Let's Go! | Clique kits International

​Good morning everyone!! I am here today to share with you a little spread I did in my Maggie Holmes planner, that I'm using in a bit of a different way. I got this planner from the Clique kits shop and I have to say I love it! Along witht the beautiful Artist Remix kit chock full of Vicki Boutin loveliness! I will say there are parts of this spread that look a little blank, but I left that for a bit of journaling, that I added after I took my pictures.

I started by picking way to many photos, lol. Then changing the background color on the left side page so that I could layer on top of it with other pretties from the kit. I did a little stamping, I chose my postcard stamp for the fact that everyone else in these pics don't live close. This was a special time for our family. It had been 4 years since we had seen each other, so we picked a place and all met up there and spent 11 amazing days getting to know the little ones we had never met and getting to pick and play with everyone else.

Ok went a bit off topic there, lol. But I started layering bits and pieces here and there, behind the group picture of all of us. I added my title and moved on to the next page, where I added too many pics, but they all needed to make it. And to be honest, I actually cut back on the photos casue I have a TON more!

I created my own little photo strips and photo blocks. I really didn't have to add a ton to this spread. The few things that I did add, like that cute camera and title I chose for that page. I added a little layering and tabs behind my photos and that was it. Well that's all I pictures. There was a lot to record here and I know I went beyond the bit of space that was shown here. I had a blast and this is something my family tries to do at least every 4 years. There are a lot of us and not everyone got to come, but we try to make sure that we all get to see each other and have some fun. Paper Sweeties August 2019 New Release Rewind!

Good morning everyone!!

Today is the rewind and I wanted to share my week in my planner this month. 

I always change up my planer, I use to have to have it where the entire month was the same collection all the way through, but I realized I wasn't happy with that. What if I was using a collection that wasn't good for some occasion that we were celebrating, so I decided to use whatever I want on the week I'm working on, so that I'm happy with it. And I did that this week.

 

I used bits and pieces from a few different collections and manufactures and I was really happy with the way this turned out.

This week was one of my daughters birthdays, I know I've said that a bunch, but its a big thing in our family lol. We had a blast, more importantly, she had a blast!

I started with washi where I wanted it. I liked the bright color and then some polkadots in there. Love me some polkadots!

 

I stamped a little here and there, cut out a bunch of cute cupcakes and them moved to adding color to those. I love that you can chose the color of frosting and the cupcake holder, it adds more to the spread over all.

 

I added a few photos, and started to add more around them and build from there.

 

I added some chipboard pieces, cute little words, I love that I can use my stash for this! The colors all worked great together and then I continued to build more on my spread, adding more washi, cupcakes and word stickers. 

 

I finished my spread by adding a little envelope so that I could slide a card in with some little bits about the day, so that not only I would remember it but that she would have it to look at later in life. About the day she had with so much of her friends and family around.

Paper Sweeties July 2019 New Release Rewind!

Good morning everyone!!

I'm here this morning to share with you some new stamps from Paper Sweeties!!

 

I know you've already seen my planner spreads for this month, but I up dated it a but with some of the fun stamps from this months new releases. They go so well with last months stamps and sweet cuts too!!

 

I know that my pictures from the zoo have nothing to do with the beach but its my planner so I can make it look however I want lol. So I added the cute light houses, boats, anchors and more. I thought they were great together and sooooo cute.

 

I loved the fact that even though these are beachy stamp sets that they still can make a little planner spread look great!

 

I hope you enjoyed seeing my spread, I love to do my memory planning. I love to use the extra space in my planner, to journal about what went, cute little details and all.
