Good morning everyone! How was your weekend?? I hope it was a good one!

Im here to share with you a few cards that I made for some friends.

I started with some white cardstock and grabbed my With all my heart collection and started to get at it. With the first cards, Thinking of you, I cut some strips of that beautiful green brush stroke paper for the top and bottom of the card. Then I grabbed mt 1 inch circle punch and punched out circles from a few different papers. I placed them where I wanted them, added a few flowers and a sticker phrase with the thinking of you. Then I ran a line of stitching through the circles and the borders.
The second card I cut a strip of stripped paper for the bottom of the card,  I cut out a strip of the same paper for a little pennant, added a piece of that pretty flower washi, a label and the thank you. I finished this one off with some machine stitching and that was it.
These were very simple cards but I love the white space and the bright colors. I hope you enjoyed seeing them today and make sure to check out what all the other awesome projects the other ladies have made!

Lake Love/ Pretty little Studio DT

Good morning everyone! How are you today?? Its Fiday!! Yay!!
Well this morning I'm here to share with you a layout I made with the With all my heart collection.

Its getting that time again, Summer is coming and man oh man am I jonesing for sometime on the lake! I found this picture from last summer and thought I'd scrap it, witch kinda made me miss it more! lol So I started off with a sheet of light blue cardstock and covered it with a sheet of vellum. I cut out the cloud ring cutfile to add into the layering.

I matted my photo, stuck the cutfile down and popped a pretty little doily behind it. I pulled out my tags and layered a few here and there. I added my title at the bottom of the picture.

I added a few strips of washi to the top and bottom and a few word stickers and to finish it all off i decided to add a little bit of stitching. I love that it added a bit of texture but still kept it nice and airy. I hoe you enjoyed my layout and I would love to see what you create with this beautiful collection.

Hello Flawless/Creating with sketches

Hello everyone!! Sarah here today to share with you my take on this months sketch, #305 and oh man did I love this one!! And I loved this months sponsors too! The Cut Shoppe , Ashley has so many different cut files, I loved working with them! Here's my layout.

I started my layout with a white background at first and then decided to change it up to a wood grain background. I wanted my cut files to pop a little more and on the white background it just wasn't happening.

I added a little a few layers behind my photos and then went to backing my cutfiles. After I backed my cutfiles I placed them on my background where I wanted them and started to layers my photos with other cutfiles.

Then I started to add little embellishments here and there, with a bit of dimension to some of them and some wood pieces, a rub on title and added a few sequins.

We would love to see what you create with this sketch too, so make sure to share your creations on Instagram  using #creatingwithsketches  I hope you enjoyed my take on this months sketch and I would love for you to follow me on Instagram
Thanks so much and cant wait to see what you create!!

April planning week one / Cocoa Daisy

Good morning everyone! I'm here to share with you my 1st week spread in my April planner.

Like I've said before, I set my planner up like a lot of people do. I write in what I already know I have planned, add a little decorating and then wait for the day to day to come along and add things in.
I like to change things up when I'm playing in my planner.  I like to add sticky notes, and I always love the ones that come in the kit! And I like to add in some of the DITL cards! There are always ones that match from the DITL kit that seem to match.
This week my Wednesday was my busiest day, I had so much to go threw here at my house. I guess starting my spring cleaning, and man oh man was it needed!! I didn't quite make it through my whole list but I did manage to get through most of it in one day! Huge plus for me! I did get it all done this week though! But I also managed to go out and spend some time with the kiddos and have some fun!

This week I added in a DITL card as a flip up. I wanted it for the pop of color and for the functionality of it. I love to add pictures into my planner, I do a lot of small pictures that fit in to the day to day boxes, but I like to add in some larger ones here and there too. The pictures may not be anything major, just a smile caught, but I love that I can look back and see pictures and remember what was going on at that time.
I layered in some of that beautiful dotted washi and some of those pretty butterflies, I love all the pretties! Sometimes I have to really work on not using all of them on one spread! I have to remind myself that there are 3 more weeks in the month! lol
I hope you liked this little peek into my April planner so far, I will be sharing more and I hope you follow along to see!

Hello everyone!! How was your weekend?? Good I hope!
Sarah here today to share a sign I made for my front door, using the With all my Heart collection.
I used my Silhouette to cut out my sign shape, I cut a few sheets of the chipboard and adhered them together to get the thickness I wanted, and covered it for my base.

After I got the background done, I grabbed the green paper that looked like it was painted and punched it with one of my punches to add some texture. I cut those strips in to different size pieces and adhered them down. As you can tell I was going for it to look like grass, because I had to have a place for my little bunny to sit! So I cut  my bunny out, placed him on one of those doilies I love so much! And added a little heart for his fluffy little tail. I liked my little bunny and all but I wanted more around him, so I grabbed some of the beautiful flower stickers and die cuts from the kit and went to town layering them!

I played with everything till I was happy with it and then moved on to the words I wanted on it. I found that pretty diagonal striped paper and drew out my letters and then cut them out. I adhered them down and drew lightly around them so that they stood out a little more.

Then I realized there was a little to much blank space for my liking to the bottom left, so I decided to reach back in to what I had and make a little cluster over there. I added a pretty little frame and some more stickers.

I was like, Ok I'm finished! And then I was like, hummm I think I want some more flowers on here, soooooo...
Of course I grabbed some of the flowers and added them behind some of my letters. I was so much happier after I did that, I mean come on, who can have to many flowers?? lol. I always like having signs hanging on my door for holidays and I love making new ones and this collection was so perfect for it!!
I hope you enjoyed this sign I made!
