XOXO Darling/Pretty little Studio feature Friday

Good morning everyone and happy Friday!! Yay its the first day of the weekend! We have family coming in to stay, so lots of fun here, what are your plans for the weekend??
Well this morning I'm here to share my first layout made with the beautiful With all my heat collection. This collection is beautiful online, but OMG its even more so in person!!!  Today I'm focusing on patterned papers.

I used multiple patterned papers to make a big impact and focus but its confined to just a few places on the layout.  I liked the idea of so many patterns on a layout but I wanted a way to separate them and draw focus, so I did this with cut-files. These gave me a way to add bright pops all over and have them focused right behind the photo and draw your eye in.

I put four different papers on one heart and then added a fifth behind a second heart, then layered a few labels with one of the word stickers and a pretty grey heart sticker.

I layered a few of the pretty flower stickers and dit-cuts before adding my title. I went simple with it, XOXO darling. I thought it was sweet for this little smiling picture of my daughter in her car seat.

I finished my layout out off with a little cluster in my upper left corner and that was it.
Everything in this collection is just amazing! I hope you enjoyed my take on featuring patterned papers on a layout out in a more minimal way, with a big impact.

Happy New Love/ Creative Scrappers

Good morning everyone, Sarah here this morning to share a layout using sketch #303.

I stuck really close to the sketch this month because I thought it worked perfect with these pictures of proud grandparents meeting there new granddaughter.

I used the pretty paper strips and sewed them down for a little texture. Of course I used a lot of pink since we had a new little girl and then I started layering and adding the title.

I added die-cuts and rub ons from the Pink Paislee, Moonstruck collection under the edge of the photos and in a few little clusters and some more femininity.  I finished it all off with some Heidi Swapp color shine and called it good.
I love how it turned out, I love the big title and the way the pictures stand out from everything else! I hope you like this layout and I would love to see what y'all create with this sketch whether it be a layout of any size, cards or some kind of altered project, we would love to see it all!!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! Ours is still going today! I was happy to find out we had a three day weekend and the kids have been loving it too!
Well this morning I'm here to share my second week of February with y'all. I just have to say that I love all the pretty colors and oh yes, Simon!! He's just so cute!
I have had a few busy weeks with the little ones. We've been bouncing around this nasty little cold, sinus infections and such, boo :( But right now it seems to have mellowed out and I hope it stays that way. I cut some of my planner pages down to where they fit and cover some of the planner boxes so that I can have that pop of color, I usually place it on the second page of my weekly spread, like I did here. I go in with my washi tape and cover the sectioned of lines and add more to the bottom strips that are there.
I use some of the DITL kit through out my planner here and there too, like the DITL cards over to the left. I attach it with some washi on the front and back for a little more security. I usually put this here for a pop of color, and because there cute! But I also use it to cover a little bit of journaling that I don't want right out there for everyone to see. Plus I'm not a huge fan of my own hand writing lol.
I like to add in pictures I take threw out the week of my littles and things that go on. I love that I can keep track of things that I may not scrap and I add things I still know I will scrap lol. Like my daughter pulling herself up and staying in the sitting position, or one of my other daughters falling to sleep in the car when we go get the other kiddos from school, almost every day this happens and it makes me laugh every time. I added some of the cute little stickers and tabs for some filler and to mark where things happened, like my parents coming to visit for the day or my littles starting to feel sick.
My sister came to stay the weekend, so I ended up with a TON of snap chat pictures, My kids love all the different filters! And I had to make sure to mark the Walking Dead returning!! We love watching that. And my oldest Valentines dance. I cut a few more things out of my planner pages and added them in. I love that when I have slower weeks like this and the past few, since we've all been sick around here, that I have such cute stickers, die cuts and tabs and such to liven up my pages. I added a few little heart puffy stickers from my stash and called it done for this week.
I hope you enjoyed my planner spread this week and I hope you come back to see what I have for you and I hope you stop by the Cocoa Daisy blog and check out what all the other Daisy girls are doing this week!! And Happy Monday!

Little Moments mini album/Pretty little Studio DT

Good morning everyone! Are you ready for the beginning of a new week??
I have to say that I'm not quite ready for it, we've had a long weekend and lots of house guests, but it has been fun!

Well I'm here today to share with you a mini album with you that I made for my MIL. She loves when I make her mini albums and I thought the Woodland collection would be great. I has a variety of colors that work well for boys and girls.

I started by picking the back ground paper and I used some of the package backing for bits and pieces of the mini album too. I mean, if the packaging is so cute, why not use it, right! lol.

I added tags, tabs and word stickers through out the mini and I ended up really happy with this mini.
I've added pictures of the rest of the album for you to look at and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Valentines day cards/Pretty little Studio DT

Hey everyone! Hows your week been going?
Min has been crazy! Well the last few weeks have been. I've had a house full of sick little ones. But it looks like things are looking and and I'm excited about that, especially since Valentines day is coming up!

So in anticipation of Valentines day I wanted to make my kiddos cards, I have to admit that its been to long since I've done this. I use to make cards all the time, every holiday. I never bought cards, why would I?? I have a room full of scrappy goodness, so I decided that this year I would go back to making them handmade!

I still have more to make, 6 kiddos here lol. But I sat down and started playing and really enjoyed making these cards. Adding the layers and not completely Valentine papers. Yes, I know there are hearts and sweet sayings, but its not ALL pink. lol.

I really enjoyed adding the layers, the combos of colors and the 3D pops of some of the pieces. I hope you enjoyed my cards today, like I said I have more to make, but I really enjoyed it. I think it was just what I needed. A small break from 12x12 layouts and doing something a little different. I have found that doing a switch up here and there keeps my mojo going.
