Fruity little love / Bella Blvd DT

Good morning everyone!!
Today I'm sharing a layout with you for the Bella Blvd design team and my assignment this week was to use at least 4 different washi tapes on a layout. My problem was finding just 4 lol.
Well I finally found the 4 that I wanted to use, I already had an idea of what I wanted to do, so I cut out a cut-file and then went to covering it with the washi tapes I had chosen. I used some of the new ones from the Squeeze the day collection and a few others I had in my stash of Bella goodies.
I grabbed the Bella Besties and went through them, trying to find just the right color for my background and landed on bell pepper. I loved the brightness it brought to the layout and I wanted this layout to be fun and bright, just like my little goofy girl in the pictures.
I laid my cut-file on the background I had chose, backed my photos and then decided I wanted something to the right of my layout, a way to use another washi. So I grabbed one of my punched and cut a boarder down the side and laid a few strips of break rules washi and attached it to the bell pepper paper.
Once I did that, I backed my photos with some white cardstock, tucked them into my cut-file and then went to playing with all the fun embellishments that came along with the Squeeze the day collection
I tucked some of the fruit ephemera around the layout, making little clusters and then moved on to the word ephemera and added bits and pieces of those around the layout as well.
I pulled some of the Heart hugs out and used some of the enamel dots off the sheet and placed them around the layout, played with a few of the stickers from the Doohicky sticker sheet and then jumped into the ciao chips and epoxy icons.
Those are just so stinking cute!! I pulled some of the Florence and Wonky alphas and finished off my title and was finished with the layout!
I cant wait to play even more with this collection! Its so bright and playful and there are so many things you can do with it!
I hope you come back and check out what I get up to with this collection and others from Bella, you can check me out on instagram too, to see more of what I do!

Squeeze the day collection: Ephemera Icons, Ephemera words, Doohicky sticker sheet, Ciao Chip icons, Epoxy Icons, Fresh and Fab washi, Sweetness washi
Ice dot washi, Break rules washi

Paper Sweeties and Pink & Main blog hop!!

Good morning everyone!!
Today is the Paper Sweeties and Pink & Main Joint  Blog Hop!! And on top of that its Paper Sweeties 7th Birthday!!
I'm sharing a layout today using Pink & Main products and they are just so cute!! On the plus, I found some older pictures of one of my boys from a past birthday and thought I would use those to play with this collection.
I started by cutting my pictures into circles and adding some of the pink and main papers as a mat behind them in a bit bigger circle.

I placed the photos and there mats around the cardstock where I wanted them and then decided that I wanted to keep the circle theme going. I grabbed the Pink & Main papers and started running them through my die cutting machine, making them different sizes.
I ruffed up the sides of all the circles, to add some texture to the layout. I laid them around the layout, I moved them around here and there, couldn't quite figure out where I wanted them, so I swiped them all off the layout and moved on to making the title.

I used the B side of one of the papers from the pack and cut happy birthday out as the shadow and then the more intricate happy birthday to layer on top. I stuck them together and then popped them up on some 3d foam and added it to the layout.

Once I had that on there I decided to pop some of the other circles up on 3d foam and then add some of the others on there as well. I placed them here and there and then grabbed the beautiful glossy dots and added them around the layout as well. I splattered some shimmerz from my stash over the layout and was done.
Thanks so much for coming by and checking out my layout and make sure to check out the rest of the design teams projects too along with the Pink & Main girls as well!

Paper Sweeties August 2019 New Release Rewind!

Good morning everyone!!
Today is the rewind and I wanted to share my week in my planner this month.
I always change up my planer, I use to have to have it where the entire month was the same collection all the way through, but I realized I wasn't happy with that. What if I was using a collection that wasn't good for some occasion that we were celebrating, so I decided to use whatever I want on the week I'm working on, so that I'm happy with it. And I did that this week.
I used bits and pieces from a few different collections and manufactures and I was really happy with the way this turned out.
This week was one of my daughters birthdays, I know I've said that a bunch, but its a big thing in our family lol. We had a blast, more importantly, she had a blast!
I started with washi where I wanted it. I liked the bright color and then some polkadots in there. Love me some polkadots!
I stamped a little here and there, cut out a bunch of cute cupcakes and them moved to adding color to those. I love that you can chose the color of frosting and the cupcake holder, it adds more to the spread over all.
I added a few photos, and started to add more around them and build from there.
I added some chipboard pieces, cute little words, I love that I can use my stash for this! The colors all worked great together and then I continued to build more on my spread, adding more washi, cupcakes and word stickers.
I finished my spread by adding a little envelope so that I could slide a card in with some little bits about the day, so that not only I would remember it but that she would have it to look at later in life. About the day she had with so much of her friends and family around.

Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I did today, make sure to check out the rest of the Paper Sweeties team and see what they did today as well!

Paper Sweeties August 2019 New Release Party! Hooray

Good morning everyone!!
I'm here sharing a new layout for Paper Sweeties New Release Party!! This month is the 7th Anniversary! And in kind these sweet stamps and dies were released.

This month just happens to be one of my littles birthday month too. So I got to put these cute little cupcakes on my layout! They worked perfectly!!
I had printed out a photo strip of my daughter blowing out her candles and getting cake pushed in her face, lol. I knew I wanted to stick in the family of pinks and yellows. They are some of the colors that say happy to me. I laid out all my pieces where I wanted them, to see if I like the set up, I thought there was a little to much white at the top of my layout so I decided to pull out some of my watercolors and play with the colors where I was going to add my photos and its layers.

I added different layers behind my photo strip and then popped it up on foam adhesive and placed it where I had added the watercolor. I moved to the bottom of my layout and started layering the papers, lables and such, until I was happy with it and then it was time to pull out my pretties from this months release!

I had cut my cupcakes out of some of the bits and pieces that were left in a mix of my collections and in my color scheme and assembled them. This it where I have fun! I mean, dont get me wrong, I love to add layers and play with watercolor, but I love adding all the pretty embellishments too!

I tucked some of the cute little cupcakes here and there in my layers at the bottom of my layout, followed by flowers and some stickers too. I thought the cupcakes represented the celebration just right!
Thank you for stopping by to see what I made today, make sure to head to the rest of the girls blogs too and see what everyone else has made with these cute stamps and dies!

Paper Sweeties August 2019 New Release Sneak Peeks!

Good morning everyone!!
Sarah here this morning to share with you a sneak peek of this months stamps and sweet cuts. They were perfect for me this month! My youngest turned 3 this month and the cute little cupcakes are just fantastic!
I thought I would share my mini album cover with yall today. I pulled an old crate paper collection out of my stash, it was already birthday themed so I thought it was appropriate and cute.

I pulled some of the flowers from the ephemera and used then to cut out parts of my cupcakes. This way there were added in sparkles and pretty patterned papers there too. I only added three of these cute cupcakes to the cover because that's how old she turned so I wanted to keep it there. On top of that, the cover was kind of small.
I thought it would be cute to use the cake platter, so I placed 2 of my cupcakes there and added the number 3 on top, this way it was front and center. I added my title but at this point hadn't put my 3rd cupcake down and decided I wanted to. So I added another to the bottom right of my album cover.
I think these little stamps and sweet cuts are fantastic and have been playing with them and cant wait to share more over the next couple of days with yall! make sure to stop back by and see what else I've come up with!
And make sure to head over and check out the Paper Sweeties shop and the rest of the girls blogs and see what they have created as well!!

Explore, Happy, Play / Bella Blvd DT

Good morning everyone!!
I'm going to be sharing a layout with Bella Blvds new Squeeze the day collection!! I mean, this collection is so amazing and fresh! I just love it!!

Good morning everyone!!
PicsArt_07-31-02.56.05
Ok not only do I love the new Squeeze the day collection, with its bright colors and happy patterns, but I really have a thing for the bella invisables! I think I may have one or two left, I love them added in as a layer on a layout. This one was a calendar, but you dont have to use it that way at all. I just love the way it adds more to the background.
PicsArt_07-31-02.59.40
I started with a Bella Besties for my background. I knew I wanted to use the invisible on my background too, so I actually started building my layout on it, before ever sticking anything to my background paper. I figured that doing it this way, I would be able to build my layout and then decided on what color I wanted the background to be, what complimented my layout.
I started with my pictures. I had three for this layout, I just had to decide if I wanted them to go vertical or horizontal. I ended up deciding to have them go with them horizontal. I backed each photo with a different patterned paper and then decide I wanted a patterned paper running behind my photos. And I love rainbows! So I went with that, it had a lot of white and pops of all the colors in the collection, so anything from the collection would work!
PicsArt_07-31-02.58.25
Once I chose the rainbow picture, I popped two of my photos up on 3d foam and stuck them all down. Then came trying to decide what embellishments I was going to use. And if you haven't seen this  collection, OH WOW are there a ton of ephemera pieces, stickers and all the epoxy pieces!! So for me it was hard not to use everything!!
I chose some of the pieces I wanted to use, set them aside and pulled out my acrylic words. This week we were to use acrylic words on out layout. Well I chose three different ones to use. It was super easy to chose the words for my title too. We were at the zoo in these pictures and we had do much fun while we were there. My youngest daughter got to to ride the carousel for the first time and oh did she love it, she didn't want to get off it! One of my other daughters wasn't so sure about it though and she held on for dear life. But it was all so much fun.
PicsArt_07-31-02.56.50
I picked where I wanted my title to go, I started from the top with the largest word and a white one, knowing that I had two white acrylic words and a green one, I decided to alternate them. So I placed them and started to embellish around my layout. I added a cluster up to the top left. I added some of the tags, epoxy fruit, ephemera heart and a sticker here and there. I did the same to the right of the photos and than down at the very bottom below the word play. Once I was happy with everything, I went through the Bella besties, sliding different colors behind my invisible, until I chose the ice color. I adheared everything to the background paper and was done.

Paper Sweeties Plan your life series- August 2019

Good morning everyone!!
Its August 1st and I'm here to share with you my August 2019 monthly spread.

I went quite simple this month. This month is sooooo busy!! Open houses for school, I have 3 different ones to go to in one night! A birthday party and a birthday, my schooling, travel and all kinds of stuff!! Lots of going this month, lol.
I added a few stickers here and there in my monthly spread, but the thing I liked the most was the planner stamps from Paper Sweeties
This month I used Business Basics, Everyday Basics, and the Vacation set as well.

These stamps come in so handy and they look amazing. This month I stayed with a grey ink and added all the stamps I needed. I love how it makes things look uniform, then I can pop in with my pen and add the details of whats all happening through the week.
All the different planner stamps work so well together, and great along with any of the other stamps from the shop. Usually I do add other stamps, but like I said this month I kept it pretty simple.
Thanks so much for coming by and checking out what I've done and make sure to head over to the rest of the designers Paper Sweeties design team members blogs and check out all the fun stuff they have done!
