for fall? I sure am!! It is so hot outside, but I was so happy to see that the leaves on the trees are starting to chance and I am full and ready to embrace that change!! I am so ready for hot cocoa, boots, sweaters and scarfs!! And the leaves changing color means that its on its way!

I had my picture printed, pulled out the lovely Let's go on an Adventure collection by Bella Blvd, pulled papers that were green and brown. Then I pulled embellishments that were green, brown and orange. And with that color scheme, I realized that these cute little fox would work great on this layout!
I cut my papers, laid them out and started to layer embellishments where I wanted them. Tucking things here and there. I was liking the way it look, but there was just to much white space. I left it where it was, because it was lunch time and my toddler needed her lunch follower by frozen yogurt, lol and came back to it later.
So I sat her up with her coloring next to me,after lunch and yogurt. Pulled the layout back out. I decided I wanted to add some color to the background. Not only would this help the acrylic word "embrace" stand out, but it would let the whole layout pop! I pulled out my Illustrated Faith acrylic paints, pulled the orange out and out some on my acrylic block. I sprayed my cardstock with my spray bottle and then started to platter my layout with the orange pain. I even let my daughter help some. She said it looked like fun. lol
I colored with her while I let my layout dry. Once it was dry, I started to glue down the layers and pieces that I had in the first place. She helped me put the foxes on and then started to add my stickers to her coloring book. I tucked a few more pieces, glued down the "embrace" acrylic word and it was done. I turned it over and taped a piece of paper to the back with some journaling on it, describing my feeling of happieness about fall coming and about my little helping me with my layout.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see what I created today and I hope you have a great rest of your week!!

Sweet sweet summer / Bella Blvd

Good morning everyone!!
I'm here this morning sharing a new layout that I made with the new Squeeze the day collection from Bella Blvd.
This week my assignment was to scrapbook summer memories. And that's just what I did with this goofy picture of my daughter.
We have a summer tradition of going to our local zoo every summer, sweating down like crazy while walking around looking at the animals and stopping at every mister around the zoo as we go lol. So by the end we look completely sloppy, but we have had a blast with each other

I started my layout with a sheet of white cardstock, I had already decided I wanted to go for a grid design, so I chose a few patterned paper from the Squeeze the day collection and the Bella Besties collection. I laid them out on my layout and pulled out the ephemera words and icons from the Squeeze the day collection.

I have been eyeing all the cute little rainbows in this collection and I thought this would be a great layout to use them on. I pulled a bunch of the rainbows from the packs, some from the sticker sheet and a few tags along with those and started layering them in the squares.

Once I had everything layered on the separate squares, I went to ruffling all the edges up and adding 3D foam adhesive and popping a few things up. I pulled some crape paper from my scrappy stash and added some coming out from under one of the rainbows, around one of the scalloped circle stickers and to the left, behind my photo. I thought it added some good texture. I thought there was to much white and there was enough room to cut it off and add a pop of something else. I pulled some papers from Bella besties, laid them behind my layout till I decided on one. I cut 3 of the sides down and added my Punch paper to the left of my layout and was done.

Squeeze the day collection: 6x6 paper pad, Daily Details 12x12 paper, Ephemera Icons, Ephemera Words, Doohickey sticker sheet, Ciao Chip icons
Bella Besties collection: 6x6 paper pad, Graph and dot 12x12 Punch paper

Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series - September 2019!

Good morning planner friends!
I'm here this morning to share with you my September monthly planner spread using Paper Sweeties planner stamps and some bits and pieces from my stash.
I started out by stamping in the things I knew I had planned already this month. I added a reminder for bill paying, design team projects due, our fun pizza night and a few other things. My planner stamps for Paper Sweeties make it really easy every month.

I know I have a few doctors appointments to add in there that weren't scheduled when I made this, but are in there now, hoping to add some more updated with my weekly spreads through out the month, if things calm down, lol. Life is crazy, but I love it all!

Once I had everything I already new I had planned, stamped out I moved on to jotting a few things in and on to making things pretty.

I just got some new orange and white stripped washi and wanted to use it so I grabbed that and some bits and pieces left from a Bella Blvd collection I had and added some pretties. I didn't go to crazy adding things, because I knew there were going to be things that I had to add through the month.  I was happy with my start for September and will add more as I go.
Make sure to head over to Paper Sweeties and check out the planner stamps and all the other pretty stamps that are in the shop!!
Make sure to pop over to the rest of the planner teams blogs and see what they are sharing in their planners this month too!
