Scrappy Saturday- Love this guy/SpiegleMomScraps DT

Good morning everyone!! I'm here this morning to share a new layout with you. Y'all have probably already seen this sketch but thought I'd share it again to show you what I got my inspiration from.
I loved this sketch as soon as I saw it!! I started with a sheet of white cardstock, I lightly drew on a circle and grabbed Aint life Grand from my stash and started to punch out different sized circles.
I laid the circles I punched out around the circle I had drawn on, but wanted more circles, so I grabbed the circle stickers and die cuts from this collection and layered them in with the other circles. When I had them all where I wanted them I ran my page threw my sewing machine.

Once I had my circles stitched down and a few messy circles sewn, I grabbed my photo and added a few paper layers behind it. I messed up the edges some and then popped it all up on 3D foam, added a xoxoxo tab and stuck it down. I grabbed some word stickers from my stash and added them above and below my photo and moved onto adding my sequins!

To finish my layout, I reached into my lovely basket of sequin packets and grabbed out Puppy Dog Tails and Hustle Bustle. The colors were perfect, so I started to add them around my sewn circles.  I loved the shine it added to my layout and the color pops it added to the top of my layout too! I decided to add a navy polkadot paper as a boarder around my whole layout and added a little Heidi Swapp gold color shine splatters and was done!
Thanks so much for checking out my layout and make sure to check out what all the other Sparklers make too!! Head over to the shop and check out all the new sequins too!!

She Glows/ Pretty Little Studio DT

Good morning everyone!! Im here this morning to share with you a layout I made thats a mix of two collection from Pretty Little Studios with a bit of mixed media added in!

This layout is of a friend of mine ate her baby shower and she just looked amazing and like she was glowing, witch is where I got the title, lol.

I started this layout by pulling out some of my Shimmerz products, playing with some of the dazzlerz on the background to add some texture and when that dried I pulled out a few sprays and played with the packaging technique, while that was drying I started playing with some layering behind my photos.

I pulled out some of the journaling cards from With all my Heart and Blooming Hearts and started the layering process. I backed my pictures with a small white boarder and then added Romantic Lace from Blooming Hearts. I added some packaging behind the jounaling cards and a pretty lacy doily. I tucked a few tabs, lables and flowers around the photos.

Then I moved to the left side of the page and pulled out a die cut word from Ashley Hortons line, Aint life grand and wanted to use it, I mean shes pregnant and fixing to have her amazing little girl, so I thought it went well! lol I used the heart vellum tape with a few flowers from With all my heart and a few from Blooming Hearts and it went well together.

To finish off my layout I wanted a little more black and white, so I dipped into my stash and cut two strips of black and white stripped paper and added that to the top and bottom of my layout and added she glows to the top of the photo cluster and was done.

I hope you enjoyed this layout, with the mix and match of the collections!

Ain't life grand / 12x12 layout

Good morning everyone!
Ugh! the weekend is over and a new week begins, but really I'm ok with that, we have some fun planned this week and as long as the weather stays nice!

This week I started out with the Dream Big collection sitting on my desk. I went threw and pulled out some of the blues and yellows. I loved the patterned paper with the black circles with white speckles, so I grabbed that one to and that was the pallet for my page.
I chose a larger photo for this layout, I've been seeing it everywhere lately.I didn't go quite as big as some, but a 5x7 was big for me!lol I popped out a few of the black circles and then went back and punched out some of the yellow and blue in circles too.
I layered a bracket card behind my photo and layered a few papers behind my photo. I wanted more at the bottom of the photo so I pulled out my labels and layered a few of those there too. I also cut a strip off of my Never forget clear page and sewed it to the right side of the layout for a pop of color.

I knew I wanted to wanted my title to the left of the photo, one reason I made the layered cluster there. I pulled in a few things from the Ain't life grand collection. I loved the word die-cuts and really wanted to use this one on my little guys layout. I finished up my layout by adding come silver splatters and a bit of sewing and that was it.
This layout wasn't something that was a big grand thing, but I love how the picture was front and center with little pops of color.
Hope your week starts good and that you get some scrappy time this week too!

Hello everyone! Sarah here this morning, I'm playing with the new line Ain't life grand collection again today with a layout about my youngest daughters check up.

The pictures aren't the best of my daughter, but they were just snapped quickly with my cell phone, but she was cute and there for her check up and I wanted to document it, so they got used, lol.
I started with a old Heidi Swapp paper from my stash for the background. I knew I wanted to use the flower die cut pack from this collection and the cool little round stickers, so I just backed my pictures with some white cardstock, chose my journaling card. I stuck those down where I knew I wanted them and then started building from there. I pinched out some flowers from some of the other papers and cards and started layering them in this the die cuts, popping a few up here and there for some dimension.

After I had all the bits and pieces around my pictures like I wanted, I decided that I wanted something across the bottom of the layout too so I started that by adding a strip of paper all the way across the layout. I grabbed a few other papers and layered them behind and on top of the strip. I added a few more flower die cute and things that I punched out. I added a few sequins and a word sticker here and here and that was it for this one. This collection is so bright and beautiful, you can do so many different thins with it!! Thanks for joining me today and checking out my layout.

Life is good 12x12 layout/ Pretty little Studio design team

Good morning everyone!! Its Friday!! I'm so happy the weekend is here and that school is almost out. One more week for us here, how long do you all have?
Im here this morning to share with you a goofy little layout I made with me and my oldest son and snapchat.

I started out by choosing a goofy picture of me and my oldest son playing with snapchat, I already knew what awesome collection I was using so I went into my stash and grabbed a background paper.

I started my layout off to the left hand side by layering a bunch of different papers and tags behind my photo.

I had fun playing with all the bright colors and adding pink in even though it was a layout with a boy. I have problems doing this usually, I dont know why either. I think pink is perfectly fine on a boys layout, so I went a head and added it.

After I was done with all my layering and playing on the left hand side of my layout I grabbed a frame and a diecut title. I adhered the frame down and popped up my title for some dimension. I love flair and I will always say that and probably have multiple times lol but I grabbed one and added a little mess of thread behind it.
I went back and added some of the cool little stickers from the collection and some black splatters and was happy with it.
I hope you enjoyed this layout and I hope you will come back and check out what else I make and what the rest of the ladies here create too!

Good morning everyone! I hope your weekend is going good so far! Ours started out rainy and stormy and today we woke up to a beautiful blue sky! So now I'm hoping it stays this way for mothers day! And happy Mothers Day to all you moms and pet moms out there!!

I'm here this morning to share a new layout I made with the Ain't life grand collection.
I started my layout with a white background and grabbed a few of my favorite patterned papers out.

Then I started to layer them behind a cute little picture of one of my daughters and my hubby cuddling on the couch. I had a piece of one of my patterned papers that I had punched a few circles out of and liked the way it looked tucked in, so I added that in there too, and then added a doily behind it all.

I decided to add a little more color to the top of my layout, so I added a strip of pink to the top and a little triangle to the left and sewed them down. To finish it all, I decided to grab my water colors and add a little bit of navy blue splatters.
A nice simple layout with lots of color. Thanks so much for stopping by to see what I made today. Make sure to head back to the Pretty Little studio blog and see what all the other ladies have created for you too!

Good morning everyone! Sarah here this morning to share with you a layout I made with the new , bright and summery, Aint' Life Grand  collection.

Here is the Big cheese! I was going threw my scraproom this last week cleaning up and reorganizing when I came across some older pictures that I thought I had lost and this was one of them. My oldest boy back when he was still in a high chair! I remember taking this picture, all's I had to do was ask his to look at me and he cheesed so big, I couldn't help but take the picture.

I started this page out with piecing together some cut files from The cut shoppe, I chose my background and then went to backing my cut file with the bright, beautiful papers. I popped the cut file up with 3D foam adhesive and placed it down. I pulled my photo out and played with it, trying to decided where I wanted it.

I started layering behind my photo, using a frame off to the right, adding a flair button with a little nest of thread behind it.

I bounced around my layout adding those adorable cork hearts, some ephemera and little thread clusters.

To finish off my layout I went down to the bottom right and placed my title, along with a die cut.

I hope you enjoyed this layout and I hope you come back and see what else I have in store! Make sure to share yout layouts or projects on Instagram and make sure to tag Pretty little studios so we can see too!!
