Hip Kit club CT/ Love you Rose

Good morning everyone. I've been MIA for a weeks or so and I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I have been sick! And it has not been fun. But I'm back and I have a pretty layout that I created with this months January Hip Kits!!

My daughter is over 3 now and I hadn't scrapped this photo and when I saw the papers and embellishments in this kit, I knew I had found the right stuff to scrap it with! I used Crate paper, Hello,love My valentine paper for the background, I loved it, but I decided to tone down the background a bit with a piece of American crafts vellum from the Carsdstock kit and a little white wash on the top and faded it out towards the middle to made it look omber under the vellum. I just added a little bit of white paint to water to make it fade out just a little.

Next I grabber this beautiful cut file that the lovely Kim Watson made for the Hip Kit club this month. 

I used a lot of the pretty Crate paper Hello, love collection to embellish this layout. Everything was so pretty! And I loved all the gold!!

I added a a few touches from the My Minds Eye, My story brads sheet, with little messy clumps of gold thread here and there and those lovely Hip Kit exclusive acrylic confetti pieces from the Embellishment kit! 

I wanted this layout to be simple, but pretty, this was a special day and I wanted it to be shown that way as well. I love that my husband managed to get this sweet shot of me and her.

Hip Kit CT/ Happy together

Hello everyone!! I'm sorry my post didn't post this morning, I didnt even notice till a few minutes ago. I got a little error code when I tried to get into my old post,lol, oh well. 

I do have a little layout to share with you thought that I made using Hip Kit clubs January kits!! I squealed when these showed up on my door step! They are jam packed with so many pretty things!!

This was quite a quick layout.  I grabbed a few photos of my hubby with our girls and matted them on some white cardstock from the cardstock kit and then I matted those onto the fountain blue cardstock. After that I grabbed my main kit and went threw the papers and grabbed this pretty polka doted one by Crater paper, from there Hello love line. I used both sides of that paper, the other side it a pretty light pink with white xoxo on it, love it!! 

I grabbed the American crafts washi, ripped it the way I wanted it and put it across my layout. I added a strip of the fountain cardstock and the pretty polka doted paper across the top and bottom and then started embellishing. And oh man, there are so many pretty embellishments in these kits!! 

Im loving the pretty blue acrylic circles that came in the kit and are exclusive to hip kit! there are beautiful gold rub ons, and other rum obs from My mind eye. And so many products from the Crate paper, Hello love collection!!

Hip Kit club CT/ Hello 30

Good morning everyone!! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Years!! We have brought in the new years in our house by being sick! What a fun way to bring in the new years, but its ok, everyone seems to be getting better, major plus.

Well I'm sharing a layout today that I made with my December Hip kits. These kits have been amazing and next months are going to be fantastic too!! If you haven't checked it out yet you really need too!! 

Anyways, back to the layout I made, lol. I turned 30 this past September and I loved this confetti, gold glitter, acetate page that came in this kit, it made me think of a party. 

I used these amazing American Crafts DIYshop thickers for the beginning of my title. I have to say I really love these thickers! They have a fabric/ canvas feel to them and man do these babies take color so well! I went and ordered me a few more packages so I can keep playing with them. They take color so well with so many different mediums!

Ok so I turned 30 and wasn't quite sure how I felt about that, so I wanted to have a bit of fun with this layout and make myself feel a little better lol. But really, I'm ok with being 30 lol, but I did have fun with this layout and I was so happy to get into my Embellishment kit and grab so many of these pretty cardstock pieces from the Maggie Holmes ephemera pack. And that chipboard zebra from the main kit, I was so happy to used that cute little thing!!

I added a TON of layers for this layout. I enjoyed doing this and slipped little pieces of that pretty American Crafts peacock glitter tape in between some of them, along with some of the pretty tabs and tags from the ephemera pack. And I added little thread bunches here and there. After adding a few layers to the bottom along with my cute little friend there, I finished off my layout with some Heidi Swapp, Gold Lame color shine! 

I really hope you enjoyed my layout and I'm hoping now that I'm getting better and the holidays are over, that I'll get back to my normal posts on Tuesdays and Thursdays at least. Sorry for the missing posts during the holidays.
