Celebrate | Bramble Fox DT
Hi everyone!!! How's your monday going?? Well I am here today to share another layout with you using the Celebrate Perspextive, I also had some of the Hooray collection by Crate paper left over and thought they would be perfect paired together with this layout about my daughters birthday.
I went through the pieces I still had from Hooray and pulled everything I thought I might use, this way I knew what colors I was looking at. I wanted splatters or sprinkles as my daughter likes to call them, on her layout.
I stuck my pictures together with my tape runner, in a wonky photo strip. Then I started to tuck pieces of paper here and there, distressing the sides as I went.
I still had a few of the puffy stickers left and really they were too cute not to use so I popped the bear off to the left of the photos and the cute little cat over to the lower right. I slid a few tags in under the layers behind the photos so that my celebrate perspextive would have a good place to sit, nestled in next to the photos.
I knew that there was a little too much white space on the left side of the layout so I tucked bits and pieces over there too. Once I figured out where I wanted everything and before I stuck it all down, I grabbed a few of my distressed oxides and let my daughter help me make "sprinkles" as she calls them around the layout. Once those dired, I adhered everything down.
I love this Celebrate perspextive, for me, they work perfect as titles and then with the smaller bits they are perfect for embellishing pretty much anything! This one was another that as soon as I saw it, I knew exactly what picture it went with and that it would work perfectly! I added a few puffy stickers from the Hooray collection and a few enamel dots and that was it for this layout. I hope you enjoyed this layout and I hope you come back to see more of what I have fun making. Make sure to head over to the Bramble Fox site and check out all the new perspextives, stencils and dies. Everything is amazing! And check out the fox box too!
Wild & Free | Clique Kits Design team
Good morning everyone! I hope your Monday is going good so far. I wanted to share with you a new layout I made with the Fairytale Base kit. I had some fun with this one. I knew what picture I was going to use when I started. My goofy little miss. But I decided I wanted to work with only a few colors, so I went through the kit and pulled any piece that was purple, that tealy green and the yellow color too. I love the paper that had the cute little black hearts on it so I put that in the pile too.
There was one paper in the kit, Memoir, it had the black hearts with the white background and all of those beautiful, different colored triangles on the other side. I decided to cut that whole sheet of paper up and pull the colors I wanted from it and use the triangles as a main design on my layout.
I distressed the sides of each of the triangles and played with the placement of them. I tried a few things but end the end I put them down starting on the right side of the layout, in the middle and worked my way in. I decided not to wait, to see what would happen really lol. So I went ahead and stuck them down. I do kind of regret that, since I ended up covering so many triangles up, but it worked out in the end. But once I got the triangles down, I moved on to my photo and what I wanted to do with it.
I placed a thin, white mat around the photo, but wanted something a but more. But I also didn't a ton of color there wither, so I decided to pull out some tissue paper and cut a fe layers of that and mat my picture on it. And tucked that cute little tag back there too. It wasn't a hard decision and it was really simple so it only took a minute of two and I was ready to start adding embellishments.
Like I had said, I already went through the kit and had pulled everything with the colors I was working with, so this was pretty easy too. I tucked some flowers behind the upper right side of my photo and then to the lower left. I had also pulled that adorable little horse and wanted to use it, so I tucked it in to the left of the photo too. In the kit there are some really pretty bows too, and I thought that one would look so cute on the horse, so I added it around its neck.
The upper left corner of my layout was looking a little bare so I added a few embellishments there too. Then I pulled out some gold Heidi shine from my stash and added some splatters. And then I thought that I could add a little more purple to this layout by adding a border on two of the sides. I ripped my paper up a little and then added the paper to the back and had another little pop of purple and a bit more balance to my layout.
I hope you liked this layout and I hope you head over to the clique kits shop and check out all the beautiful kits that are there!

Smile | Bramble Fox
Good morning everyone!! I want to share another layout I made featuring a beautiful Perspextives from Bramble Fox. I love these Perspextives, they make it so easy to create a title or embellish your you/ project.
I started my layout with my picture and Perspextives. Thats what set the whole thing up for me. I saw this Perspextives and knew it went perfect for my picture of my little miss. I grabbed one of my past kits from Clique kits, pulled out some of the scrap papers i had and started layering them behind my photo.
I knew with the title/Perspextives being in blue, that I wanted some kind of blue here and there in my layout. I layered little bits of paper I had behind my photo and then grabbed a few tabs as well and added those.
After I got the photo layers the way I wanted them I moved on to the left of my layout. I knew I wanted everything else to be on the left since she was looking that way.
I actually caught this little miss looking out the window watching the squirrels play in the yard when I snapped this one. She was getting a kick out of them running about in the yard.
In the kit I was using I had that pretty vellum with rainbows on it and had to use it. I also pulled that big butterfly out of my stash and wanted to use it too.
I tucked bits and pieces here and there until I got it how I liked. I tied some thin twine around the Perspextives and had them hang from there onto the layout and I was happy and thought I was ready to adhere everything down but then I decided to do a little mixed media on the background. I grabbed my tattered rose distressed oxide and did some splatters. It matched some of the colors in my papers perfectly and then I was happy. I adhered everything down, typed my journaling up on my typewriter and placed that to the left of the dangling tags and was done.
I hope you enjoyed the layout I created! Make sure to go check out the Bramble Fox shop and go check out the new April fox box!!

Fab | Bramble Fox DT
Good morning, everyone!! I am excited to be sharing my first layout for the Bramble Fox design team. I am using the Fab frame perspextive, this is an exclusive in the March Fox Box, but I couldn't resist because it was perfect for my layout!
So, starting this layout, I knew I was going to use the Fab Frame so I worked everything around that and my photos really. I pulled out my stash/scrap bucket in my crafty room and started pulling things that I thought would go with it and make my layout what I wanted.
I layerd bits and pieces out on my layout where I thought I would want them and decided that I wanted more color and contrast in the background. I pulled out some watercolors I have and picked a bright yellow and started playing with it across the background, along with some black splatters.
Once the backgrounds was dry, I layed my ephemera back where I had had them in the first place to make sure I still liked it. I did lol. But I didn’t want everything stuck flat. So, I took small amount of adhesive and just tacked the pieces down and then ran my layout through my sewing machine a few time. This was allowing some pieces to still curl up or have dome dimension on my layout.
I added a few scrap layers behind my photos, popped those up on some dimensional adhesive and added that to my layout as well.
I tucked a few labels behind my photos and then went to attach my title, the Fab frame Persepextive. I still though there was still too much blank space at the bottom of my layout so I decided to rip a strip off and layer a black and white grip beind it. I popped a few black start puffy stickers on the layout and called it done.
I hope you enjoyed this layout and I hope you come back to see me. Make sure you go check out the shop with all the beautiful new items all the time along with the FoxBox You can also come check out the BrambleFox facebook page and the Bramblefox friends page. We would love to see what you create to and there are challenges you can participate in.

My Unicorn | Clique Kit Design team
Good morning everyone! I hope your week went good. Me, I'm just happy it's Friday!
Well I have been listening to A Storytellers podcast and one really made me thing. I have always had an issues with journaling on my layouts. I usually use my memory planner for more of that really. But I realized when listening to one episode, that I'd never wrote down or told the story of my last littles birth. The pregnancy or anything. So, I thought it was time to do that. That's what this layout is.
I used the Happy Blooms kit for this layout. I loved the pretty colors and embellishments, there was just so much to choose from lol. I picked a large picture of my little miss for this layout because I wanted her to be the center of attention. She was so small and cute lol
I started by going through my kit and pulling anything I thought I might want to use and setting it to the side. I picked my background, added a strip of that pretty floral paper to the the top and then stuck my picture down. Then I tried to figure out where I was going to put my journaling. I knew it was going to be quite a bit. I decided I needed to write it out to see how much room it was going to take and it tool a lot!
At this point I knew it wasn't going to fit on the layout itself, so I cut it down in to strips that would go in a pocket. So that made my decision of how I would get it all in there. Then to make the pocket.
I grabbed two other papers from the kit, it wasn't easy lol, I love them all. I punched a scalloped border out of the pretty pink one and cut a strip of that pretty, smaller floral. I made sure it was big enough to almost completely cover my journaling, than I pulled out my sewing machine and sewed it to my layout.
I liked this better anyways, it added more color to the bottom of my layout and gave me a place to put all the journaling I had done.
Once I had sewed my pocket down I slid my journaling in and moved on to adding my title and pretty things.
I knew what my title was going to be before I even started the layout. It is private, my daughter will read about it later in her life, but My Unicorn definitely fit. I grabbed the embellishments I had pulled previously and started laying them here and there on my layout, until I got the combo or look I wanted. Making sure to do my little embellishment triangle.
I tucked tags and florals here and there, making it look pretty. But my biggest thought was getting down her story. So she could go back when she was older and read the things that happened through my pregnancy with her and read how happy I was she was there.
Do any of you avoid journaling on your layouts? Do you hid it like I did? Well I would love to see how you do yours. And make sure to head over to the Clique kits shop and check out the past kits and all the lovely new ones that are there too! Happy scraping!
