Life is sweet layout | Mercy Tiara Kit Club | Take me home kit

Good morning everyone!! I got my September kit from Mercy Tiara kits last night and I had to dive right in! I made a quick unboxing, you can find that on my youtube channel, along with a process video for this layout too,just a heads up lol. But I really had to dive right in and make a layout, I have other layouts with Augusts kit still, but I wanted to play. So here is my first layout with this kit.

I knew what pictures I wanted to scrap, these sweet ones of one of my daughters and this sweet horse that she loves to feed, brush, and talk to. This is probably one of her favorite things right now. I didn't want a white background so I went for the Bazzil mint cardstock with the cute little dots on it. I added a little TCW shimmery goodness out of my stash, jutst to add some shimmer to the layout.

I cut little strips from one of the Simple stories papers and a strip from one of the Fancy pants papers and added them to the top and bottom of the layout.

I'm not patient, so I started to add layers behind my pictures, tuck things here and there. Add my foam adhesivce and cut some more strips to comeout to the left of my layout.

I pulled out some frames form the ephemer, simple stores frame packet and pinkfresh studio ones as well and tucked them in here and there. I added my title at the bottom, added a few more of those rubons, I love them by the way! They work so well!! The I pulled those sweet, beautiful sequins and started plavcing them all over my layout until I was happy and then I called this lauyout done! Happy Halloween Mini Album | Clique kits DT

Hello everyone!! How are you doing? Been getting any scrapping done? Well I have. I pulled out the Happy Halloween Seasonal kit and decided to make a mini album. I love all the cute Fancy Pants papers!

I grabbed an old mini from my stash, it was an old Maya Roads tag mini. I pulled my Distressed Oxide in Black soot and just drug it over each page. The cover had texture on it so it looked great! The rest of the pages were plain, but I liked the distressed look it gave them. While that was drying a bit, I decided to grab some vellum and the Costume party paper and ran them through my sizzix.I wanted to add some little leaves here and there, but I thought I would add some fun shimmer to it too. I got the TWC Shimmery Goodness from the shop and a paintbrush and added it to those and let them dry.

I started with my cover, grabbing an orange chipboard piece from the li'l davis designs chipboards that came in the kit. I inked it, along with my circle title piece that I had punched out with my circle punch. Popped the chipboard up on some dimensional foam, along with the circle piece and slid a few of the leafy pieces behind it all. I pulled some puffy stars from my stash and a few word sticker sheets from my stash to use through my book too.

As I started on my pages, I grabbed my papers and started to cut rectangles and squares out and sat them aside. I also went through and fussy cut out multiple skulls and flowers so that I could embellish with them as well. By doing this, when I started my pages I could just grab pieces and layer them on my pages and move through my album. Inking all the edges as I went.

Having all these things pre-cut to size for my mini, along with embellishments, it made it all too easy to get this mini done fast. And with kiddos running around, fast is nice! lol I made sure to make little pockets, with tags and places to slide more pictures and journaling into.

I really had a lot of fun making this mini album and this kit is sooooo adorable! I hope you enjoyed this mini! This is Halloween mini book | Clique kits International DT

Good morning everyone!! Are y'all excited about halloween and fall?? I have already started decorating and doing some fun things with the kiddos! Usually I just make 12x12 layouts for every month and never in order, and I still plan on making some layouts, but with things going on here I thought, well hey why not make a mini for the month and document everything like I do in December? So I did lol.

I started with an older Maya Roades album I had in my stash. Did a little white dry brush strokes, pulled out my TCW marigold stencil butter from my explore mixed media Halloween kit and started to play with this. After that dried, I grabbed some ink from my stash and grunged up the cover a bit. I pulled my alphas from my A little scary seasonal kit and put my title on the cover along with a few paper strips and a too cute ghost and some balloons.

I moved to the inside cover and decided to make a pocket so that I can stick extra stuff like movie lists for october and a good Halloween playlist for the month. But I still have room do I can stash some more things in there too. On my 1st page I had to use that little witch. She is just soo cute and I also wanted to document that this was Halloween 2021, so I made that pretty big. But I like the way it turned out. I ruffed up the edges and added a cut little spider too.

I mean, really! Isn't she so cute!

Next I moved on to my 1st real page about the 1st halloween movie we watched this month. I love Hocus Pocus and me and the kids like to sit down and watch it. Along with other movies we watch in October. I did a little paper layering on most of my inserts, I had to make sure to get some of that beautiful lace in there too. I made sure I had a journaling spot on my 2nd page so I could write about what we did. Like our 1st bonfire of the year!! The kids loved it! It had finally gotten cool enough outside to have a nice big bonfire and we stayed up late talking and playing. I can't wait for more of these!

I moved on to my last page for this week and added pictures of the bonfire we had. When we 1st started it and then when it was dying down at the end of the night, along with some fun little selfies with my girls that we took playing out there, cuddled up and having some good family time.

I wanted to use some cute 3x4 pocket cards I had as well, so I slipped some of them into pockets. Cut out some of my own tags from the pretty paper and aded embellishments here and there for some more pop.
