No Regrets | Bramble Fox CT

Good morning everyone!! I am having fun playing with perspextives from the May Fox box. This time I chose to use the No Regrets perspextive. I had decided to climb a mountain a while back, glad I did it them, I got sick shortly after lol. I had been wanting to do this forever! But never managed to be able to. I am not going to lie, it was a little more than I bargained for lol. But I made it to the top and it was amazing! I will be doing it again! But for this layout I only used one of the photos I took while climbing, and actually this was at the very top. Spent a little time up there taking pictures and just taking it all in. I loved it! I thought that the no regrets went perfect with this!
I had grabbed the new Heidi Swapp collection Sun Chaser from my stash and pulled out a sheet that had these wonky circles all over it and decided to cut them out and ruff them up and place them on the white cardstock. This made the background busy enough that I really didn't need to add a ton more to it. So I moved on to my photo itself.
I added 2 different layers behind my photo. I knew that I wanted a area that I could place a tag to have my journaling about the experience. So in between the layers I made sure to tape off a section big enough for my tag to slid into.
At this point I wanted to add my title and that was this beautiful perspextive, No Regrets. I added it to the bottom of my photo, off to the right. But I knew I wanted a little more, but not to much, since the background was so busy. I pulled out the sticker sheet from the collection and found a few that I fet went well with this picture and added those, along with a few label stickers and then I grabbed a stamp and stamped a few things. At this point I thought it would be a good idea to add that cute little camera perspextive that said smile and place it all the way down at the bottom. That was it for this layout for me. I like the way it turned out and I feel like these went so well with the idea I had in mind! Make sure to check out the new items in the shop and check out the Fox box too!

oofy Love | Clique Kits Design Team

Good morning everyone!! How have you been doing? I was sick for a bit, but am feeling so much better now! Finally good enough to do a little scrapping! Clique kits has a bunch of new kits in the shop and I was so excited to play with the new Happy hearts kit! PinkFresh studio always has a ton of amazing stuff in their collections!
Ok so I'm not going to lie. I have used kits or collections in the past that had some of these really cute embroidery hoops and I had a hard time using them, so I thought what better way to start off using this kit, then to use them first? Well I had a fun goofy picture of my daughter and her fruit kabob and thought this would work, lol. I pulled the wood accents pack from the kit and chose 5 of them to use. I dipped into the ephemera pack and grabber a few of the paper embroidery hoops from there too.
I started with a piece of white cardstock, grabbed some stamps from the stash and a few distressed oxides ( you can find them in the shop too), and stamped some little splatters here and there. I knew I wanted my photo to go in the center of the page and the circles to go on either side to I started to pick where I wanted the circles to go and in what order. I knew I didn't want both pieces with writing in them to go next to each other and I also knew that I had the one blue and one purple piece and I wanted them on opposite sides too.
I placed all the circles down, decided to grab a few flowers and tuck them in behind some of the embroidery hoops just to add a little more. Then I decided instead of leaving my photo with nothing but a white mat, that I would add a few layers behind it and pop it up on 3d foam. I chose one of the words from the title ephemera, Love, and pulled the beautiful gold alphabet and added goofy to the tops of my photo. To finish off the layout, I decided to grab a couple of the cute butterflies from the ephemera pack and add those going away from the photo at the top. And that finished my layout! I hope you liked my layout and make sure you head over to the shop and check out all the pretty things there!

Cherish the little things | Bramble Fox CT

Hello everyone!! This year I gave myself the freedom to try new things and I thought I would really give myself a go at pocket scrapbooking. I have done it before, but usually only for holidays. But I like the way it looks and it seems easy to get into, so I thought I would try.
I had done a layout in the past with leftovers from a kit I had from Clique kits and just realized I had actually called it the wrong name lol. These papers are from the Keepin it real kit and I had to use them again because I love purple and they go amazingly with May Foxbox pieces!
I have to be honest, I didn't quite know how I was going to set this up, I knew the pieces I wanted to use and the photos. So I started playing. I started on the right side with the 2 4x6 slips and made my title card. This may not be how others do it, but I am learning. I wanted to keep it light and airy, but realized when I had finished with my right side, that I had added quite a lit.lol. After layering the papers on my title card and adding the little bits and bobs, I added the beautiful Cherish the little things Perspextive and loved it. Then moved to my lower card.
I had two little instax photos of my girls playing on their beds and wanted to use those. They may not be the best but they show the goofy, sweet little girls I have. I continued with some of the same paper from the top card and a few little word stickers and the purple heart perspextives. At this point I had two other pictures I wanted to use so I moved over to the left side, on the new page.
I decided to add the two pictures and have a few filler cards. I didn't want a lot attached to this page so I added some patterned paper and then placed a grey frame down from Aprils foxbox, slid a floral ephemera in there and popped on that cute always perspextive and left it at that. I did pretty much the same thing to the one diagonal from it, but i turned the fame the opposite way and added the best perspextive.
I added my photos opposite of eachother and added a label sticker to one, with a little word sticker and added a word sticker to the top one too. A placed a few little enamel dots around and called it done. I am hoping to get better at this and I hope you come along for the ride. Make sure to head over to the shop and check out all the Amazing new items!

Crafting 365 | Bramble Fox CT

Hello everyone!! I hope your week is going good! Sarah here today to share a new layout with you using the Craft365 Perspextives and the Crafty Bits. I have to say I squealed a little when I got my box and saw these, I love them!
I grabbed one of my Clique kits and started playing. I had had quite a few pictures of some of the new crafty things I had got and thought this would be perfect for these Perspextives!
I really kept this layout simple. I wanted too with the fact that there were six photos and the background paper I used was so busy. I started with the background paper and then decided to cut a few strips of white cardstock and layer them on top of eachother, distressing the sides a bit. Once I did that and laid it down the center of the paper, I decided that I wanted to add the title/ Perspextive to the center of that and back it with a bit of paper behind the 365 and add some flower ephemera to the rest.
I played with where I wanted my photos, lining them up straight across the layout, clustering them here and there but in the end I decided to add three to the top right and thress to the bottom left and embellish from there. I stuck to of my photos in each set straight down to the layout and popped on up on dimensional foam to add some dimension and I thought I could tuck things under them here and there. But I actually ended up tucking some floral ephemera pieces from my kit under the pictures and adding my Perspextives on top lol. It just worked out that way.
I loved having the crafty bits to add to the layout too! They made perfect little pops to my layout! I hope you enjoyed this layout and I hope you head over to the shop and check everything out!! There are so many amazing things there waiting there for you to see!

Happy Memories | Clique Kits design team

Good morning everyone!! How is your day going? It looks like rain today, so I'm hoping for some scrappy time! But right now I thought I would share with you another layout that I made with the Best day kit from the Clique kits shop. It's still available too!! So make sure to go check it out! I have made so many layouts and projects with this kit, its amazing and I love it! I al trying to use up every last bit of it. And this layout came together so easily.
I had a goofy pic of my son at the store with the peep he picked out and wanted, so I decided, even though my picture is in black and white, I knew that the peep was yellow. So, I decided to grab some of the yellow paper and ephemera pieces from the kit and use those, along with some pretty blues, oranges and greens. I added a small strip of grey down the right side of the layout, followed by a strip of the yellow plaid. This way I had a place where my photo would sit and I could build from.
Once I had done that, I knew I wanted a place to add some journaling about the shopping trip and the peep he found and brought home, but with this being and 8.5x11, I didn't want to take up too much room with my journaling and make it feel crowded, so I grabbed one of the pockets from the kit and a few of the tags that fix easily in it and added them as a layer behind my photo. That itself ended up adding some dimension lol. After my journaling was done, I started to play with the ephemera pieces that I had pulled. Tucking bits and pieces here and there. I wanted to use that happy memories tag as my title, just for the fact that this was a happy memory and the tag was cute!
I tucked in some other tags, floral pieces, word sticker and that cute chipboard BFF piece and moved on. I felt there was too much white space. I pulled some of the pieces of ephemera I had left, from what I had pulled earlier and started making little clusters out of them till I was happy with the way they looked. I added one to the top, with a sticker that said Photo op and a chipboard circle and then another to the bottom with little bits and pieces that were left over and cut off from pieces I had already used on the page. Yeah I like to try and use it all!! lol I decided to use some of my distressed oxide, mix two colors, pumice stone and black soot, and added some platters and that was it for this layout. I hope you liked this layout and make sure you head over to the shop and see all the beautiful kits there are!!
